Hi, we are friends (not a couple) from Bundaberg who are looking for a 2 bedroom place in Brisbane. Romy is 17 (18 in August) and will be starting at Griffith Uni this year to study Bachelor of law. Jack is 17 (18 in May) and is getting a work transfer to Brisbane for this year and hopes to study at Uni next year. We are looking for a place near Griffith or close to public transport to get to Uni. Romy has a little dog but if pets are not allowed that's ok, the dog can stay with her parents in Bundaberg. We will respect your place and keep it clean & tidy.
I'm very social (but know how to respect boundaries and personal space) and would love to develop a good relationship with any flatmates! I think of myself as quite easy going, and I love exercise, but I think the main factor here is that I AM CLEAN. Working well together is a major plus. As someone who is a recent high school graduate and is moving out for the first time, I know this is a completely new way of life for me and am willing to adapt too.
We are a quiet couple who work full time and are easy going and easy to live with. I am from Brisbane, Damian is from NZ. We are both non-smokers, and have no pets.
Really easy going, active and friendly. Looking for people around my age. Enjoy heading out hanging with friends. Full Time Broker have been in my current position for over a year. Would prefer my own bathroom too and have a king bed that needs to fit! :) Would love to hear from you if i sound suitable:)
My name is Roberto, I am 19 (turning 20 this November). This yeah I will begin to study engineering at the University of Queensland, therefore I am looking for a room near St Lucia to stay (preferably no more than $180 per week and with unlimited internet included). I moved from Italy 3 years ago and I graduated with an OP 3 in 2015. I am good to organize things in time, listen to the duties that are charged on me. Polite, reliable and kind with people around me. I don’t smoke and I am not a party guy and I prefer to live with people who don’t mess up the house with parties or drugs.
Hi. I am looking for a room around the south-west Brisbane area for myself and my dog. I am employed full time, reliable, tidy and I love to cook. I also have boxing classes most weekday nights so not usually home until around 6. I'm outgoing and like socialise and have a few drinks on the weekends. I do also like my own space and alone time. I have a 9 year old Maltese Shitzu, she is house trained and not very active but I do take her out for walks most nights during the week.
I'm a mature & easy going person, whose many years of experience in hospitality (in my opinion) have helped me become an adaptable, friendly & accepting housemate. I am also a professional housesitter, so am very respectful of people's property, time & space. Outside of the home, I keep busy & entertain my friends at 'their' houses or cafes around the corner, but I like my home to be a comfy & quiet place to relax & recharge :) I enjoy playing sport (have been chasing a round ball for approx 15 years!?), & am training to be a firefighter in the QFES. I am an experienced barista too, so if my future housemate wants to purchase or has a commercial espresso machine, I can whip you up a very decent cup 👍
Ill be moving to Brisbane for my postgrad in UQ in Feb 13. Im an easy person to live with as im pretty adaptive to any living environment, carefree and love outdoor activities. im a pretty tidy person but dont worry no OCD =) Making friends is never a problem i enjoy baking and cooking during my free time and definitely movies. definitely looking for amazing cool housemates to live with and hang out with while im in brissy for the next 2 year.
hey !!! my name is mujtaba but people call me "muj".n about me , laid back kind a person at the same time creative, ambitious, motivator and always up for laugh's. Fitness conscious person (gym, swimming, etc ) whatever floats my fitness boat!
22 years old, easygoing and fun person who works full time. I'm looking to move closer into Brisbane. I'm a respectful housemate, very clean and tidy, who knows how to have a good time but also enjoys a night in. Independent person looking for a private room, but still wants to live in a friendly place, not just share the same roof. Looking to move as soon as possible for at least a 6 month stay :)
Hi, I'm Stacey, 23 and working full-time and soon to be studying part-time in the city. I am pretty quiet to live with and will mostly keep to myself. Looking for something close to the city, preferably close to public transport. I don't have any pets, don't smoke and go out if I want to party. I have a car so some sort of parking is necessary (even if it is street). Flexible with move-in timing. Ideally looking for own bathroom and a smaller number of roommates. If there is anything you want to know, please don't hesitate to contact me. Please don't call, I check this site each night so if you message I will see your listing. Thanks :)
Moved from Port Douglas and currently staying on the Gold Coast. I worked as a Chef in Nautilus Restaurant for over a year. I love cooking and most forms of media entertainment. This year I will be studying a Diploma of Engineering at Griffith College.
