Relocating from Perth over to Melbourne for a new job opportunity. Young professional looking for somewhere simple and easy to live near Laverton as this is where my new job is. I am a really easy person to live with, enjoy the social aspect of a housemate but completely respect the alone time we all need from time to time. I enjoy going to the gym, social sports (volleyball or taekwondo is a plus!), beach, movies, Coffee!! and everything else in between; I will be looking to explore and learn more about Melbourne as well as meet new people and make new friends over the next 6 months before I find somewhere to settle. I do have a new car so I am hoping to find somewhere with lockup parking or just something under-cover but it is not essential!
I am currently working full-time shift work in the city which can include night shifts and weekend shifts. Around my work days I like to stay in and relax, I love to cook and watch movies. On my days off I love to keep busy, trying to never spend the days at home! I'm very friendly and easy to get along with, I will keep to myself but also love a chat! Very clean and tidy so ideally would like someone similar. I currently already have a lot of my own furnishings, including fridge, washing machine, couch, tv unit etc... so am preferably looking for a team up and to find a place where i would have my own bathroom. I love being social with friends, so looking for something with a small entertaining area for the very occacional BBQ/ drinks on a nice day, nothing loud or that will run too late into the evening, of course you will be welcome to join! Definitely not a party, just a couple of mates having a drink or two
I'm a project manager in natural resource management (restoring rivers and other waterways) and enjoy healthy living, cooking, and creative pursuits. I work full-time and am generally out from 8 am til about 6:30 pm, but I pack in quite a lot outside of work. I love travel, dancing, going to gigs and plays, and usually like to go out for dinner 1-2 nights per week. I love wine, gin and chatting, but also value having time to write/read/listen to music etc. I have a lovely boyfriend who is excellent at fixing things.
Hi I am Gab! I am a 32 years old, working full-time in education. I am respectful, open, friendly, clean and easy going. I am originally from Ecuador and have lived in Melbourne for 14 years. In terms of sharing a house, I am all for openness, generosity, friendship and community but also understand importance of respecting peoples' space and privacy, and that means keeping things clean and tidy as well! I like cooking, running, doing yoga, music, dancing, hiking and hanging out with family and friends in my spare time! I also love pets so happy to join a house with any pets!!!
Hey people, Soo, Im a gay 25 year old male. I was a chef for 8 years and went on to manage a nightclub for 2 and coming into this year gave up both professions to undertake a bachelor business at the Australian School of Management. I know work part time to keep extra cash flow and am a full time student on Austudy looking for a somewhat mature environment to move into. I have a 20 yr old boyfriend who does stay with me frequently but he's also actually pretty quiet and easy going.. (as long as theres a mirror to keep him occupied) and a 3 month old kitten named max who I would take full responsibility for to the extent of even forfeiting a higher bond should it be necessary. He is an inside cat but he's very little and he's my best friend, and well looked after and he will be desexed and odour free I promise. I enjoy cooking, music, wine and the company of friends to chat. Drama is hopefully something we can leave a majority of in the past now I'm getting a bit older and diplomacy will ideally prevail in the event of any miscommunication that would occur. I am coming from my own 1 bedroom apartment that was furnished so although lacking somewhat in substantial furniture, I have all the means to make myself comfortable in my own space in which I would probably spend most of my time with max and my bf James.
I'm 22 years old and currently working full time in E- commerce for a clothing and footwear company (means I have the added bonus of cheap clothing and shoes hookups). I spend my spare time being social with my friends, drinking too much coffee, Eating too much food and doing Audio production work. I spend a large part of my weekends Djing in restaurants, beer gardens and lane-ways playing lounge and funk. I'm currently living in Northcote and completely in love with the north side of the city, I'm only looking to move as my girlfriend and I have decided to go our own ways. I've lived in share-houses for the past 5 years and love living in a clean homely place (banter is a must, can you even call it a home if there's no banter?) always up for dinner and a drink. I'm always willing to do my fair share, can Guarantee that I will always pay the bills on time and know how to be respectful of peoples personal space. I can provide assorted household goods if anyone needs anything. Looking to move before the end of the month. I'd love a chance to meet or grab a coffee. Let me know if you have any questions :)
Hi there, I am seeking a non-shared room, asap. Coming from Mildura, some work lined up. Preferably within 20kms of city. -Close to transport a must though!-no car. I'm laid-back, sociable, and into most things - tv, film, sports, books, travelling, animals.... and on and on and on. I'm moving to Melbourne at the start of April for a full time job in the publishing industry and I'm very keen to find a place to live! I am tidy, happy to cook and clean, and enjoy my own space - but I'm always happy for house hang-outs and a few drinks when it all works out. I've got a few friends in Melbourne so I won't be a home body and I'm very flexible when it comes to arranging the minor details. There's the possibility that I may be able to move in with a friend at the end of May/start of June which is why I've set my 'stay' to 3 months, however if I settle in a great place with awesome housemates, this may not be necessary. I'll be working in the Docklands so ideally I'm looking for something within 30 minutes on public transport (although I may bring my car), so I'm open to all areas in and around Melbourne. Please get in touch if you have any questions!
Im a laid back, quiet music student looking for a place to live with some awesome individuals. Fairly clean and tidy, especially when I'm procrastinating, random sleeping patterns but respectful of others.

Looking for a new place long term but happy to start with 6 months also. Looking strictly in the areas listed below. The "About me" section isn't displaying correctly but I have only selected "Working full time" so if you see any others, likely due to some bug (?) on this.

