Hello fellow flatmates! I've recently moved to Australia, and I'm looking for a nice place to live and awesome people to share the place with) As you can imagine, at my age I'm not a party animal, I'm clean, tidy, do my dishes, don't make mess or noise. Looking for people alike to enjoy living!
I don't have kids, the picture is just my nephew and I hanging out. I'm easy going and can hold conversation, enjoy the gym and getting outdoors. I also like to kick back and watch movies and documentaries as well. I have a few hobbies that keep me busy as well as catching up with friends. I currently work a fly in fly out roster and am studying to change careers. I keep my belongings in good order and like to live in a clean house. I do drink occasionally and am a smoker sometimes, never indoors though. I'm not too particular on who I live with so long as they're good people. I do need a secure area to park my motorbike and to house some things, a lock up garage would be ideal. My best contact is to message me as I am unable to be contacted by phone when I am away at work. I'm hoping to move in to somewhere early January, and would even be interested in teaming up with the right people to find a place as an option as well. Cheers
Hi, I'm Nana I'm from Japan n 21 years old. I've been here for 8 months on Working Holiday. I'm friendly tidy n responsibility. I like to play sports, go out, go to the beach n talk with people. I would like to get along with flatmates.
Hey! We're a bunch of UQ undergrads who are looking for a 4th person to live with next year, close to uni and public transport. We don't party too much (getting close to finishing our degrees so studying takes up most of our lives) but we're always up for some sneaky drinks and we do like the bachelorette (rip courtney) and cool dog group and gymming and donald trump memes. Between the three of us, we already have plenty of the furniture a house needs (from previous sharehouses), but we'll always welcome any fab decor additions such as nice fake plants or funky rugs, but yes hit us up if you're interested! We would prefer to move after new years, but we're all really flexible and we can always sort something that'll suit everyone :)
I study maths at UQ and I'm a pretty social person - I enjoy going to the beach and going out, and I also love chilling and watching netflix. I also can respect privacy and value time alone as well as keeping my room and house clean. I'm looking for a place with fun people who can be respectful but are also keen to hang out and/or have drinks on the occasion
Hi, My name is Caitlyn and I work in the city as a Pharmacy Technician. I'm 22 and am currently working full time while I study online. My current lease is ending and I need a place to live while I work out my next move. Because of this I'm not sure how long I'll be in brisbane but I will have at LEAST a months notice before I leave so I can guaruntee you'll have a lot of notice before I leave. I've been living in shared accommodation for over 4 years and I've never had any bad experiences. I've been really lucky and I've always gotten along with the people i move in with really well. I'm fairly easygoing and I love meeting new peole. I'm happy to provide personal or professional references for you if it would make you feel more comfortable. I love a good wine and chat after a long day but i'm a fairly quiet person. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Hoping to hear from you soon, Caitlyn Nester
Originally from the Sunshine coast. Currently studying Bachelor of Music at Griffith Conservatorium and work part time at a pizza shop. Love live music, photography and good food. Clean, friendly and definitely up for a chat in the kitchen
Hi there, I am a super clean 26 year old male. I work full time in an office job in the Valley. I am looking for a car park and my own bathroom. I can be both sociable and quiet (whatever suits ;). Happy to share a place with anyone else in their 20's or early 30's.
Moving to Brisbane or surrounds in early March from Tassie. I am very easy going, hard working and organised. I spend most of my time working, socialising or at the gym/keeping fit and spend very little time at home. I love to travel and often plan to go on adventures on my days off, love to meet new people and try new things. As a housemate, I am extremely respectful of personal space, being neat, tidy and reliable. I have a few friends in Brisbane, but am excited to make more and hoping to find either one or two awesome housemates who share the same interests as me! I am certainly not a party animal, but do love a social drink and love to cook!