Hiya, my name is Lachlan. I am mature 18-year-old male and currently looking to move from FNQ (Far North Queensland) area to begin my studies in the police force. My hobbies include cars, catching up with TV shows, fitness/gym and having a laugh with friends. I would be more than happy to participation in all household duties and upholding a neat and tidy household. I don’t mind living with new people of both genders, I’m fairly cruisey and chilled out and I am animal lover. I am a non-smoker and do enjoy a social drink occasionally
Hi I'm Zoey, I'm 28. I'm a freelance Graphic Designer and Photographer (work from home). I live a creative life so I do enjoy my time alone but I also like to be social as well – love a glass of wine...or two! I also like to get out to see live music when I can. I'm friendly and tidy and enjoy reading, music and going to the beach. I'm looking for a nice place in a good location with my own bathroom :) I am currently on a week to week lease so I am flexible with move in dates.
Hello, I am a Czech girl coming to UQ for an exchange semester, I'm open, easy going and social. Looking for a room, preferably in a shared house where I could make new friends (if interested in travelling, even better!)
I'm from California and just graduated from UQ. I'm returning from holiday and would like a temporary place to stay near my work as I look for full time. I'm VERY clean, non smoker, rarely cook and keep to myself. Although I'm not completely anti-social. I enjoy girls nights in but also having a beer with the boys and watching tv. If you'd like to know more, just ask! :)
Hi :) Im 25 work full time as a nurse. Im friendly and easy to get along with. Im respectful of peoples privacy, clean, don't go out and party a lot.
Full time worker seeks new lodgings for himself and his altogether more adorable greyhound, Gretel. I am housetrained, friendly, financially stable and easy to get along with. I also have a house full of furniture which I bring to this equation. Pretty chill about who I live with so long as you're easy enough to get on with and not a serial killer. I've been living and working in Ipswich for a few years, but a work promotion sees me needing to work out of South Brisbane daily. Thus, a move back to the big smoke is called for. Happy to move into an existing place or to set up a new one with one or two others.
We are two Brisbane based university students seeking accommodation as of roughly the 10th of February. We are friendly, clean and relaxed occupants who spend most of our time working part-time and studying. Although we are alwayd down for a chat or a few beers or even the occasionally household taco fiesta night. We own two lovely tame rats who sleep most of the day and are very cuddly and easy to maintain. Rental references are available upon request and we look forward to hearing from you :)
I am a Sports Physiotherapist. I have been the working with the Sri Lanka Cricket team for the last 6 years. I am moving back to Australia to start a job with Tennis Australia in February. I am initially from Melbourne, so thought it would be cool to live with some others for at least the first year I am in Brisbane. I'm pretty laid back, love my gym and fitness, food and coffee, beach and do enjoy a couple of relaxed beers with friends. My job involves about 20 weeks a year of travel, so if you get sick of me at least I won't be around too much :-) Looking for a furnished place with own bathroom and car space.
I work full-time as an accountant in the valley. I'm originally from South Africa but have lived in Aus long enough to be considered true blue. Aside from bean-counting I like playing a bit of music and keeping active (I play indoor soccer and like to do a bit of running/cycling).
We are looking for a large bedroom and some storage space, easy to live with , clean and quiet both of us love riding our bikes 🚴. Holly will away on placement to finish her Uni degree most of the time and I work full time but when we are around just like to relax and cook.
