Hi there! I'm Joanne. I've been working in Singapore for the past 2 years and I am moving to Brisbane to take my masters. I love the outdoors and spend most of my free time running, hiking or at the pool/beach! (Love the beach and ocean) Would love to learn surfing at some point! Spent the last couple of months travelling South East Asia(Vietnam, Indonesia and cambodia) and had such an amazing time! I'm easy going/relaxed, enjoy hanging with friends and meeting people from all over the world :)
Hi my name is Tamika, and I’m looking for a room to rent around Brisbane city and sorrounding areas. I’m a quite, clean and tidy person, who always cleans up after themselves,I prefer to eat out,so will rarely be using the kitchen,I work part time at a bar in Brisbane City, looking to move out ASAP Thankyou :)
Hey! I'm Hussain, 28, currently a full-time student and also work at the airport. I enjoy new experiences, keeping fit at the gym, hiking and just being in nature. I love the occasional socializing and a drink or two every now and then. Clean, tidy and respectful. I'm also a pretty good cook ;) Ideally, I would love to be great friends with my future housemate(s) in that we get along, do things such as cook, eat, chill and hang out every now and then (no pressure haha) as opposed to being mere tenants with shared living spaces - it's not a prerequisite as i do understand we all have busy lives and varying schedules. The idea of a home rather than a house has always appealed to me:) Preference for residences next to or at walking distances from bus/train stations and supermarkets etc.
Hi! I'm a 23 year old South African but living in the U.K. I am living in Brisbane and working full time in hospitality so not home all the time but looking for somewhere I can relax in my free time. Looking for a private room. I'm very bubbly and out going person, I enjoy my glass of wine but equally love the sofa and TV!
I am a 20 year old physiotherapy student and I work part-time as a barista at local Stellarossa. Some hobbies of mine include training at the gym, being active outdoors and playing piano, but most of the time I am at uni, working or spending time with my partner. I am tidy by nature and will definitely chip in with my share of house work. I love to socialise over a few drinks or a good coffee but generally will keep to myself. Please feel free to contact me if you feel I would be a good fit in your home :)
Hey! I’m 24 from England! I’ve been working full time in Brisbane since October, my current lease is until 12 March as my flatemate is moving out. Either look to renew lease with someone who has furniture or Looking for somewhere else close to public transport as I don’t have a car. I’ll be working up until October 2019. I’m pretty laid back, clean up after myself and like to keep things nice. I’m pretty sociable and enjoy going out for dinner and for drinks but I also love a bit of me time. Enjoy sports events, trivia nights oh and live music/gigs but most of the time you’ll find me with Netflix. I guess I also try to keep fit and active by going to gym but that’s a on going battle. Other than that I’m pretty relaxed! Feel free to drop me a message and ask any other questions. I’m looking around New farm, Milton, West End, New Market area but open to suggestions.
•Very clean and tidy-expect the same from my housemate •Respectful to others •Own 1 cat and foster another for rescue Been living by myself for past 3 years and ready to share with one other. Full time work as a Practice Manager M-F I enjoy socialising and chilling in front of Netflix
I am a student at UQ studying Health Sciences (Nutrition) this year and am also learning Japanese part-time. The best way to explain me would probably be an introvert, but not one in the common sense. I'm a non-drinker so I'm not really one for throwing wild parties, getting drunk or making a ruckus at night. I'm quite empathetic of those around me, that means not making much noise and being out of the other flatmates way as much as possible. Despite being introverted I am quite sociable when I want to be, I'm weird in some ways, funny in others and I like to dance, watch movies, watch sport (AFL, yes I'm from Melbourne what do you expect, NBA and Cricket if theres a BBQ going on) and play sport/video games (I have a PS4, a main PC, and a switch) so if you have interests in either or anyone of these things, chances are we will get along quite well. I am definitely fine with dogs and cats as I grew up around both, just warning though as I give mean belly scratches so they might end up loving me more than you. What I'm looking for: A nice place that is around Kenmore, Indooroopilly or St Lucia which as long as it has a bed and maybe a desk(I can get one myself so not all flustered with it to be honest). I expect the people living there to be respectful of me as I am of them and if so, we will get along swimmingly. I would also like to add that I'm moving in from Sydney so the place has to be available from mid to late February. Hope to hear back from some of you soon.
Gemma and I are friends who are moving to July in Europe so are looking for somewhere cheap and easy to move into. We don’t have a lot of stuff as we are preparing to move, we are quiet and work in hospitality so I work from 11-8 and Gemma works roughly those hours also with a few late nights a week, we currently share a room at the moment and everything works perfectly with our other house mates but unfortunately they are moving. We are both tidy and often go away on weekends so it would be like we aren’t even there! Both of us are GF so you never have to worry about us eating your food either !
