I work in technology-public sector. I'm a project manager. I'm looking for a furnished apartment. I'm pretty active, enjoy jogging and aerobics. I like reading and enjoy good music. On weekends I like to hangout, drink good coffee and eat good food. I also travel to Sydney regularly on weekends.
I'm a 23-year-old soon to be public health grad from Melbourne who will be working full-time from March 2018. I'm looking for housemates/share-house close to Forrest so I can cycle/walk/take public transport. Peter is 24, an audiologist who will be working on Northbourne Avenue. You can expect us to keep our area tidy and clean, contribute to our fair share of the housework and pay rent and bills on time. I love going to musicals, concerts, visiting art galleries and planning future holiday trips. I also enjoy visiting the cinema, exploring the bush/going on road trips whenever I can and spending quality time with friends and family. I plan to visit home often on weekends.
Hey there, I am Thomas. I grew up in Paris and studied Earth Sciences in both Paris and Zürich (five months). For the next three to four years I will be studying at the Research School of Earth Sciences of the ANU as a PhD candidate. I am definitely easy-going, love listening to music, enjoy meeting up and partying with friends as well as watching movies or playing games. Not the best cook, expect me to try, but success is not always there ! Most importantly I would say, always paying attention to others and ready to give a hand ! I am up for a Skype if you consider it helpful, just send me a message.
I'm quiet, clean, love a mix of time to myself and keeping company. I love boardgames and will probably Lok to explore some of the nature reserves whilst I'm in Canberra (moving from Sydney for work) :). Moving from Sydney I have a load of kitchen gear (including appliances), a couch, a tv, a coffee table, table and chairs to contribute to setting up a place.
Hi! I'm a 25yr old PhD student at UNSW Canberra. Looking for somewhere until December, when I'm moving back to the UK. Pretty chilled out and always up for a beer. In my spare time I'm a judo instructor at ANU. Cheers, Chris
Hi everyone. I'm a clean, tidy professional moving to Canberra for a public service job. I'm quiet and spend most of my spare time studying or cycling, but I'm happy to join in with things as well. I'm looking for a place close enough to cycle to work in Russell.
Hi, I am Kim and I am relocating to Canberra to start an exciting new job in the arts industry. I am a very creative person, and have travelled a lot over the years, and so I tend to get along with people from all walks of life. I am looking for friendly and easy going house mates, who are independent, yet enjoy a chat. I am used to living in share houses in Australia and overseas, and I am cooperative and responsible in regards to the usual household duties and bills. I hope to find a place this or early next month. At home I like to play a little guitar and sing (not at unreasonable hours) and hope to find a music friendly place. In my spare time I enjoy craft or art, cooking, yoga, and going for long exploratory walks. I have plenty to occupy me in my spare time but I do enjoy the occasional shared meal and a chat.
I'll be moving to Canberra for a role in the public service. I'm pretty relaxed and respectful of personal space. I'd also like to live someone who is reasonably tidy. I'm not overly talkative, but I think I'm a good listener. i enjoy playing and watching sport, watching TV shows, reading, playing board games and exploring the city.
Hey, I am a student completing my hospitality internship at The Hotel Kurrajong. Therefore, would be working part time. I am very easy going and fairly adjustable. I like to socialize but at the same time do my own thing. Really love to cook, play a few sports (cricket, football) and learning to play the guitar (New hobby :p). Would preferably look for an accommodation in south Canberra or city center as I do not have a vehicle or near a public transport stop for easy access. Cheers, Arvind
I'm starting a new job within the APS from September. I'm a friendly and easy going guy from Sydney who enjoys the outdoors, hanging out with friends over a meal or drinks and exploring around town. I'm very tidy and clean and will respect personal spaces. Currently, I'm looking for a furnished room, preferably with all bills and wifi included and I'm not too fussy with the location in Canberra for now. :)
Tidy, clean, organised, lived with housemates for many years, enjoy cooking. Pretty relaxed with bathroom usage. Christian, tries to live those values. I'll be starting my PhD in Philosophy, but am currently a full time teacher, living in WA. Just wanted to see if I could organise accommodation in advance :) I love to dance (tango and flamenco) and come complete with multiple teapots and a tea collection. I have a habit of adding wine to almost everything I cook ... wine not?
The room on offer is main room size. It has lush carpet, a separate study area, walk through robe into the big bedroom area with views of the lake. You are the one boy full time user of the huge main bathroom which has tonnes of storage. The view in all the rooms in this fabulous unit are of the lake and Foreshore areas and are gorgeous. Living here it reall is all about the location. I have a miniature old poodle cross who is very well trained and another small trained, allergy-friendly dog can be considered. The unit has Foxtel and Netflix plus NBN and a queen size bed if you need it and space for a guest plus everything else including secure undercover parking. I also have a great cleaner who comes fortnightly to give me back my weekend, it is up to you if you want to participate in this amenity too.
