I'm a sociable person, always keen for dinners or a wine at the end of a long day - but also respectful of housemates who prefer their own space. I'm clean and tidy, and I'm out a lot so you'll mostly have the place to yourself! From NZ and been here about 3 months now - if you want to know more feel free to ask :)
Hey! I'm a full-time Digital Marketing professional from Sri Lanka with a current 9 to 6 at work and then I just chill-out peacefully afterwards usually. I generally keep to myself but I'm always up for a chat to either catch-up or otherwise. I like my music, movies and series' and am definitely open to suggestions for other things to do as well. I like keeping my area as well as whatever property I'll be a part of hospitable and neat as well. To be honest I think I'm just quite chill but with just capable of handling the shared responsibility of living with others. Please feel free to ask me anything else :)
I’m a easy person to live with and friendly... I like to maintain the house clean and also I have a pretty busy routine! I’ve been sharing places with friends since I was about 20, so lots of experience haha (especially common sense!) it’s a big thing, believe me. 😅 I’m a very chill person and I enjoy having my time alone, but sometimes I’m open for a chat, share a meal together, watch a movie, or even go for a walk around a park after work. I like to exercise and try to be healthy on week days. But we can have an occasional pizza and wine (I don’t mind) haha
I am easy going, respectful, love to have a laugh. I am up for a household dinner or drink every now and again. Neat and tidy, will do my part and am responsible with what needs to be done(punctual and trustworthy). I respect privacy because I expect the same. I am LGBT friendly, am super friendly and approachable. I am not a party animal but I don't mind every now and again. I can be a night owl sometimes but like peace and quiet as well as a bit of party sometimes but not often. I am 21 in November. I am studying music full-time in Yarraville(next to Footscray) and work Part Time in Caroline Springs(however wherever I move I will look for a job closer). I do not drive yet but am aiming to get my licence soon. I have a partner but am looking to live by myself although he would come over sometimes, but is very respectful. I would prefer a large room but NOT 100% necessary. I just need a place to store an upright piano, disassembled drum kit, and maybe some some other small things. The reason I am looking for a place to stay is because my family has moved to Sydney not long ago and I am staying here to work and study further. If you'd like to know anything else, message me for my number and I'll be happy to answer. Look forward to speaking to you!
Hello! I'm James Currently live in Seddon, have lived around the area my whole life and love it. My current lease ends on the 7th of October however, I am able to move earlier if needed. I am an extremely sociable person, who enjoys a good chat, and I come from a turkish family... So you know I love my food. I work full-time as a barista/jaffels maker in the city. You will find me thoughtful and considerate of others. My friends and family mean the world to me. I thoroughly enjoy working in teams and sharing good humor. I enjoy games and anime (maybe an understatement), and always happy to nerd out with others. Although I am very sociable, I also enjoy my own down time (I won't be living in your pocket). I go out for lunches and coffee dates with friends almost every chance I get. I pride myself on my ability to keep things neat and tidy (but don't worry, unless you're a total mess you won't get complaints from me). I always pay rent and bills on time and respect people's space. No Doubt. If you would like to know anything else, please don't hesitate to message me back. Thanks!
We are a couple from Ireland and are moving to Melbourne in October for at least 2 years. We are sociable, easy going, fun loving, interesting people and we are easy to live with. We get up early and work hard (we are both Dentists) but also like going places and doing cultural things. We are active people and like gymming, CrossFit, running, footy, yoga, surfing, snowboarding/skiing. We also like to eat healthily and love coffee! We do have many other interests also, watching films, reading and we have travelled all around the world making friends with people from all backgrounds. We also love to have a drink (or 10) at the weekend or when we have time off and would hope to make friends with the people we like with and not just share a house! We've come to Melbourne to experience a new city and meet some new people. Looking forward to hearing back from you! Rebecca + Joseph
Fresh engineering grad working at GM Holden in design. Love the outdoors and going hiking, skiing, biking, rock climbing, any outdoors is good. Appreciates the finer things in life (good food and drinks). Work full time so during the week pretty regular schedule, weekends prefer to go out for hikes or go explore. Can appreciate time alone but also love to be sociable. I bring cheese, wine and good vibes to the table. Have my own furniture so looking for a teamup but also happy to join a sharehouse :)
Lived with housemates for 3 years now, so i know the ropes with sharehouses, im having to move due to work Clean and respectful, but i enjoy to be social and share a few drinks, watch a movie/sport and cook meals with my housemates. Looking to be mates with the people i live with, not just another tenant
Hey! Im a 30 year old musician, student, guitar teacher and tradesman studying a Bachelor of Music at Victoria University in Footscray, and also work in the construction industry. Im looking for a chill place with like minded, easy going people to have some creative space and work on my studies. Other musicians would be ideal, but not essential. Always up for a chat, hangs or a jam!