Hi, this is Kash and I'm Product designer (UI /UX ) from Sydney moving to Brisbane for work. I do not have many friends in but I'm very easy going and love to meet new people. I'm very clean, like to keep fit and go out with mates for few drinks on the weekend.
Hello, I'm Laura! I'm looking to move in early Feb. I enjoy cooking, hiking, beach trips and reading. I tutor at UQ and am in my second year of a PhD in psychology. I'm tidy and respectful. I'm looking to live with one to three other people in a friendly, peaceful home - ideally with at least one other female for some sister solidarity :) I enjoy my own space but am also looking to have good chats and learn from each other.
Hi, I'm looking a 20-year-old exchange student from England looking for a place to stay whilst I'm studying in Brisbane. I will be living in Brisbane from February to late June/early July. I am a very relaxed and laid back person and I get along with almost anyone. I enjoy sailing, scuba diving, skiing and mountaineering in my spare time.
I’m looking for a place to move into. I am currently working within customer service Monday-Friday. I like to socialize but also enjoy my own space and appreciate that others would too. I’m clean and respectful of others. I love pets, I don’t have one, so I wouldn’t mind sharing a house with one 😀 Looking for a room for approximately 6 months to start, but possibly longer. I also have a little car so would prefer a place that has a car spot or street car parking. Looking forward to meeting some new people. Thanks guys!
I'm a warm, easy-going gal who is looking for a place to move in to in the nest few weeks - Ideally before February. I currently live in Upper Mount Gravatt, but my work is moving to the north side (Hendra) around April, so I'd like to find a place close enough to the new office before the big move. I'm a bit of a creative mind, love a good binge watch, and don't mind a drink. I work full time at the moment so I'm always looking for some spare time for my hobbies and other passions, and somebody to hang out with after a long day. Preferably, I'd like to move into a place with other women and a max of two housemates as that is what I am most comfortable with at this time. I am available to move in at any time with short notice. I am looking for places that have easy access to train-lines or busses that could get me to the city so I can still get to work before the office move, and also looking for unfurnished rooms. I do currently work 9-6 during the week. Please only message me during these hours as my work requiries me to be on the phone. I am available to message or call at any time during the weekend, and please ask if you'd like my email or facebook.
I am friendly and down to earth, I bring many plants and a very friendly and loveable 5kg dog, Bambi! Looking for a larger room with no built in as I have a large wardrobe unit and King size bed. I work full time in the CBD. Also have a lot of other furnishings if required otherwise can be put into storage (couple of outside couches, TV, PlayStation, futon, fridge and washing machine). Don't hesitate to contact me if Bambi and I sound like we could be a good fit for your household🐕
Hi I'm Sarah, a full time Marketing Manager who loves to keep active and prefers to spend the weekends out socialising and enjoying the Brisbane lifestyle – whether it be trying a new café/restaurant or going to the markets to grab fresh produce. Very respectful and quiet, as I’m hardly home… but I’m sociable and always up for sharing a meal and wine together whilst watching Bachie! Looking for a place around Teneriffe/Hamilton that is a homely haven to relax after a long work week. Would prefer my own bathroom (I'm a girl - lots of stuff! haha). I take pride in keeping a very tidy and clean house – so looking for the same in a roommate who will also be a non smoker, respectful of other people and their property and keep a clean house.
Hi I’m Kali and I’m looking to start my life as an adult out of as I’m starting uni Although my room may be a floordrobe around exam time, the cleanliness of communal areas is always maintained, and I have experience with share house standards. I can make just about anyone laugh, and therefore a friend, and I’m always up for a chat about just about any topic, but alone time is necessary for everyone. Pet and LGBT+ friendly, happy to hear from you!
I'm an international student flying to 'Straya on 11th Feb. I'm starting my Bachelors at Griffith University, hence looking for a place to stay. I'd mostly be staying outside at library/uni premises to study or be in my room. Even though I'm not really the 'partying type', I do enjoy occasional Netflix or hang-out. I'm neat and I don't smoke or drink or have any pets.
Originally from Wales, UK. Moved to Oz over 5 years ago. Moving interstate from Dubbo NSW to the Brisbane area. I will have little furniture so would be nice to find something furnished, however i can organise my own bed and furnishings if needs be. Unfortunately i won't be walking in to a job when i move, so it's a little tricky to get work until i am actually living in the area, HOWEVER please do not let this put you off as I will be able to support myself and to pay the rent until i do get employment. I have 1 female desexed Husky called Xena. She is very friendly with people but takes a while to warm to other dogs. I rescued her from a shelter so i am not sure of her history. She is house trained. I can have a good time when the mood suits, but i also respect everyone's privacy and hope you would do the same. I am social and enjoy hanging out with other like minded people. I can be spontaneous! Would be great to have a good group in a house where we can grow to be mates instead of just sharing a home. The odd adventure away together or night out etc.
