Hey! My name is Tammy and I come with two pups, Luke & Leia. We moved to Melbourne from Sydney a year ago and we're trying to figure out which area we want to settle in. I work full-time as an HR Manager and am studying my MBA on the side. I enjoy a good glass of wine and some trashy telly or true crime doco every once in a while. Luke & Leia are almost 5 years old now. They enjoy a good snooze where ever there is a patch of sun. We are looking for housemates that are neat and tidy that love dogs (Luke & Leia could always do with more pats). See you around! Tam
I'm an easy-going 25 year old guy from India, working full time in Melbourne CBD. A non-vegetarian too. My clients are based in Melbourne CBD (I'm a tech consultant), so I'm looking for an accommodation preferably near to CBD or less than 5km from CBD. I'm a smoker (outside the house), but I am also a very clean person. Non-judgmental and understanding. I blend in with people easily. I'm very responsible when it comes to doing my share of the household work, paying rent/bills, etc. I don't have pets but I'm totally fine with them being in the house. I will respect your privacy, quiet-time and expect the same from you too. I'm looking to move in by December 1. Perks of living with me: 1. I've a couple friends who are pursuing their masters in Melbourne. You get to socialize with them, their friends and so on (on weekends), if you want to. 2. You get an ensemble of recommendations about trending and amazing Movies/TV Series to binge on. 3. A lending ear to your problems and tons of free and good advice whenever you need it. 4. One stop solution to all your PC problems. I love fixing Windows PCs/Laptops. So if you ever got a problem, you know what to do. 5. Exceptional critic and reviewer when it comes to patching up job resumes, blog articles etc. 6. A co-op mate if you're into gaming. 7. You get to taste a lot of Indian dishes and be a part of several experimental cooking recipes. Don't worry about the spices, I'm versatile :) Don't hesitate to ask me if you want to know more.
Heya! I’m Sus a 2nd year pre-service teacher; I adore nature, literature and the arts. For fun, I enjoy going out for walks or just browsing through Netflix. I’m big on generally being nice so no worries I’ll do my part to be a good house mate. If you’ve got a cozy little space that’s easy on the wallet, feel free to drop a message! x
Hi! My name is Isobel. I am a 25 year old teacher. I have just been offered a new job in Ardeer. Unfortunately the position is for 2019 so I wouldn't be looking to move until around January. I am flexible about location but ideally would like to be within about 20mins from Ardeer. I am tidy and reliable and hoping to find some friendly new housemates!
Hi there - I'm Matty, I'm a 29 year old scientist and health and nutrition entrepreneur (or trying to be at least). I've been in Melbourne for about 6 years now and I moved up from the sticks in country Victoria to do my degree and study and also for music (I'll explain more in a bit). I have been share-housing for 11 years now and it really is time for me to find someone completely on my wavelength to live with. I'm growing out of the multiple person share house with extremely different interests and lifestyles and I am seeking a home environment that is conducive and organic to the way I'd like to live, which is pretty simple.. clean, healthy and positive. I am also a drummer and I am signed to an agency and do a lot of corporate gigs. I obviously will not be drumming at home but I do need a bit of storage space to be able to put my things. I am very much a rational and fair individual and I prefer to talk things out and approach anything with a focus to solve and do what is best for everyone. I'm usually the fun, social guy among my friendship circles and I'm always up for a laugh and to meet new people. I can also speak Spanish and really love the language and latin american culture too. Oh and I am all about using PT (hate traffic haha) So I also would really like to be in walking distance to a train or tram that takes me to the city/work - I work mainly at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Anyway, enough about me - let's catch up to see if we click!
Hello! I am looking to live in a share house. It is important to me that this is a quiet house as I will be entering Honours next year. I also would prefer a desk to be able to fit in the bedroom or a place where I can study undisturbed. I would also like for there to be a BIR if possible. In a perfect world, I would love for an ensuite/own bathroom and some form of air con in the room. I am a social being and I would like to live with people who aren't scared to have a chat. Looking to hopefully bring along my ginger cat.
Hey I'm 22 years old and have lived in share accommodation for around 2 years. I'm quite low maintenance and love a good party but require quite a bit if down time just like everyone else. I'd like to live with people of the same speed! Whilst I'm happy to clean up and lend a helping hand to a busy housemate, I'd like those who I live with to be as independent as I am. Hit me up if you think we'd make a good match I'll make some mojitos xx
I'm extremely easy going, open minded and fastidious. So anyone living with me always benefits as I do most of the the cleaning. I respect others needs for private space with occasional socialising. I'm a full time student and artist, so spend most of my time doing assignments or paintings. I'm looking for low maintenance housemates who are also not overly sensitive emotionally. Just want to live in a drama free household. 😊👍 I have a Japanese spitz (small-medium size dog), but can keep her at family if absolutely necessary.I also have some furniture so looking for a place that can accommodate furniture or has storage for furniture until I can figure out what to do with it. I'm looking for home I can be comfortable in, and has a friendly, safe and open environment. This is imperative as I am more of a home body. Respect is also key regarding interaction between housemates as well as respect for belongings. I would like a bedroom door that is lockable and would prefer to live in a house, but open to apartment only if there is a balcony with view or a courtyard as apartments can get claustrophobic. 😜☺️
I am very coorperative with the rules and regulations applied, I will take care of the property very well. I don’t smoke and I will not throw any parties.