I am looking for: + A room, ideally with its own bathroom or ensuite + Room for a study - could be an extra room or else a bedroom big enough to fit a desk + Car Park + Internet included I am a clean and quiet professional female. I will only be in Brisbane part time, as my permanent residence is up north. I am looking to establish a base in Brisbane in a clean, tidy, quiet and modern household. Contact me if you have anything suitable. Flexible on start date and would ideally like a shorter term lease to start (3 - 6 months)
Hello Everyone, I'm looking place to live. Very tidy, friendly & busy with my routines... First preference is two or three bedroom apartment or unit or a house to live. (Furnished or Unfurnished) Second can have two bedrooms in a same place to share with other housemates. (Furnished) In any of above cases, bills should be included as my maximum budget is not more than $170/week altogether. I do have my car so parking is a plus point for. In my free time, I normally watch Netflix and travel around.. Moving date before 25 December... Please contact with details & keep in mind above requirements before contacting us. Thank you so much.. :)
Hi there! My name is Ramez (or Mez for short) and I'm a recently graduated intern Doctor starting work in 2017. As a housemate, I am a responsible, clean and considerate person; I understand the value of common courtesy that every flatmate deserves! I enjoy trying to balance my love for food (mainly eating, but also cooking) with fitness through outdoor sports, activities and gym. Having said that, who doesn't love binge watching a season or three of TV shows?
Hey I'm Markos and I am on the hunt for a new home as my current housemate is leaving me for overseas. I work full time as a service engineer which involves lots of travel around Queensland during the week but also an occasional day working from home. I'm quite easy going, friendly and like to keep tidy especially in common areas. I'm hoping to find a new housemate that is the same
"She's sweet. Funny. A good roommate." - Jemima, 2014* "She's not a psychopath" - Arnold, 2013* "Looks like it's going to rain. Better bring your washing in" - Mum, 2016* *All quotes are true, names have been changed, but the people are real, although they may or may not have said these things loosely during off the record conversations. Happy to pay up to $250 dollar bills a week for: A private room of my own in a nice relatively new or renovated place with a yard/area appropriate for playing fetch. Ideally, I'd prefer my own bathroom. Happy to share a bathroom if it's with one other clean person. Sorry, but this gal is too old to share a bathroom with 2+ people or a house with 4+. Learn a bit more about me below. And, ya know, hit me back, just to chat, truly yours, your biggest fan, this is(n't) Stan. What makes me great to live with? Well... I rinse out the chux when I've finished cleaning the dishes that I haven't left sitting on the sink for 1+ days. I love cooking for others and sitting down to a nice meal with glass of red. Sometimes the glass of red is the nice meal. Don't judge. I believe pretty firmly that garlic bread is life. Don't worry, I'm not a total slob-kebob. I meal prep, eat relatively clean and go to the gym in the hopes that someday I will have that #summerbod everyone keeps going on about. Plus it supposedly prolongs life. Fun fact: I'm a decent human who understands the concept of personal space so won't go looking through your room/things. Funner fact: This is probably because I'm too lazy and would much rather watch Netflix. Funniest fact: Funner isn't a word. Saving the best bit for last - I have a sidekick by the name of Duke Nukem; a nearly 2 yr old teeny 3kg mini fox x pinscher rescue pup who is a ball of energy one moment and passed out the next. He's quiet, but has barked at the wind (or ghosts) once or twice. He can also hop 3-4 feet in the air, generally because he's curious to see what's on your dinner plate on the table. He means well and I'm sure you'll love him nearly as much as he'll love you. We're a rad pair looking for equally, if not more so, rad people to make a home with in the new year. I know I said 2016 was gonna be my year, but I've got a reeeeeally good feeling about 2017. What makes you so great to live with? Well... I'm hoping you're a positive / emotionally stable person, who prides yourself on paying bills before they're due, are kind and laid back 90% of the time, are down for a good laugh and great conversation, and if you eat my food you really mean it when you say you'll replace it. Bonus points if you've got a pooch of your own who is open to making a new puppy pal. If ever you're out of town, I'm happy to feed and love the little puppa, and I hope if ever I'm out of town, you'll do the same :)
Looking for a place to call my home. I'm quiet, easy going and keep to myself, although I don't mind an occasional drink on the weekend. I like to listen to music, but I have headphones if its too loud. If you would like to live with me please let me know.

I'm an international student from India and have been living in Adelaide for the past three years. I will be moving to Brisbane in February 2017 for my postgraduate study at UQ. I'm looking for friendly and easy going people to share a house with. I'm fun-loving, interactive and easy to live with.I also enjoy having some quiet me time from time to time.
