Hi, I am a masters student from India starting at UQ in Feb 2019. I will be studying Org Psych. Personally, I am usually quiet, tidy, friendly, and like having my own space. I have lived away from home in Hong Kong before, so I am familiar with shared spaces and I enjoy conversation with people from all over the world. I usually like catching up with TV shows, reading, or hanging out with friends over my free time.
Easy going guy, clean and respectful. I keep to myself but like to socialise. Will spend most of my time studying my masters/PhD
Hi my name is Sarah! But my friends call me Cookie. I am 19 and looking for somewhere in South Brisbane to move to before my current lease ends on the 22nd of February. I work part-time in medical reception and will be studying nursing at Griffith this year so during the days I am always busy. I am friendly, easy going and really enjoy having a good laugh. I enjoy keeping active and socialising with friends. I am looking for a room mate who is keen on moving to somewhere in South Brisbane in mid February. Look forward to hearing from you :)))
My name is Rubi but you can call me rubes. I would say that I'm quite a charismatic and fun but chill person to live with. I do enjoy my alone time and tend to keep to myself the majority of the time. I am a tidy and clean person and I like living with people who share the same values in this regard as me. I am reasonable and understanding and I consider myself to be an easy-going person to live with. If you think I fit what you're looking for please do not hesitate to send me a message!
Hi, I'm Maddy and I am a 23 year old nursing student. I also work part-time. I am friendly, very clean and quiet. I am a bit of an introvert so while I am friendly and enjoy hanging out and having a chat I also respect that everyone needs their space. I'm looking for someone, preferably around the same age, who is interetested in finding and renting an apartment or townhouse together. I'm hoping to find something modern/ish and under $400 a week preferably. Not too fussed on the move in date, but the sooner we can find something the better. I'm hoping for somewhere around the Annerley/Yeronga area however if you have your heart set on another suburb that's fine too. I have a spoilt little Tibetan Spaniel x called Louie. Louie is friendly and well behaved and everyone who meets him loves him. I don't mind if you also have a small dog, or maybe a cat, as long as they are friendly and get along with Lou. If this sounds like you, just send me a message and maybe we can meet up over coffee to discuss further.
Hey! I am 20 years old and am a fourth and final year Occupational Therapy student at UQ, looking for a place to live for at least 3 months while I am on placement next semester which begins on the 20th of January. I'm friendly and clean to live with and like to think that I'd make a pretty rad housemate. I'm after a place that is clean, within (hopefully) 30min to UQ via public transport and that has a couple of friendly housemates. Feel free to message if you think your place will work for me!
I am a registered nurse who equally enjoys staying active and a wine or two on the weekend. My sister and I are on the hunt for one or two liikeminded housemates to rent with preferably from late Feb/March onwards... Looking for roommates who are fun and social but also respect my busy shift work lifestyle, no house party's happening here, sorry!!
Hi! My name is Charle, I'm a 22-year-old uni student, studying Microbiology at UQ. I've been living in Australia for 10 years now, and am originally from Europe. I speak English and German fluently. I love animals, but the only one I have is a little pet fish named Nishka. I'm a very chill person - my current favourite thing to do is to knit while watching terrible movies. I am an avid reader, sew clothes occasionally and, due to my degree, have a fascination with diseases. I can be a little eccentric! But I am very friendly, clean, and approachable. My worst quality as a roommate is probably my unpredictable sleep schedule, so you're likely to encounter some kind of goblin version of me at 3am in the kitchen, making hot chocolate. My best quality (confirmed by my past two roommates), is that I stress-bake, the products of which are absolutely shared! I'm looking for a place that has reasonably easy access to UQ and the city. The room should be unfurnished, fit in my queen mattress, a desk, a dresser, and (ideally) a bookshelf. I love relaxing with a bath once a week, so I'm looking for a place with a bathtub and ideally not a super-duper party house, but rather a place with friendly, tidy individuals. I respect privacy but am also down to go to the movies/get ice cream/hang out in general with future roommates! My current lease expires on the 12th of February so ideally, I'm looking for a place that I can move into any time between the 4th-10th of February.
Easy going, clean, reliable and love a good chat. Like good communication, chilled and healthy vibes and housemates that are considerate and can do the basic adulting for respectful and harmonious shared living. I work in natural health, active, love cooking, music and red wine.
Hey ! I am from Switzerland and I'm doing a semester abroad. I have lived in different flatshare so I'm used to have roomates and be respectful and share time with them :) I love to play music, travel, have fun but also deep conversation. I'm easy to live with and very respectful !
