Hello! I am looking to live in a share house. It is important to me that this is a quiet house as I will be entering Honours next year. I also would prefer a desk to be able to fit in the bedroom or a place where I can study undisturbed. I would also like for there to be a BIR if possible. In a perfect world, I would love for an ensuite/own bathroom and some form of air con in the room. I am a social being and I would like to live with people who aren't scared to have a chat. Looking to hopefully bring along my ginger cat.
Fun Irish guy. Working 6 days a week. Looking for my first Australian home. Conscientious, clean and quiet. Working 6 days mostly. If not going on surfing trips. Looking for a chilled house with fun people.
Hey guys, 28 year old Half Australian/Japanese Male looking for a new place to live! I currently manage Irish Pub in the city full time, but outside of work, I'm very chilled. I've also got two degrees, a Bachelor of International Relations and a Masters Degree in Public Policy, but I'm delaying my move into governance as I'm really enjoying hospitality management at the moment. I'm also fluent in Japanese, and have cooked professionally in the past! My main interests outside of the above is of course, travel, football (soccer), losing money on the ASX.
Hey, my name is Ajay (30, born & raised in Melbourne w/ Indian background). Working full time in hospitality. Looking for a place in cbd or outer city (any side-N.E.W.S.) as I work in the city. I am very sociable but also know people need their privacy. I enjoy to the gym, cooking and enjoying outdoors activities. With work and hobbies, I won’t be home often unless I have a day off (rarely) but would make time to spend with my housos (dinner, drinks, grocery shopping, cleaning etc). I like a clean and tidy place (not a clean freak though). If you have any further questions, just ask. Also, have no problem going on the lease (would prefer it) but flexible considering circumstance. Thanks, Ajay.

Hey! I'm currently living in Adelaide but wanting to be in Melbourne at the start of December. I'm a very laid back, bubbly, social person who gets along with basically anyone! I'm always up for a chat and some wines but also love a good Netflix binge! I have a few friends in Melbourne and some family but not too many so id love to move into a place that I can meet some people and form some for friendships :) Im a youth worker and will likely to be working some crazy shifts ( in Adelaide I do 50+ hour weeks and 24 hour long shifts ) - so im probably not going to be home to often!
Hey! I am 29 years old and work full time from Monday to Friday. Easy going and very social but also enjoy my downtime Getting lost in a good book! Lover of food and music, the outdoors/nature, animals, art or anything creative. I spend a lot of my weekends hiking and enjoying the outdoors or exploring the many restaurants and cafes that Melbourne has to offer, food is life! Haha. Currently looking for a new place to call home 🙂. Looking for a decent sized room with en-suite in a clean and tidy home with easy going like minded house mates. I would prefer to live with no more then 2 others but am open to other options.
I am a professional in my late 20s working full time at RMIT. I am someone who loves living in a house that I can consider home with people whom I can get along with and share a meal or some meaningful chats with when possible I have been living in Melbourne from past 10 years. I enjoy good meals pretty much open to any kind of cuisine. I have lived and shared house with people from various cultures and I am very friendly, tend to keep home clean and respect others privacy. In my free time I like to Yoga, Netflix, Dance classes and may be a road trip out in country. I am LGBTQI friendly and would not want to live with people who are in any way discriminatory. shoot me a message if you feel we would be a good match! Please send me your number as my subscription has expired so I won’t be able to message back. Regards, Vandna
Hi Everyone My name is Carmela and I am a 24 year old student working part-time. I’m originally from interstate and have been living in Melbourne for around 2 years now. I’m looking to move into a fairly new townhouse/apartment anytime in January (before 20/01). I’m open to the Suburb as long as I am not too far out of the city/near a train line. I don’t have any common area furniture (lounge/dining table etc.) but I would be happy to purchase anything we may need/split this cost with you if need be. As a housemate I am friendly and approachable and have an open door policy. I’m neither an introvert nor an extrovert which means that I love to have a good chat but will also respect your space and privacy. I don’t have the expectation that we will be best friends, but what I do expect is mutual respect for one another. Good communication is key! If there is something I am doing that you don’t like, I won’t bite your head off if you say something so long as it’s done out of love. I would rather you tell me and make both our lives easier than stewing over it. At the end of the day I want our home to be a safe space for the both of us which can require a little patience and co-operation. I promise to always meet you half way. I am very clean and I will do my fair share of the chores. I don’t ask that you never leave anything around house ever, but I would appreciate things like washing dirty dishes (leaving them to drip dry is fine so long as they are not there a week!), and wiping down the kitchen bench after use, all that standard stuff. I will occasionally have my family stay over when they visit from interstate (got to love Italian families), but I don’t have a partner who will regularly be staying over. I’m totally fine with it if you do though! I don’t have any pets of my own but again, I’m cool with it if you do. I have a car but it’s no Mercedes, I am happy to park it on the street if need be. That’s all I can think of for now, let me know if you have any questions Much love, Carmela
