Hello! I'm a software engineering student looking for a room to stay. I have an easy-going personality. I am respectful of other's space, but am also friendly and happy to chat. I am also tidy and responsible - very happy to help around the house. When I'm not studying you might find me checking out an old movie at the cinemateque or making a rubbish video game.
Hi, I’m a 36 year old female working in the events industry. I enjoy keeping fit, healthy eating, socialising with friends and family and travel. Looking for a home to share with others that are friendly, easy going, clean, enjoy a laugh and are respectful of others.
Hey everyone! Originally a Sydney-sider, moved to Canberra for five years and now I am making the move to Melbourne. I'll be undertaking a post-graduate degree in Hawthorn (Swinburne) and would love a commute time (transport+walk) of under 35 or so minutes. I'm always up for a chat and love board games. However as a student/researcher, I may spend a day or two cooped up in my room trying to get through the next four years of uni! On another note, I make sure I keep the communal areas clean, particularly after I've used it. Shoot me a message if you think I could be your next housemate!
In 2016 I deferred a science degree at The Australian National University to travel the world. Although living in a new city every other day provided endless excitement, I've made the decision to return to university, this time at The University of Melbourne. In regards to my qualities as a prospective housemate, I've got the whole "clean up after yourself" down pat. I enjoy socialising but also understand the importance of privacy.
Hi guys, I looking for a fun place to live! I have a very upbeat job in sales so when I come home I’d love to be able to chill out have a good chat and even some wine with house mates. I work from 7-6, 5 days a week. I love animals, a couple of drinks to relax and love binge watching shows, I do love to do some cooking so if having house dinners to all catch up would be great. Look forward to possibly seeing you as a house mate :)
Hi there future flattie! I'm a PhD student moving from NZ on the 16th February to study Pharmaceutical Research at WEHI so am looking for a sharehouse within a short tram ride to the Parkville. I'm super excited to explore Melbourne and hopefully live with some great housemates/friends! A bit about me - I'm easy-going, tidy and respectful of others' space. Not much of a party-goer but I do love a good chat over a wine. I love keeping fit but definitely appreciate some good comfort food and love cooking Mexican! I'm sadly allergic to cats so cannot live with cat parents :( but am a HUGE dog lover so that's a plus if you have one! Flick me a message if you think we would make great flatmates. I look forward to hearing from you!
Hey, I'm moving from Sydney to Melbourne ideally in mid March and I'm looking for some easy going, welcoming, good people to live with. I don't mind mixed genders and I like housemates who I can have a chat with but also respect privacy. I'm very clean, respectful and I pay bills on time. I'll be transferring to a full time job within my company when I arrive so rent payments will always be reliable.
Hi! My name is Swan. I’m a 21 year old French girl from Paris. I’m going to Melbourne to do a Master degree of arts and cultural management at the University of Melbourne at the end of February 2019. Big fan of musicals and food. I am looking for a lovely place to stay during my studies (one year and a half, maybe a bit less) with my own bedroom. Looking for funny flatmates to share my time with but who also respect privacy.
Hi, I’m 25, from Manchester, UK. I’ve just been travelling through South America and New Zealand and now I’m moving to Melbourne to live and work. First time in Melbourne so looking for a place with some friendly roommates to pass on their wisdom. I’m pretty laid back and easygoing. I’m quite active (football, running, yoga etc.) and also enjoy watching films, doing a quiz or going out for a coffee beer/wine/gin. I can speak French but despite spending 2 months in South America, speak very little Spanish! I’m good in the kitchen and often bake (free brownies on request 😋) Happy to share my Netflix and help out with any cleaning.
Very easy going to live with, clean, good cook, love to hang with flatmates with a vino or two on the weekend. Work in the humanitarian sector, from Melbourne originally but returning home after 8 years abroad.
Hi future flat mates, I’m an easy going and fun house mate looking for new home with good vibes. I’m from the uk but have been in Australia for eight years. I’m very relaxed and chilled and enjoy all the usual things Melbourne has to offer. I’m a vet nurse teacher so work pretty standard hours and in the week I can be found out at a movie, doing some kind of fitness, reading or writing. At the weekend I enjoy music (both watching and playing), being outdoors, cooking a delicious meal and sipping a wine in the garden, nature, travelling, markets and meeting friends. I am fairly low key during the week and am looking for chilled house to call home. I am reliable with bills and contribute to house chores. Love a chat and a beer but respectful of others space. Hope to hear from you soon!
Hi my name is James I currently study horticulture at Melbourne University and work at a nursery out in Mt Evelyn. I'm a laid back guy who is apparently fun to be around so I've got that going for me. I like meeting new people and making friends. Am always happy to share a meal or unwind over a drink or three. I like to keep my spaces relatively tidy and appreciate a well planned chore roster. As a horticulture student my ideal home has a garden to grow in and a space for compost. Not necessary, just ideal. Looking for a place over 2019 before jetsetting off overseas in 2020.
Hey hey future housemate! I’m 23, I work full time in advertising at Channel 7, and originally from England but have been in Melbourne a few years now. I’m currently living in Keilor East and looking to move closer to the city. I’m single, super easy-going, love a good chat, but am fully house-share trained! I have furniture I’d be bringing with me - dining chairs, outdoor furniture, tv stand, desk, shelving units, slow cooker, coffee machine etc. if you’re interested in any additions for the house. Anything you didn’t have space for I can arrange to left with a friend or I can sell. During the week im pretty chilled - mainly gym in the mornings, work Mon-Fri, and in the evenings I’m either binging a doco series on Netflix, seeing friends or you’ll find me in the garden with a chunky book and giant G&T. I love to cook and bake so the house will always be full of goodies. On the weekends I love to get out and about - food, drinks, day trips, beaches - and I’d love housemates I could do all these things with too! I’m quite a social person, but I do like down time. I like to have my own space and privacy and am respectful of others needing the same. Please drop me a message if you think we’d get on 😊 Thanks, Lucy
I'm a 25 year old aerospace engineer from the country, but have spent most of the last several years down here in Melbourne. I build transport drones for work, and have recently moved the workshop into Port Melbourne where I'll be spending most of my time. I hope to find suitable housemates that I can become friends with, who I could share a few drinks with after work and hang out on days off. However I'm also prepared to settle into a quiet place where I would concentrate on work while I'm here, and head away during my days off. I'm polite & tidy. Happiest when I'm camping down by the river with my boat wakeboarding or fishing with good mates. But I also love a good night in with friends over drinks and dinner.
Fun, outgoing and adventurous person. I work full time Tuesday to Saturday. I’m very open minded and easy to get on with. I regularly attend the gym and enjoy socialising with friends.
Hey! I'm a Londoner over in Australia on a working holiday visa. I am super easy going and friendly, but also respect privacy. I love going on adventures, and am hoping to find some cool housemates who can explore with me, but I also love chilling out and watching netflix.
Hey! I have lived out of home the past 2 years and I'm looking for a new place to live. I'm currently studying commerce at Deakin. I consider myself super friendly, easy going and relaxed. I enjoy hanging out with others however respectful of people's personal space.
Hello, my name is TJ and I am a 23 year old from California. I am moving to Melbourne to complete a research PhD in neuroscience at the University of Melbourne. I will be spending most days at the University performing research, but in my free time I like to play sports, watch TV, play video games, and read. I am clean and outgoing and like to go out for drinks. Would prefer a private room but am flexible.