I'm rarely home Monday to Friday due to working long hours. I need a quiet place to sleep. On weekends, I'm usually out and about. I'm respectful of others' privacy and time. I would prefer a place that accepts a pet (4kg poodle, very old and quiet) - however, she would only be with me weekends and maybe 1 night a week. I would love somewhere safe to park my car, but also has great public transport options!
I'm 20 years old. I'm from Ecuador and currently doing my third year of marine biology at UQ. I'm into watersports and I brought my kiteboarding equipment with me so I go to the beach (usually Gold Coast or Sandgate) on the weekends whenever I can. On my free time I like listening to music, cooking or just going for a walk. I'm open minded and always keen to meeting new people and learning about their own cultures, their languages and traditions. I am looking for a place either in Brisbane (ideally around UQ) or in Gold Coast.
LOOKING FOR HOME TO MOVE INTO IN 2019 JAN/FEB or later. I will be looking for a home in Brisbane to move into in early 2019 as I begin my psychology degree at UQ at the end of February. I'm currently on the Gold Coast. This is what I'm looking for, let me know if you match 😊: • Walking, biking or under 30min public transport distance to UQ in St Lucia • With a large size room with lots of natural light, and at least big enough for a double bed, bedside table, large desk, mirror, a few wardrobes and storage spaces. • With outdoor area/s that get a decent amount of direct sun all throughout the day. • Close to a gym and supermarket 💪🏼 • With not a bare and limited kitchen • With nearby public transport to and from fortitude valley and the city preferred About me: I'm positive and ambitious, and both a respectful and open person :) I'm very health conscious and make all my own meals which are wholefood plant- based- however I'm really not fussed on what anyone else eats. I love cooking for others 😁💖 I do aerial acrobatics and yoga, love nature and making friends. I'm passionate about eco-sustainability, nutrition, fitness, mental wellness and personal development. 😊😄😁💪🏼💗
Laid back kiwi, mid twenties, love living a healthy lifestyle. I work full time in design and communications. Looking for a place that will feel like a home.
Hi there, I’m Victoria. I’m originally from the UK but have lived in Brisbane for the last 6 years and now call it my home. I currently live alone in West End and enjoy it, but it can be pretty lonely sometimes. I'm looking to live with one other person ideally for a bit of human interaction! I’m a mature and easy going professional working full-time in the City. I love going to the gym, and am a keen runner and swimmer so that gets me out of the house a fair bit. I’m equally happy lounging at home with a book or Netflix though. My party days are primarily behind me and I’m pretty introverted, but am super happy to hang with a housemate watching TV with a glass of wine. I’m a huge animal lover and a vegetarian too. I’m relatively flexible in terms of area, but I definitely would prefer my own bathroom. I just find this easier if I’m living with someone on a similar schedule to me. Look forward to meeting you!
Hello there! Here are a few quick points about me: • I will be working at the University of Queensland as a researcher/postdoc. • I work about 6 days a week • I have lived in shared houses most of my life in both the UK and Germany • Not much of a party animal, more into good wine, good food and an interesting conversation • In terms of hobbies: I like chess and cycling and I plan to start going to the gym in a bit more regular basis. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What I am looking for: • Shared accommodation with one-two more people. • a neat tidy and organized property. • I would prefer to live in a non-smoking property, as it would help with my efforts of quitting smoking. • I love animals, so living with pets is not an issue. • My ideal flatmates would be the kind of people that I could share a glass of wine with, would be easy going, tidy and have sense of humor. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As I am currently in the UK waiting for my visa confirmation, I will be looking for a videocall inspection so I can get a feeling for the property and we can see if we feel we would be a good fit. Thanks for taking the time to read my ad!
22 years old working part time as a waitress and studying a diploma of hospitality. Not home much, always at work or with friends. When I am home I just like to chill out. Wanting somewhere that is okay with friends coming over every now and then. Looking for somewhere closeish to the city but south of the river, pretty open to anywhere really! Wanting to spend from $150-$200 a week!!
I’m a quiet guy who will be moving up to Brisbane from Ballarat to study a masters of clinical philosophy and working every other minute. I enjoy working out, reading and playing with my pup Ellie who is an English Staffie and house trained (we’re a package deal). I have full furnishings for a house so if we need anything I’ve got us covered. What I’m looking for is a like minded, positive group of people who have a bedroom available that doesn’t face onto a busy street and has a secure back yard for Ellie. If you have any questions, ask!
Hi! I'm Emma, 23 years old from Brisbane. Looking for a new place to live with some cool, like-minded people.
Looking for a peaceful retreat to call home. Work part-time and study 1 day a week. A quiet and convenient place would be ideal. I am respectful of property, not a party animal, non-smoker and no pets either.