Clean and tidy, I have a clean as you go mentality. I enjoy hanging out with my housemates, and hope to find a place where you're not just people I share a house with but friends I share a home with. I do however spend a bit of time in my room and keep to myself so I'm not going to be in your face but happy to do dinners together (I can't cook, be prepared to eat raw unflavoured food, I apologise in advance) or casual drinks at home on the weekend. I'm a first year accounting student at QUT, so public transport nearby would be fantastic. I do have a car though, so I need undercover parking whether that be a garage or carport. I also have a border collie puppy so we need a pet friendly share house with a large fenced backyard (preferably tall fencing, as I think she's going to be an escape artist). It would actually be fantastic if there was another dog to share with too. A bit more about me... I'm Irish Filipino, grew up in PNG but have been in Brisbane for 18 years so technically I really grew up here! I go to the gym several times a week, I have been recovering from a few injuries lately so it's kept me at home. I'm the type of person that will push myself at the gym but later go home and eat an entire pizza.. I have no will power. If you eat clean, please show me your ways lol I'm single...I don't want to live with couples or single 40+year old men, nor families. Just like-minded people my age that are dog friendly would be amazing :)
I'm a first year Uni student who is easy to get along with, friendly, tidy, open minded, respectful and enjoys being around people. I am committed to work and studies, but I also like to have a good time and live life. I'm looking for a group of people who are around my age to live with, or team up together.
Friends since high school, lived in Brisbane 3yrs, if your house is close to public transport we are interested. If you have a cat we are VERY interested. Not a couple. We are looking for two private rooms
I am an easy going, laid back and am told that I am easy to live with. I like to spend my spare time at the beach or bush walking when I am not working, and a great fan of going out for lunches or dinners with friends. I am sociable and friendly and would like to share with someone who doesn't mind chewing the fat over a glass of wine at home occasionally. I love animals, so would not mind if animals were at the property. I work at UQ in a professional capacity and really enjoy my job. I'm a happy positive person and like to surround myself with like minded people. My ideal would be to find a place with a pool, a space with off road parking and a fairly big room with built ins and own bathroom. I don't have very much furniture, however I do have a desk that I like to work from when home, so would like to have space for that.
Hi, my name is Laura and I am looking for a nice place to reside whilst I carry out my studies at UQ. I have a very friendly personality and I'm a pretty easy going person. I don't have any pets of my own but I am pet friendly. I enjoy movies and playing games, reading, cooking, and going out with friends. I also like staying in and relaxing for a quiet night.
I'm tidy, respectful, hygienic, honest and self reliant. I'm a qualified sparkie with a reliable job, I like 4x4ing and riding moto, I've always lived at home but I'm more then eager to move out and experience living with other people aside from friends and family. I like socializing but can also respect boundaries and can analyse situations quite well. I have no debt meaning I can pay rent on time every time, I don't smoke and am out most weekends. I'm a team player and can get along with almost anyone. I hope to find a genuine group of people with the same attitude as myself. I am keen to move out sooner than said date if need be. Feel free to msg me, I'm pretty easy going.
Hi I'm Ben, 32 years old and returning to study at uni this year, so looking for a room with access to public transport up to $200 per week including bills and will be looking to move around the 21st of Jan however this can be flexible. I am a mature, easy going, quiet but friendly and sociable guy who is a non-smoker and not a big drinker (although will never say no to a quiet beer or two) and just looking for somewhere reasonably quiet and relaxed to chill out and study, with clean and tidy, easy going and friendly housemates. I am an independent stable long term tenant (my last two share houses were two and five year stays) and always pay my rent on time and am respectful of everyone and more than willing to do my share to look after the place. I love to cook, love to travel, love the beach and looking to get into an active lifestyle again now I'll have more free time. If you have any questions or think I'd suit your place don't hesitate to get in touch.
Hi guys, I am a german international student and I have been living in Aus on and off for almost three years now. I am studying a Master in Accounting and am working in Retail and Accounting. Previously I have shared a unit with my partner, but unfortunately he is moving away for work next year. Hence I am on the hunt for my next place. I am fairly easy to live with, quite and clean. My ideal place would be quite and kept clean with people who prefer a nice drink and a chat over a big party too. I am pretty open to the area, as I work in Murarrie and Indro, but go to uni at Griffith Nathan, so I am a bit all over the place anyways. Looking forward to hearing from you. Laura
Hi my name is Alex I am a career changer studying full time to become an enrolled nurse at Southbank Tafe and working part-time at Woolworths doing merchandising. I am a training and lifestyle fanatic with a love for bar training, body weight exercise and street workout (urban style gymnastics). I lead a busy lifestyle studying, working and training.