I am looking for a housemate to share my lovely two bedroom apartment on the Kingston Foreshore. I'm a busy professional looking for someone in a similar situation that wants a clean, tidy and well-appointed apartment. As a free bonus, I'm complete pop culture nerd and own my very own Rick and Morty poster. Wubba Lubba dub dub kids! Below are photos of the room and the apartment in general. Advantages: - Highly desirable and new "Element" complex includes movie house for tenants to rent and roof-top BBQ/Garden if you want to party and get Rickety-Rickety-wrecked son! - Apartment is fully furnished apart from the room in question - Own bathroom with walk-in shower that you need only share with guests - 3rd-floor views with balcony that opens completely allowing seamless transition from lounge to outside - Fully equipped kitchen with integrated fridge and dishwasher - Enjoyment of vintage record collection - Awesome couch made in Milan - Beautiful Park 50m down the road - May occasionally come for a drive in my Alfa Romeo 4C - Weekly cleaner to do all those mundane things like mopping Disadvantages: - If you interfere in any way with aforementioned record collection your body will be found face down in Lake Burley Griffin - Not looking for a party animal: keep your frolicking to The Dock downstairs or the roof-top garden - I'm a neat freak that makes Sheldon Cooper look well adjusted: any grots save us both the trouble and don't apply - Touch the Alfa and bits of your body will be found strategically spread throughout Canberra - On-street parking only sorry
The apartment is located on the chic Foreshore side of Kingston for a beer at the Dock but is still a quick stroll to leafy Ye Olde Kingston for brunch, coffee, lunch and probably dinner. The place would have: - Your own bathroom (that guests might use) - Your own underground car spot - A gas stove and dishwasher in the kitchen - Air-con(/heating) - A decent sized living room - The apartment is mostly furnished besides the available room (though there could be an option to buy a queen bed from the vacating flatmate) - Brodburger is pretty dang close - Anytime Fitness is closer
I'm friendly, easy-going, conscientious, neat and tidy and pretty quiet. I work full time as a vet nurse, a job I absolutely love. In my spare time you'll find me relaxing, watching a movie or TV show, going to markets, out for dinner or walking my dog. I'm in no way a party animal, though I'm not opposed to a glass of wine or two. I like to keep a clean house and nothing annoys me more than people who can't clean up after themselves. I really have no huge preference to suburbs in Canberra. So yes, I have a dog. I also have two cats. Tommy is a 6yr old DSH who does nothing but sleep. Maxie is about 1.5yrs, also DSH. She's very sweet and a bit of a homebody. Roy is a small poodle mix, 7kg, about 1yr old, quite timid when he first meets people but a real character once he's happy and comfortable. The cats are outside during the day, inside at night and, being a vet nurse, I'm lucky enough to be able to take Roy with me to work every day! Both cats are litter trained and Roy is house trained. All three are up to date with vaccinations, worming and flea treatment. Can provide referees.
Hi I'm Janri! :) I'm 23 and I'm a hairdresser. I'm a nice person and I love hanging out, if your up for it, but I'm not really too much of a party person. I'm sturdy and clean, but I'm not a clean freak. I believe that public areas should be left clean and that private room should be kept private (but not gross, if you know what I mean; eg. dirty bowls that have been in your room for 6 months). I also love music, but I can't play any instruments, so if you're looking for a Mozart Beethoven or Beyonce...ummm, enough said.
Im a 30 yo full time worker, in a Italian restaurant in Kingston as a chef. Originally from Brazil, living in Canberra for the past 7 years. I'm a open mind person like to spend some time watching tv and some glass of wine with my Flatmate's, but also enjoy my own space after a long day at work ( around 14 hours). I'm clean and organise but also reliable with my responsibility, I love pets and on my days off like to spend some time cleaning the house, or going outside I into sports and a healthy life. Also like traveling to Syd to visit my friends.
Hi there :) I'm a 25 year old female working full time. I'm clean, friendly and considerate of my roommates. Outside of work I enjoy going to the gym, going out for breakfast (best meal of the day!) and hanging out with friends and family :)
Hi, hate these things. I'm a lawyer, i work in Canberra during the week and live in Sydney with my partner most weekends. Quiet, easy going and friendly and I think I'm pretty easy to live with.
Hi my name is Alif! I'm a 23 year old grad with the Department of Finance and am looking to move into an unfurnished room in Kingston sometime in August (preferably with my own bathroom/ensuite) . I work full-time and am a pretty easy-going person. When home I generally tend to keep to myself but am always down to have a chat or chill-out. I currently live in the Gungahlin area which very far away from work for and so I want to move somewhere closer (ideally Kingston/Forrest).