Hi my name is Nicolas, I'm looking for a new place to live around Melbourne, I'm moving for work at least for 6 months. I'm quiet, clean, and easy-going. I like my privacy so I respect other people's space too. You can check my Airbnb reviews too if you want "/users/show/17381290"
Hi everyone! I am a young doctor working full time at Western Health next year. I’m originally from Melbourne, but I have lived away from home for 5 years now and so have had my fair share of housemates. I have an open door policy, I don’t lock myself up in my room. I am very clean and often find that I end up doing all the housework which isn’t really fair, so I would appreciate living with someone who is willing to share the load. I love to cook and bake, I am Greek/Italian. My partner will probably spend a bit of time over, after May because he will be overseas before then. We are really friendly and love to socialise so if you have a partner who is also a nice human we would love to be friends. I am not a loud person, I don’t play loud music. I don’t like when my housemates blast their tunes when I am trying to sleep after a night shift or when they bash pots and pans.. which is common sense. I am a really fair person, and am really caring, but if I find it isn’t reciprocated, I won’t be walked all over. I would like to move into a fairly new either town house or apartment. I have all of my own furniture and a beautiful cat called Mandy who you will love (unless you hate cats, in which case I don’t want to live with you ;) ) I will mainly be working at Sunshine hospital so near there would be good, but anywhere close to a train station in the western suburbs is also fine. Please feel free to message me if you feel like we might be a good match! I’m trying to get organised early to make the transition as smooth as possible :)
Easy going (as everyone would say) Love banter and honesty superceeds everything. I have my own house that i have sublet to other people and have never had an issue. I have until June/July before my new place is built and have a young family about to rent my current place.
Hi guys! I am a 31 yr old professional, working full time in the city 9-5 etc and looking for a place to call home. I am originally from New Zealand have lived in various places all over the world for the last 10 years. Looking for somewhere I can relax after work and have a chat/meal/wine with my flatmate, but also happy to have my space. Also would be great if my new flattie is happy for the occasional weekend guest to stay when my family and friends come down from Sydney for a visit. This would be rare, but still wanted to put that out there :) I have only recently moved to Melbourne so spending lots of my time exploring the city, love to head to gigs, theater, going for a hike on the weekends, travelling and all that fun stuff. Looking to move at the very beginning of Jan! Thanks Pru
Hi there, Vikalp here ! So with my current lease running out, I am looking for a place in and around Yaraville. I am currently working in Ford Geelong, but looking to stay somewhere closer to my friends and the city. I have lived in shared houses in Melbourne/Sydney and am currently living in one as well. I would love to find a similar thing. If you are looking for something to possibly even rent together I could be the person. I have my hands full working through the week so you probably wont catch me through the day. My weekends are mostly spent catching up with all my friends. If not I'll be exploring things in and around area. I love a social chat and a drink when possible. I like being organised about my stuff and I love a clean place around, so tend to always clean around and do my fair share of daily chores. So shoot me a message if you think we can work something out. Cheers ! :)
Heya! My name is Pamela and I am an avid traveller, film buff, and language enthusiast. I enjoy a variety of activists that range from camping/hiking to leisurely wandering to just having a good chat with others over a shared meal/activity. I am tidy, respectful, and very responsible. I enjoy the social dynamic that sharing space with others brings, but also enjoy my alone time every now and then.
Looking for an large unfurnished room & to move in early Jan. I prefer to live with up to 2 flat mates and I have some household furniture. I am studying full time and relative new to Melbourne. At 49, I am incredibly well equipped to manage myself. I have my own home, so understand what’s needed. Happy to set up house with another as well.
I'm a pretty easy going person, good to live with, love to socialise but also love to chill out and binge on netflix! Very respectful of people's belongings and space. Currently working as a medical receptionist and do a couple nights a week at a pub. I can't wait for summer actually... drinking a nice cold cider in the sun :) I appreciate the simple things, family, friends and positive vibes. If there is anything else you'd like to know just send me a message. Thanks