I'm an easy-going, quiet, fiscally conservative and peaceful carpentry apprentice. My only days off are Sunday, and I don't mind sharing a room with someone (I have my own stuff, furnished or unfurnished not a problem). When I'm not working, I'll be reading or scribbling things in notebooks. I also cook for myself (I was a cook for a few years!). Generally I keep to myself, but I'm happy to chat and spread good vibes. I'm looking for a flexible accomodation situation until December, so if anything here tickles your fancy, please send me a message. Thanks!

I work as a Disability Support Worker and Babysitter whilst studying Occupational Therapy full time. For fun i like to ride my bike, watch movies, read, socialize, go out here for a drink here and there, dinners, music festivals etc.
We are friendly, easy going people. Dont smoke, drink occasionally, prefer a bar to a club. I love to clean, especially the kitchen, and my husband is an AMAZING cook if you ever want to share meals. We work a lot so really just need a quiet place to sleep, friends would be a great bonus :)
I’m Australian, and currently doing my PhD at Melbourne University. I have two scholarships that provide me with a comfortable wage to study so can be considered as working full time. I also work one day per week with Melbourne Water doing some consulting work. I’m pretty laid back, but enjoy an active lifestyle. Enjoy catching up with friends, hiking/camping, beach trips, snow trips and travelling. I also make my own beer from scratch. So if there are any beer lovers in the house, I may be a popular addition! Looking for a private room in a share house with some fun and interesting peeps. Current lease is ending first week of May so ideally would like somewhere to move to from mid-end of April so I don’t end up homeless! Have been living in share houses for some time so am definitely house trained, courteous of others space and am quite clean and tidy, and enjoy cooking most meals. Look forward to meeting you!

Hi There! My name is Tessa, I'm a 22 year old Sydney girl looking to move to Melbourne! I just finished my business degree and am currently on the search for a job in the marketing/event management industry in Melbourne (will keep you posted!). Socialising and keeping myself company are things that I enjoy in equal measure. I'm not one to laze around much and prefer to get out and do things. I am a keen cook, it would bring me great pleasure to cook yummy veggie feasts for my future flatmates every now and then! I try to keep a healthy lifestyle through running and eating well but I am also happy to relax and have some fun every once in a while ;). I am looking for a share house where we can live communally but also respect each others personal space. As I am new to Melbourne, it would be great to move in with people who would want to occasionally go out on weekends, and be happy to have a chat in the evenings. If I sound right for your share house, I would love to say hello!

Hello! A little bit about myself: • 30 yr old female from SF bay area (definitely not a Trump supporter, don't worry!) • traveling on a 1yr working holiday visa & looking to make Melbourne home for the next few months • I have a border collie back home that I miss terribly, so if you have a dog you can guarantee I will shower them with love & ask to take them on walks all the time • also cool with cats • I'm completely non-judgmental, extremely open-minded, and respectful of humans from all walks of life & love getting to know people, share funny stories, have deep meaninful conversations, and bond over weird interests but also know how to keep to myself and respect one's privacy • Fairly social, fun, clean, smells good and showers regularly, super laidback and easy to get along with! What I do: • Currently looking for a bartending gig! Though I promise not to bring the party home, I'm getting too old for that. Now I just prefer to get paid to serve up some drinks & watch people have a good time • I read a lot! and recently got into podcasts (total nerd) • I'm a pretty good hula hooper, just thought this was worth noting • love going to see live music & discover new artists. My interests range but I listen to a lot of old school hip hop! (A Tribe Called Quest, Wu Tang, Outkast...) • I could hangout at the beach all day, every day just give me some tunes & a good book • I prefer to be outside & love to stay active If there's anything else you need to know, just fire away!

Hello! I am Deb. I am travelling from the UK and am looking for like-minded people to live with in Melbourne on a short-term basis (up to 4 months). I can be quite the friendly person, even more so when I get to know you, but I do appreciate my own space and time on regular occasions, so will definitely respect yours. I like the simple things in life, such as a good read, a good bed and damn good food! I'm the curious type so will try new things (as long as it doesn't involve dipping my head in water!) Having studied Applied Zoology and university, I have a strong interest in the natural world and its conservation, which I extend into my daily life where possible, be that with my diet or spending time in different outdoor places. I plan on getting a part-time job when I arrive as I like to keep busy. As for what I am like to live with? I believe consideration of others is key!! No unplanned parties and no messy shared facilities (e.g. washing up left to next evening, not doing share of kitchen/bathroom cleaning). I don't smoke so would really appreciate smokers to be inclined to smoke outside. I would prefer to live with vegetarians or vegans but that isn't a rule (is more to keep me on the wagon than anything else!!) I look forward to meeting you!

I work in admin, 9-5, Monday to Friday in Williamstown. I am looking to move around late April/Early May. Budget is $200pw or $250 including bills. Need parking for 1 car. Doesn't matter if it is on or off street.

Unfortunately, because of my situation, I can't arrange a viewing. My finances are very secure, I'm very friendly and respectful of others and others space (I get that shit!) I also have sweet board games and a pretty rad record collection if thats your thing. Thanks Leigh Robertson
Hi! i'm looking for place to with 1-2 awesome roomies in either yarraville or seddon, (no more than 8mins walk to a station), preferably a house, (not a tiny bedroom) with a little garden to call home. I'm easy going, mature, quiet (most of the time), open minded, and independent. Currently working part time, and running my own small business. I'm pretty much a junk food vegan who wont try to convert you or sit there and judge your food choices. Love to travel and will try my best to take short overseas adventures any chance I get (if my work and bank account will allow). Love memes! Happy to be a part of the house family but also enjoy my solitude and quietness, looking for others who do and feel the same. Love cleanliness in shared spaces! Don't mind a place with animal roomates. Looking to move in mid-late April. Please contact me to see if we'd make a nice fit. Cheers Lillian