I am an easy going and clean person to live with. Happy to have my own space or socialized. I understand that after a long day at work you might want to be left alone. I work full time, non smoker and enjoy an occasional drink or two. Looking to get somewhere to move in mid January. The budget is negotiable depending on the location and also if I could have a covered parking for my car. I wouldn't mind an unfurnished or furnished place as I have items in storage that I could use if the place is unfurnished or I am more than willing to bring in some furniture or appliance from my storage if required.
I am from Barcelona and love to sit on a terrace, have chats with colleagues with a glass of wine or a bitter ale. I expect to have a rather close relationship with my housemates. I am quite relaxed in most aspects of life (except with coffee and olive oil) and appreciate respect for diversity in general. If I had money I would do some lindy hop courses. If I could go back in time I would have learnt to play acordeon. I have medierranean roots, so I love exaggeration and drama, as much as I love laughing at everything in life. I arrive the 18th January to Brisbane. I would be interested in an initially two weeks rent, and then possibly a permanent location.

I'm a 24 year old Doctor moving up from Tassie to Brisbane for a year! I'm in Brisbane for this weekend Fri-Sun and keen to meet up I'm looking for a couple of housemates that go along with my easy-going lifestyle and I can come home to have a drink after work with. I am an active gym goer, can cook and I'm clean without being a neat freak. I'm keen to share things as a house or to have a weekend out travelling / out for some drinks. Very interested in Teaming Up and finding a modern apartment or house near to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, non smokers preferred. Feel free to send me a message
Hey my name Zac sparrow I'm 24 and a full time plasterer. I'm looking for a room somewhere around Brisbane would prefer a house with a couple guys rather than an apartment but will have a look at anything. I don't mind a bit of banter and a beer on the weekend, I'm pretty easy going will get along with just about anyone. Swing us a message if you want to know anything or you think I'd suit your place
Hey :) My names Vanessa, I'm 20 years old and currently working at woolworths. I am also a dancer and just finished my studies in the city. Dance is my passion and the arts really. I love going to the beach and listening to music, gym, traveling, reading books, eating food... I am a vegan and would love to live with people that don't mind✌🏼️🌿😋 I also love to go out with friends and have a couple of drinks. I'm easy going and always keen to hangout with my housemates, but I completely respect everyone's privacy and independence :) I'm happy to help clean up around the house and do my part. That's no problem at all. I'm keen to move out by January 23rd as that's when my lease ends for the house I currently live in. Would love somewhere near or in Camp Hill so it's close to work😊
Recently turned 19, I work 30 hours a week - looking to increase this to 40 hours. I'm a pretty chill person, happy to share my food and pretty much anything else i own - i understand if your not happy to do the same :) I like to keep all common areas tidy however my room will most likely be a bit messy. This will be my second time living out of home, I am respectful of your privacy and requirements such as noise restrictions and personal space. I'm very sociable and i do like to go out often, I'm also not one to shy away from a few drinks here and there - if I'm being completely honest i will fit more in a household with people who enjoy working hard during the week and like to relax with a few drinks on weekeds- or at least poeple who dont mind that i like to
Hey! Firstly, I'm not needing to move until January. I currently work fulltime at Mount Coot-tha and I've been living in Taringa for the past 3 years. I enjoy eating out, going out, having a drink after work, music festivals and going for runs along the river - or just staying in and binge watching netflix. I'd need to move early January, ideally looking to stay around Toowong/Taringa (train line / bus line) - but pretty flexible. I have my own communal appliances and furniture to bring with me if needed. Shoot me a message if you would be interested in starting a new place or if you need a spot filled and we can grab a coffee - Thanks!
Student looking for a quiet place. Good at: paying bills on time, cleaning up after myself, budgeting. Likes: Cats, dogs, exercising, archery, food, games, sleep. Can at maximum pay up to 150 pw rent but would prefer staying under that (wouldn't we all?) Note: Current lease runs out 6/1/17 and I am going to UQ @ St. Lucia.
My English name is Louisa, a postgraduate student studying at University of Queensland. Rina is just transliteration of name. I am a clean and tidy girl, easygoing and good at cooking. interested in draw, reading and cooking. I want to find a brick house where has air-condition not the wood house. Sharing apartment with one or two people is my preferred choice. especially the new and furnitured apartment. and the bedroom's window should not be too small. Hope have my own bathroom. If I really really like the room, I don't mind move in immediately or later some days.
