Hi people! I'm a 28 year-old uni student at UQ majoring in journalism who is looking for socially like-minded, drama-free housemates around my age. You'll find me to be someone who has their life together where I have clear goals and aspirations while working to achieve them. I'm also a producer and reporter, I do CrossFit and morning runs in my downtime, very passionate, ambitious, hardworking and a total professional but most of all fun to be around over a beer, some buffalo wild wings and a karaoke machine! I'm also well travelled having lived in New York for just over a year. If you think we'd get along nicely, not just as housemates but also potential friends, then swing me a message. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Chris
I'm a professional working full-time and studying part-time at uni so I am very busy and only at home during the evenings. I don't have parties or regular visitors, don't drink or smoke, and respect the privacy of those I live with. I'm very fitness-minded so I'm up early and go to bed early, so I don't keep anyone up at night too. If you are looking for a quiet, tidy, mature and reliable flatmate who values a relaxed and peaceful household and you are offering a flexible period of 4 - 6 months to stay in a furnished room (preferably with own bathroom but I don't mind sharing) then please don't hesitate to contact me. (Please note: I am currently not looking to sign on to a lease/take over a lease, apologies.) Female flatmates preferred. Looking forward to hearing from you. Update: I've been inundated with more than 30 messages (thankyou!) so please bear with me if I take some time to reply.
25 June update: my former mobile phone handset not working. Alternative phone number: 0455508449 I’m a non-smoking, no-pets, no kids, middle-aged and young-at-heart, Canadian/Australian female, tidy, responsible, friendly/sociable yet also respectful of others’ living space. I've lived in a lot of sharehouses in multiple countries and value easy-going, open communication. I'm a long-term Brisbane resident who's relocated back from Melbourne. Have worked professionally in the public and corporate sectors in QLD and overseas - currently on break from my part-time Master of Environment studies. My interests include yoga, swimming, cooking healthy meals, easy cycling/hiking, arthouse films, sustainability and community volunteering. Seeking a non-smoking, pet-free, kid-free household to share with 1 or 2 adults (couples OK). Unfortunately although I love dogs and cats, I'm allergic to both. I am interested in renting for at least 6 months. I have a car so would need either on-street parking or parking spot, if available. Prefer a relatively quiet household but I'm up for friendly chats, sharing an occasional meal/cuppa with housemates or watching TV (e.g. news, docco or The Simpsons). I don’t drink alcohol but am fine with my flatmates having the occasional drink. Move-in date flexible. References available.

Hi I'm Renae :), I've recently moved up to Brisbane, from Melbourne, and am currently living with my sister in Woolloongabba. The lease, however, is up mid-end of July. I currently work in Allied Health at the Mater Hospital in South Brisbane, and have a casual job in Carindale. I have recently completed five years of university and can appreciate the workload that comes along with being a student. I have previously lived in share houses, both living with friends and living with people I hadn't known prior. I am a reliable, considerate, clean, easygoing housemate, who appreciates my own space, but also enjoys socialising. In my spare time I enjoy playing tennis, running, mountain/bush hiking and visiting my little niece and nephew. I am liking the idea of staying on the South side of Brisbane, however am open to the North side, also. I am interested in rooms available within established share houses, or to start a new share house with someone/ multiple people. My preferred lease duration is 6 months. I think I've covered everything, but don't hesitate to ask if there is anything else you'd like to know about me. :).
I'm a pretty down to earth person respectful, clean and will always help out where ever I can. I work full time at a hotel in the city, I don't cook much mostly eat out, I enjoy kicking back for a games night or a beer every now and then but not a party animal. I have a cat called Jerry who is quite old now so sleeps most of the day.
I'm looking for a room with ensuite that will allow my young children to visit and stay one night a week as per arrangements, as I am a recently separated father. I work full time for local government and easy going person who enjoys good company or a game of touch footy, or relaxing with a coffee in hand. I am a tidy clean person who is respectful of other people's space. I love playing and watching sport and keeping fit. Non-smoking clean modern premises preferred. Anywhere on the south side is fine. $200 inclusive of bills.
Recently started work close to Chermside and am thinking of moving out of home finally and moving closer to work. Ideally I'm more interested in the idea of renting an apartment in chermside with someone that I get along with. Little bit about me. I'm 22. Graduated from QUT last year in economics & finance. Then spent 2 months after that backpacking around Europe. Which made me realize I can get along with living in shared spaces really easily, I quite miss it to be honest! I'm neat & tidy for sure. Very chill. Always in an optimistic mood ... Always looking on the bright side. Passionate about Djing and producing music - don't worry though, I have headphones :P. Recently keen on trying out yoga & meditation. Ideally I'd love to get to know and become best mates with whoever I live with and sharing the good times over a few beers.
Hey all, I am a 22 year old working professional seeking another person to find a place together. I am pretty flexible with the location, as I don't mind travelling to work for the right place. I have a beautiful little Beagle dog, who is very sweet and loves a good pat. She's 1 year old, so needs a good yard to run around in. I'm a very sociable person, but enjoy my own space. I work four days a week in retail and study the other day, at a veterinary clinic, so I am out of the house a fair bit. I'm searching for a roommate that is like minded and someone who I get along with. Please send me a message if you'd like to have a chat :)
I'm a quiet, non-smoker, non-drinker, likeable gal pal. I'm up for a chat over a cuppa or happy to recluse in my room and study or watch tv. I have 2 clean, well behaved indoor ONLY kitties who will warm up to you (and you will warm up to them!) I'm clean and easy to live with :) Prefer to live with females only
I'm a really clean and outgoing room mate. I like to have fun but I am also very respectful. I do work full time Monday - Friday so I won't be at the house 24/7. I like my downtime but also like to go to new bars or restaurants and to experience new things.
Hi! I'm 20 years old and I work as a Personal Assistant during the week and in Hospitality on the weekends. I'm quite private, but I also enjoy living with people who are up for a bit of socialising or a chat. I'm looking for either a group of two or three people to find a place together with, or a room in an existing place.
Hi! I'm in the process of re-locating to Brisbane after completing a work contract interstate. I am studying part time for honours and will be working part time. I am very friendly and social, a non-smoker, but appreciate my peace and quiet. I clean up after myself and am considerate of others, and hope that this is reciprocated. I'm 52, so no spring chicken, but plenty of spring in my step ;) I love to dance, walk/hike, and create all sorts of things. I also like to keep fit and healthy, so looking for some like-minded people. Please contact me if you have a room available. Cheers! Sue
I’ve lived super harmoniously in two other share houses before and am known for being really chill to be around, tidy and conscientious. In my spare time I’m usually catching up with friends and family, eating/cooking, creating art or daydreaming about my next holiday :)