What makes me a good housemate? Fun,friendly and mature. I’m clean, tidy and easy going. Port Augusta, South Australia is where I have come from. I enjoy music, cooking, diving, reading, drinks with friends, movies and playing games just to name a few. Iam working full time in melbourne and would like to live close-ish to the city. Let’s meet up and have a coffee/tea/beer and see how we go✌🏻
I work full time in the city as a waitress/bartender, so I won’t be home much on the weekends. I mainly keep to myself but I do enjoy going out for dinners and having movie/tv binge nights! Im not a big drinker myself but I can definitely make a killer cocktail if you feel like getting a little tipsy with dinner. I am a very happy person, with a chilled out vibe unless I’m really hungry. I also have a 3.5 year old cat named George. He is desexed and an indoor only cat as he isn’t the brightest crayon in the box. Other than that he is very timid but cuddly once he’s warmed up to you. He mostly sleeps on or under my bed all day and is very well behaved. Please let me know if you have any questions! Ideally I would like to rent an apartment in the city, I don’t mind if the room is a bit on the small side as long as it has a window and space to store my clothes! My max budget is $230 a week on rent, not including bills. However I would definitely prefer to pay less if that’s an option. I’ve lived out of home for 4 years but so I am a well trained housemate, very tidy and respectful. I would also prefer to live with only females, but if oh think we’d be a good match feel free to send me a message ☺️
I am easy going person, I am from South America, I have lived in Australia for 11 years, I work full time. Must of my time I love to read, movies and cook for people. I always pay my bills and I am good at cleaning after myself.
I work full time in the interior design industry. When not at work like to keep fit with running and during the week tend to lay low. On the weekends will get out and about with friends. Very clean and tidy.
Moving to Melbourne on the 1st/2nd week of Nov. I'm a commencing postgrad Architecture student at Deakin Uni(Geelong) so I am looking for a nice place where it's both easy to take a train to Geelong or travel to the city center (since I'm also planning to work part time). I'm open-minded, friendly, considerate and respect others' privacy. I like to stay in and have my own time but I'm also occasionally down to travelling, movie nights or meals. Preferably looking for a female housemate of the same. Preferably looking for a month or two stay first to get used to the place and then to extend to long term lease, since my program is 2 years. :)
Hi, My name is Apeec. I'm originally from Canberra and moved to Melbourne last year. I am a neat, respectful, considerate and friendly person. I also understand the need for privacy and personal time/space. I like sports, reading, philosophy and have an eclectic taste in most things. When not working, you'll find me playing bball, reading, music, radio or out exploring with friends and family. I work full time in the city, so a place that's close to transport would be optimal. I look forward to hearing from you. Kind Regards, Apeec
I'm clean, but not excessively OCD kind. I do love a cold brew now and then. But don't mind my own down time and respect it, if you do too. I love the outdoors and have been traveling for about 8-9 months and have been living overseas for a decade now, decided to head back here to Australia to see what's happening and settle (?) maybe. I am according to my friends, social, random and love to goof around. But not to the point someone wants to punch me. I can't wait to meet ya!
Hi, I'm a traveler stayed in Perth and planning to move to Melbourne for a couple of months.. Easy going, tidy and very helpful if it's needed.. working on a documentary and planning to work a couple of months in Melbourne.
Hello! I am a 29 year old American traveling through Australia. I plan on staying in Melbourne for at least 3 months. Always good for a conversation but have no problem keeping my own company. More than willing to help out with my share of chores around the house. Looking for a relaxed place to sleep between work and exploring the city. Thanks! Tim
I'm a fulltime student studying I.T. and looking for a place closer to RMIT CBD campus. Looking for a private room and happy to move sooner if need be. I like to keep a clean space, respect other peoples privacy, chill vibes, and enjoy some drinks with music and friendly people. Overall I'm a pretty relaxed guy if I say so myself. I moved from Queensland last year so I'm still getting to know Melbourne. I dig Melbournes local music scene so you may find me catching some event gigs at local bars, I'm also always down for movie nights, board games, trying new places for food, or good classic conversations. Other than all that, ill mostly be minding my own business studying quietly at home or at RMIT city campus. In my personal downtime, you'll find me catching up on the backlog of unfinished steam games or catching up on a host of tv shows and films that I keep getting nagged about not watching : )