Easy going mature lady (non-smoker) seeking furnished room in Bne around Yeronga, Annerley, East Brisbane areas. I prefer an en-suite or own-use bathroom although this is not a killer. I will need accommodation from beginning of January. I respect peoples' need for space and generally keep to myself, but I also enjoy a glass of red and a great conversation - so it would be great to find like minded flatties (male or female). I will need to be within easy walking distance of train and bus routes as I will not have a vehicle initially. Also very much hoping to find somewhere with reasonable access to a park for runs/walks. I am studying (USQ) but will also be job seeking (please note that I am self supported financially).
Hi there my name is Bettina but everyone calls me Betty. I'm a Full time professional that works in the CBD. Very social person so if I'm not at home I'm out with friends. Looking for a place close to the city so it's easy to travel to work. I am looking for preferably someone who doesn't have a car as I would need the car space or even look at a place that has off street parking. Im clean and tidy and like to keep things organised. Im looking to flat with someone who is out going and doesn't mind having a few drinks and relaxing either during the week or on the weekends. :)
Hey I'm Ella, I'm currently 18 years old, studying full time (IT) and working part-time/casual (Boost Juice) I'm super friendly but overall pretty quiet. I'm up for anything and love helping others. I am very tidy and respectful. I love animals, health, computers and having fun! I currently live with my 2 aunties and only just moved to Brisbane in July.
My name is Grant. I am a 48year old. I am a fairly quiet & reserved type of person. I am friendly & respectful of others but I do tend to keep to myself. I am neat and tidy, and I do clean up after myself. I work full time in South Brisbane. I don't drink, I don't smoke and I don't party or do drugs of any kind. I am fairly fit because I do a lot of walking and skating (roller & skateboard). I try and get to the skating rink at least twice a week.......more if I am able :) BTW I am gay if that matters at all. I am looking for a studio, granny flat or one bedroom flat preferably within 10kms of the city with easy access to public transport (train & bus). I don't have any furniture so a furnished place would be nice. I would also need internet (preferably wifi) because I spend a lot of time online. Air-conditioning is nice as well. The last couple of places that I have rented have had everything (power, wifi etc.) included in the rent & even though it probably costs a little more I don't mind cause it's easier. If you have a place that you think would suit me then please don't hesitate to contact me.
Hi there! I'm a Graduate medical student from the University of Sydney, starting work as a doctor in 2017 as an intern at Canberra Hospital. Non-smoker, no pets, LGBTQI friendly, generally laid back sort of bloke who loves animals, music and impromptu kitchen karaoke.
I'm a communications professional currently working in the city, looking for a self-contained place for myself and my mature and very timid cat, so a pet friendly granny flat or studio with a sunny windowsill would be perfect. I'm currently in the process of selling my 3 bedroom house in Sunnybank Hills, and hoping to rent for a year or two while I focus on career. The house is expected to sell very quickly, however I will keep any prospective landlord in the loop. I have lived happily on my own for the last several years, and rarely have friends over, preferring instead to go out, as I do love my privacy. Having said that, I highly value good neighbours. I adore gardening, and will find this the biggest challenge as I downsize (happy to help out with yours or point me towards a community garden). I have been a landlord on flatmates.com and been contacted by many people with no profile details, references, or comprehensive explanation of what they are looking for or why my property suits them - so I invite you to ask me as much as you need to know to ensure we are going to be a good fit. My cat comes with vet reports (medical and behavioural) and I can organise references from pet sitters and catteries. As I have been a homeowner for the last 10 years please let me know what kind of references you expect from me.
At this time I have found a place. I am just sorting out details. I'm a quiet person who likes puzzles, reading and studying. I'm a huge pop culture nerd. I am a person who loves to hang out with friends and I make friends quickly so feel free to hang out with me or if you are a person who likes company (parties or chill outs) I'm cool. I'm a full time student and a part-time nanny.