Clean, Friendly, Always respectful of other ppls space. I work fulltime and most weekends so barely home. spend alot of my spare time at the gym also. I'm the sort of person who will probably just hide in his room watching Netflix after work. Thank you:)
We are clean, tidy, respectful, down to earth and easy to get along with :). We like to keep to ourselves and aren't looking for a party house but don't mind socialising and having a good time by any means!! We're moving from Brisbane to Melbourne and would love to sort out an easy start before moving, as opposed to being in a hotel while looking for a place, so if you're keen to set up an inspection please let us know ASAP :) Suzi has family friends who can help with work just not accommodation, around sunshine, so near there is preferrable but retty much anywhere in Melbourne would be okay :)
My name is Tom and I am 19 years old from London , United Kingdom. I have recently moved over on a working holiday visa for a maximum of 2 years. I am looking to find a room in a house with other young adults - starting November 2018. I am excited to get to know Melbourne and all of the things it has to offer. I enjoy sports, music, theater and socializing. Keen to meet people with similar interests or someone to have a laugh with. As I do not know Melbourne yet it would be good to meet people who can give me a few pointers on places to go as well as areas to look for work. Really easy going and a fun guy to be around - I am very relaxed but also very respectable when it comes to communal spaces and sharing a house. I have experience in bar tending and cocktail making - one of the reasons I wanted to move to Melbourne was to experience the extensive cocktail industry that Melbourne has to offer.
Hi there! I am currently looking at moving closer to where I work in Parkville - tired of the commute from the other side of Melbourne! Ideally I would like to rent a place by myself, but I don't yet have the required start up funds, so I am seeking a share situation for about 3-6 months as an interim solution. I don’t own a car, so public transport options are important, particularly train lines (faster than trams!). As well as working full-time, I participate in things such as music rehearsals & other activities, so I am not at home very much. When I am at home I mostly like to relax and rejuvenate. I love cooking, baking, board/card games, pool, music, theatre, culture, reading, sleeping, parklands, crime dramas, and animals. I would be keen to live with people who share similar interests. Not too fussed on age and I am totally accepting of different lifestyles. I drink very rarely - I am not opposed to living with someone who drinks just not heavily. I would prefer a non-smoking household as well. I pay rent/bills on time and I am extremely clean and tidy. I have lived in share houses for over 10yrs, so I understand the importance of respect and communication. References are available.
Hello I’m Bradley from Liverpool uk , I’ve been in Australia for almost a month now. Ive been staying in a hostel but since securing a job I’m looking for something more permanent. I am ex military so as you can probably imagine I like to be clean, tidy and organised with myself and my home. I try to get to the gym at least 3-5 times a week depending on work. I enjoy the odd beer on the weekends and socialising with friends. I’m also a keen cook. Thanks
I’m Lisa, I’m relocating to Melbourne with my two small chihuahuas - so looking for a household that love dogs! I’ve got a car, but won’t be bringing my furniture over with me. I work full time, I’m tidy, easy going, and I’ve done the sharehouse thing before :) I am currently employed full time (I have been working in the same job for 8 years)
Hi! I’m Monica and I’m a graphic designer from Barcelona. I have come to Australia to work and travel. I’m a very easy going person and a good roommate . I like to read, watch movies and painting.
I'm a Kiwi, relocated in July. Currently in a share position in Laverton but when lease expires in November, will be moving less far away. I work in East Keilor, Parkville, and by appt in Yarraville so while I love this side of town, I need a few less train stops. I'm a practitioner of a health modality you've likely not heard of - very simply, I locate and release surprise impact from bones and the sensory shock system. This is new to Australia, so at the time of writing (August) have also two other part-time jobs - for both networking and self-suffiency reasons. By November, I will have only one of them and would love to live in a place where I could cook, pull some weeds, read or write in a sunny spot and pat a cat on my down time. (I don't have any animals, but I miss my cat and am amenable to small dogs). I've owned my own homes for more than half my life so know how to look after one, and I love to know someone is coming or going to say either a quick hello or share a meal on occasion. I'm apparently 'mature' having reached the half century mark, am environmentally aware, socially responsible, culturally open, fairly well travelled, reasonably educated, and like to bring flowers into the house. I don't smoke, and prefer no beer swilling rugby events in the lounge room, so if you do neither of those things it'd be lovely to meet you and see if we could share a space :)
We are from Chile, we've come to study english for one year or maybe more :) We love meet new peoples from other cultures and share own.
Kia ora! (that's hello in NZ Maori) Hi I am Daniel, I am 29 and have recently just decided to move to Australia from New Zealand. I have worked as an auditor with an accounting firm for the past 5 years but have taken a job in Melbourne in the finance department of a corporate. My job in Melbourne is a full time 9-5. I love to workout, and also love to settle down to watch a good movie when I can or hangout. I only know a few people in Melbourne, so I am hoping to meet a nice flatmate and also get to discover why Melbourne is such an amazing city.
Just received a notice to vacate after happily living in seddon for three years at the same property! Naturally will come with positive real estate referral. I am simultaneously looking for rentals to apply for with my current housemates also but figured I should put the feelers out to see what the rental options are or if anyone wants to team up. I'm a 31 year old student who is moments away from completing a diploma of community services and social work and plan to continue my studies in 2019, most likely psychology or social work. I work part time in hospitality so am financially secure and have a positive life/work/study balance. I come with a 12 year old cocker spaniel named romy who has been toilet trained since she was three months old. I love cooking, motown, sewing, craft beer and catching the odd gig or two. I go by a live and let live mentality and happily co-exist with people from different walks of life. Pet friendly is HARD to find so though I have three months notice I'm eager to confirm an opportunity when it arrises. Thank you! Lily