Hi, I'm Caitlin, moving back to Brisbane from the UK. I will be working on eagle st pier. Im super fun but clean and tidy of course. Am looking for a friendly person or persons to move in with or search for a property together. Message me if your interested
Easy going 22 year old female studying full time (diploma of education art and media studies). Keen to find a place before university starts. In my spare time I enjoy reading, film making, painting, music and playing sport (basketball, surfing etc). I am clean though not OCD tidy. I'd like to live preferably not too close to the city, though I am open to suggestions.
We're a couple. I'm working full time in state government, Alyssa casually in graphic design. We're both studying when we can as well. We have a beautiful 1yo Chihuahua X named Rosie who is the loveliest puppy you will meet. We can't wait to meet you. :)
Hi :-) I am a 19 year old student at QUT looking for a place to call home :-) I am in my final year of study and also work two jobs. I am incredibly financially stable and mature and am looking for a flatmate who also has those traits. I like to keep my space clean and tidy. I work long hours across my jobs and am often out of the house. I enjoy cooking and baking in my spare time. I do not have any pets but would love to get a dog if the circumstances allowed. I enjoy going to the gym and hanging out with friends and want someone who is okay with having friends around the house. Ideally, I am looking for an apartment with air conditioning. If you are looking for the same things, please let me know and we can get apartment hunting together! :-)
Hi everyone! My name is Rebecca, commonly known as Bec. I'm a full time forensic student (yes a little dark). I'm friendly, considerate and tidy. I'd love to get into a house with other students/professionals, friendly and easy going folks who are keen to have the odd glass )or bottle) of wine and a laugh. I enjoy cooking from time to time and I like going out for dinner and socialising on the weekends, catching up with friends and family etc. I'm fairly easy going and enjoy some quiet nights in with a DVD marathon or a Netflix session or board games with friends.
I'm a conscientious housemate and full time student in my last year at UQ, studying film and writing. I've lived in share houses before. Looking for a comfortable room on the south side with a decent internet connection, not too far from a major supermarket or public transport to UQ, and ideally some other 20ish people to chat with or share a movie. I keep things clean and rent paid on time. Don't mind if you smoke, toke, or have pets (as long as you treat them well of course).
Hey guys! We're Annie and Alex. We are both UQ uni students (IT/Econ) with steady part time jobs. We both have extensive student sharehouse experience (we met in a St Lucia sharehouse and lived with 4 other people for over two years). We found that we got along quite well, so when we finished our lease, we decided to start up our own sharehouse! About us: We both love chatting and meeting new people - but we also understand the need for space. We're fairly tidy, responsible, and always ready for socialising. We're both semi casual gamers, so we have a bunch of consoles/games if that's your thing. Otherwise, we're always up for some card/board games and beers. We're social drinkers and non smokers, but smokers are welcome. Alex plays piano and I am currently in love with westworld. We're looking to start a tight knit, sociable student sharehouse. At the moment we have our eye on a beautiful large queenslander in Indro that is 125 pw for each person and comes with private air con in each room. It has a spa and pool which is maintained with some of our rent money (did anyone say bbq/pool party/house party/movie night!?), and huuuuge common areas. Did we mention the rent covers some bills too? Seriously, this place is amazing. The backyard even has a sundial. (Message us for more deets!) The only reason we haven't snapped this up yet is because we want to make sure we have three other roommates willing to share this gem with us before we start signing leases. (Of course, we are also not averse to moving elsewhere if we really click.) You should message us if: You're an easy going, sociable, LGBT friendly individual aged 20-30 who is either studying with part time work, or a full time professional who doesnt mind the occasional party/housemate bonding. It would help if you are a gamer (especially league/csgo/overwatch)/cat lover/pizza connoisseur, and are willing to strike up friendships with your housemates as well! But generally, we get along with everyone. One of our last housemates vomited in a Sombrero during one of our house parties and we loved him anyway.