Neat and tidy individual, very easy going, affable. I like to do severe work, have a chat and also keep to myself - a social all rounder. I always buy cheese, olives, prosciutto, sourdough bread, etc. so if you like antipasto type food, we'll definitely be friends. Have my own furniture if needed, otherwise, I don't mind if the place is furnished. Cheers
Hi! I'm 22, single, work full time in an office, smoke, drink & have a cat who thinks he's a people. I'm looking for a share-house/some people to start a share-house with. I'm fairly outgoing and not afraid to have the occasional chat/drink, but also completely respectful of personal space/boundaries. During the week I'm usually pretty boring and binge watch Netflix and paint/draw and keep to myself. However, I do like to get riggity riggity rekt most weekends, so I'm either looking for someone to find a place with or somewhere that doesn't mind that mentality and lifestyle (I'm not going to be throwing ragers, but will want to have a couple of mates over occasionally). Clean and tidy communal areas are important to me, personal rooms are your own business - care factor is zero for that. If you want to meet to see if we don't hate each other, just swing me a message 8)
Hey guys my name is Simon Im 34 and i am looking for a place preferably with a yard to share for me and my 7yr old rescue greyhound Enzo. I am a full time shift worker in the railway and I'm easy going and friendly, Enzo is an outdoor dog he's very laid back, likes to lounge around all day and is well behaved he very rarely barks at anything and is great with other people and other dogs (not a fan of cats though). looking to share with fun, social, easy going people who like animals. Best locations is anything really just reasonably close to a train station and not too far from the city is preferred. I have to move out by the 15th of Jan next year so looking at anything from about the 8th of Jan as a move date. Thanks for reading ☺. Look forward to hearing from you
I am a 22 yr old female currently working full time and studying law/business at UQ. I love dogs. In any spare time I have, I enjoy watching Netflix, cooking/baking and catching up with friends. I like having a clean kitchen, and I tidy up after myself in common areas. I am a somewhat quiet roommate but I enjoy having a chat or dinner with others in the house. I would be comfortable living with anyone. My current lease ends 12 January, and I am looking to secure a new place before then for at least 6 months. Would prefer an unfurnished room in a furnished house, as I have my own bed and desk, but I am flexible. Built in wardrobe is a must.
Hi, I'm a full time student and am also working part time. I'm quiet and clean and although I am a social person, I enjoy my own space. It's important to me that communal areas remain clean and that dishes are done straight away. I feel like this just makes life easier for everyone. I also feel like it's important to turn lights off and not leave things on when they're not in use. I'm looking to move out with like minded people and am only moving due to my housemate needing to convert my room into a home office. I don't have any pets but I don't mind if you do, I love animals. I'm a positive person and would love to live with positive people.
Hey lovely humans! My name is Basil, I'm an arts student at UQ majoring in philosophy. I also work as a kitchen gremlin at a cafe. Generally you'll find me eating a lot of food, laughing, dancing around to shitty pop music, reading or napping on the nearest patch of grass available. As a housemate I'm pretty chill, definitely won't question why you're sitting on the kitchen counter staring at the ceiling fan while eating a tub of icecream with a fork at 4am (in fact I'll probably join you). I'd love to live in a transgender + queer friendly household, as I am a nonbinary person (I don't identify as a man or a woman) and also queer! Thank you <3<3
Hello! My name is Alex. I am a young professional from Edinburgh, Scotland. I am an outgoing person who enjoys sport, travelling and cooking. I am looking for a long-term flatshare or houseshare arrangement within travelling distance of the CBD and my office in Milton.
Hello, everyone! I am a 32 years old Brazilian studying International Trade and currently working at a Mantra hotel. I am preferably looking for a private room with easy access to the city, as I study on Adelaide St. I am a very quiet and tidy person, that likes to cook my own meals, listen to music and read. :) Please, be in touch if you think you can help me. Thanks!
Hi, I'm Kat. I'm 30 and own a stretch limousine company and 2 start up businesses. I work from home mostly but may look at getting an office soon in the city. I'm looking for a place for 6 months possibly longer to home me and my two very small Chihuahua's who stay with me part time. They are very tiny, very friendly and very clean. They don't bark and have their own beds and cage area they live in when I'm not at home. I'm not a party girl as my focus is my work currently but I don't mind being social and active on weekends and getting out of the house with the dogs. If you are a pet lover and have space for us let me know! Happy to work on a trial basis. :)
Hi! I'm a full time graphic designer + photographer in a lifestyle PR/marketing company. Relaxed, easygoing and fairly quiet to live with. I'm quiet during the week and spend weekends with friends, at the markets, going home to visit family and photographing. Never opposed to a cheeseboard and wine and will happily sit down for a chat at the end of the day. Would love to find a home with some relaxed, friendly, good-humoured housemates. Huge animal lover so have no issue living with pets. [ preferably looking for somewhere with an ensuite ]
I'm 20 years old and looking for a fun and down to earth housemate who is clean. After living in share houses since 18 years old, and trying to live with cousins, friends and the rest, I've found it increasingly hard to find someone that picks up after themselves. All I ask is that you enjoy a ciggie or beer on the balcony with me, and that you clean up your dishes and space :-) I always have a record spinning at home, love film and a good drink. I often enjoy going out with mates, or chilling out alone in my room. I'm looking to move into a house that has enough space for us, and a small backyard to hang out in. If you feel like we could get along as housemates send me a message as I'm all out of luck :-) Sophia
Hi there, I am looking to rent a place to call home with one other clean and tidy person. I have two cute indoor kittens so you would have to be okay with curious little faces everywhere :) I work full time. Happy to live with students or workers. My party days are over but super happy to socialise with guests. I am not in rush as I want to find the right people/place but would like to move before Christmas. Budget can be flexible.. Would love to hear from you :)
Hi guys, pretty average human here. Work as a physio in Kangaroo point so looking for somewhere handy. Live pretty clean and healthy during the week but always up for a beer and a chat. My mum taught me how to clean up after myself and I've done the share living deal for 10+ years now so I'm a breeze to live with and can get along with anyone.
Hi, So little about myself, I’m originally from Switzerland but lived in the US for over 10 years. Been in Brisbane for 4 years now and will be graduating in July from QUT and then will be working full time. I’m currently working full time so really like to enjoy the weekends by going/hosting some bbqs and also lots of hiking and camping. Im also a great cook and enjoy heading to markets to get my dinners and lunches. I’m really laid back but definitely looking for a cleaner house to move into. I have all my own furniture so not looking for a furnished room, I pretty much also come with a kitchen which if not needed I can store somewhere else. I also have a huge BBQ i would like to take along if you don't already have one and some plants (mostly chilies and herbs). If you think you got a place I'm interested in send me a message and let's grab a drink to see if we all get along well. Looking not for just a place to live but also some friends.
Hi I am moving to Australia from New Zealand in Jan to start a new job located on the South Bank. I am a clean and tidy flatmate that is sociable but independent. Would love to live with similarly minded people or happy to live by myself. I enjoy getting out and doing things, like going to the markets, going bush walking (or not sure how I feel about doing this with snakes) and anything to do with water. I am also a big fan for just chilling out with a book or a magazine. I am a financial reliable flatmate who pays their bills on times, does their weekly cleaning well and is mindful of other peoples schedules. I can speak some Chinese having studied in Taiwan for a year and I am pretty adventurous when it comes to food. I arrive in Australia on the 5th of Jan and I am looking to view so flats over that time. Message me if you have a place that is available.
Hi there! I'm a 27 year old professional, working full time in a real estate agency. Current lease is coming up in April 2017 so looking for a change. I'm very friendly, I tend to keep to myself but also happy to have some social times and general chats of an evening. I like to keep things tidy but I don't go crazy with it. I love animals so if you have pets that's a bonus! Also I'm a bit of a nerd, I love my gaming (video and tabletop), and I read quite a bit, my collection of books just keeps growing!
Hey guys, My name is Dave, and I am a young professional moving down to Brisbane from Cairns for work. I'm starting a new job in mid-January next year and am looking for a place to stay at for a few months to a year. Likes include gymming, salsa dancing and socialising with my roommates. That said, I can respect that you need your own space as well. I'm clean, quiet and considerate of my housemates. If you have any questions, feel free to flick free a message!
We are a young professional couple who have been living with eachother for 2 years. I work or study every day and my partner spends his day off which he usually spends playing golf/ fishing/ surfing. In our down time we get to the gym and wind down with tv and casual drink.