I'm a mature responsible person with a fantastic sense of humor who loves to laugh. I have full time employment. I have two jack russells who are both extremely well behaved and friendly.
I'm a 26 y.o. female looking for a nice, clean place to share! Preferably a modern 2 - 3 bed apartment / townhouse, with an ensuite of possible. I work full time on the southside, and also part-time at UQ, so am fairly busy but also like to make the time to be sociable. I'm an athlete in BB and weightlifting - so spend a fair amount of my time out training too :) I respect privacy and space but am also keen to get to know my flatmate & become friends - rather than living like strangers! :) Looking to move asap
Not sure what to say here haha, but I guess I'll start with, I am a student working on becoming a Physiotherapist. I would consider myself to be a cheerful, honest and loyal person that is very easy to get along with. Have moved to Brisbane from a country town called Dalby nearly 3 years ago where I used to work at my parents motorbike shop for 10yrs. Moved here so I could be closer to workshops and my sponsors while I was racing cars and so I could blaze my own trail, so to speak. After a lot of unfortunate events and bad luck, I decided to give up on the race car dream and work on my other passion, being health and fitness. Hoping to one day be able to incorporate my personal training qualifications within the realm of Physio so that I can do something to help others and not myself, as I believe helping others is one of the primary keys to happiness. Anyway, that ought to be deep enough for now haha. :P So looking for a place that can accommodate a king size bed, a somewhat large study desk and some free weight gym equipment that I'm happy for all to use. My own bathroom would be nice, however, is not a requirement given the right house mate/s & price. The "right housemates" would also be of similar nature to myself, with a friendly and open minded nature. Cheers :)
Hey! We're a bunch of UQ undergrads and we've recently secured a 4 bedroom house in taringa for next year (and now we're just looking for a 4th housemate!). The house is a 5min walk to the train station (but no train noise), really close to indro shops and a 10 min bus ride to uni. We're not party animals as we're getting close to finishing our degrees (dentistry/engineering/IR), but we're always up for some sneaky drinks and we do like cool dog group, cooking, gymming and donald trump memes. Hit us up if you're interested - our lease starts early feb :)
Hey! I am a medical professional who has recently moved to Brisbane. I love meeting new people, watching live music and playing a variety of sports. I would really enjoy coming back home to a place full of friendly people but I do enjoy my alone time as well!
Hi! My name is Hannah and i'm looking for a room anywhere in Southern Brisbane. I am a nurse working at Lady Cilento Children's Hospital. My current lease is up at the end of February. I am tidy and clean and respectful of peoples privacy. Look forward to hearing from you! Cheers, Hannah :)
Reid and I are friendly, outgoing, adventurous people who are very easy going. We both work - Reid in design and Jess in Hospitality. Reid is American and Jess is Australian and both went to uni in the US. We are looking to make friends, meet new people, try new things while we are living in Brisbane. We are both clean, healthy, respectful, non-smokers who enjoy having fun but also enjoy our personal time alone. Please contact us if you are looking for 2 fun and reliable roommates!
Looking for a place with my sister. We are both very easy going and not the type to seek or cause drama. We just want a nice place to come home to and chill. Both respectful and clean.
First year Uni student studying at Griffith (South Bank Campus), looking for a friendly group of people to live aside within the surrounding area of my University. Last year i worked full time during my gap year. I am neat and can keep to myself but am always up for chat, in my spare time I like art and am a bit of a film buff. Currently i only have a part-time position however i am reliable and will experience no difficulties with payments. Hoping for something long term, minimum 6 months. Bonus if all bills are included in rent.

Hey, My name is Jasmine and I'm a 26 year old, fifth year law student. I'm pretty relaxed and out going which confuses people when I say that I study law full time and I work part time. I do study a lot but in my free time I play tennis, sing and play the cello, go to dance class, and hang out with friends. I'm looking to live in a responsible, clean and mature household with people who have similar interests to me, broadly speaking. It would be nice to live with other active people who wouldn't mind hanging out and conversing over a drink now and then. I'm not really a fan of pets or smoking and I am not a vegetarian. If this all sounds intriguing send me a message and we can go from there. Jasmine
