Friends call me Kichu. I'm moving to Australia from India for my PG @ ANU on Feb 1, 2018. I like to sing, percuss and read. I can get along with any personality or culture. I am a good teacher and can talk about science, technology and Indian music for all day long. I love pets even though I don't have any. I play CoD and CSGo. I'm a GoT BBT fanboy. I'm new to Australia might need help in adjusting to it. My budget is $125 - $140 per week.
Neat and tidy. My every day routine includes studying and research for work purposes, gaming or fitness. I could be a Great gym buddy if you are that way inclined. Can cook, clean, repair stuff and figure out why the net isnt working. Never have money problems. Non smoker and non gambler. Do like beer and wine though! (Not interested in house parties). (Ps, I am still not certain what my max budget is just yet).
I'm friendly and open to new people, I keep clean and have a beautiful pup who I am training. I am busy with work and study so also spend time out of the way.
Hi. My name is Sue. I'm moving from rural WA to study full-time in Canberra for an academic year. Professionally I am a Registered Nurse/Midwife and will work a little to support myself. I am easy going and quiet, clean and tidy, and I enjoy walking, horse riding and meeting with friends. As I am moving interstate I am looking for a furnished room preferably en-suite.
Hi! I’m Kathryn. I’ve just had a huge career change and landed my ideal job in Canberra, so looking for an awesome place with awesome flat mates! I’m super easy to get along with, do my fair share of housework and cooking. Always up for a chat! Looking for somewhere where I can have my dog Baloo, he’s super friendly and a real character!
Hello, my name is Jacob and I am a school leaver who will be studying nursing in Canberra in 2018. I am a very clean person and like to keep my spaces neat and tidy, I'm not shy of a good conversation and I enjoy the company of others. I am hoping to find somewhere to live as soon as possible, if you have ANY questions please don't hesitate to ask, I will be more than happy to answer them to the best of my ability. Thank you.
Hi all, I'll be moving from Tasmania to Canberra to undertake my PhD at ANU, so I'll be needing somewhere to live! I won't be there in person until the 17th of Feb, but I am happy to pay RENT FROM THE 18th OF JANUARY. Ideally I'd like somewhere 20min or less from ANU. I'm a clean (!), laid back person who is looking to find a nice, friendly set of housemates to hang out with, and still be able to have my own space. I enjoy a casual drink, I watch more TV than is good for me, and I like to get outside and hike/stroll around. All my hobbies are fairly harmless- I'm into photography, bird watching, rock climbing, reading, and I dabble in a bit of sketching and painting. I've ticked 'have pets' as I'd love to be able to bring my amazing dog Kallie up with me (on a trial to see how she handles leaving home), but if I find an amazing house that can't have dogs she can continue living with my family in Tasmania.
Hey all, I'm 22 and a recent graduate moving to Canberra in 2018 for a full time job. I'm fun, respectful, and happy to hang out but also enjoy my own space. I am looking to move in somewhere for at least 12 months with people who are social, relaxed, and fun to be around. Send me a message if you have any questions :)
Hi! I'm a 25yr old female moving down from QLD to Canberra to start work at the Canberra hospital in early January, and my boyfriend is late 20's working in the design field. We are quiet, respectful and tidy and have lived together for 3 years, and always had at least one roommate and gotten along well. We are down to earth and respectful of personal space, but also more than happy to hang out for a drink or check out events on the weekends. We are very independent and don't live in each other's pockets! Please let me know if you think you have something that could suit, time is of the essence!
I have lived, worked and studied in more than 4 continents. Loved exploring every inch of the culture and history's of the countries I was residing in. Now working in a field that combines my passions and skills into one and I can make a significant difference in society. In my spare time, I am often hiking, riding my mountain bike, surfing or playing a round of golf. I like to meet new people and hear their unique adventures via a well-prepared curry. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Jack
I am moving to Canberra from Melbourne to start a graduate role with the ACTPS. I like cooking, sewing, singing, and movies. I'm usually pretty busy in Melbourne, and I'm hoping to find some new hobbies! I'm tidy and respectful, and not really into big parties. I have furniture in Melbourne which I am happy to bring with me if needed (including all whitegoods). I also have a two year old indoor cat that I would like to bring with me, but who may also stay in Melbourne with my brother for the time being. She's sweet and happy, doesn't really bother people, and has a rear joint displaysia which means she can't jump onto kitchen benches, and can't free-range outside. I'm looking for an unfurnished room in a quiet, laid-back house. Ideally with heating and cooling, off street parking, and some kind of outside space.
I'm a New Zealanders and I'm moving to Australia to study a Master's in Environmental Science at ANU. I love travelling - I grew up in Uzbekistan, Georgia, and Armenia and I'm currently spending the "summer" interning in northern California. Hobbies - cooking, reading, tramping and hiking, fitness, Netflix. I've flatted for 5 years so I'm very tolerant and respectful, and I'm tidy and pretty quiet. I’m looking for a room solo until about June/July when my boyfriend will be moving over from NZ to join me. So I’m interested in short-term single rooms or longer-term rooms that are suitable for couples :)
Hi, I'm a PhD student at ANU University. I'm an italian boy, I'm a fun person, I like to make friends and I'm a good cook (italian cuisine ;) ). I have several hobbies, for example I like listening to the music, reading, playing bass guitar (not in Australia, of course) and playing football with friends. I have been living with other flatmates for 6 years and rarely I fought with them. Actually we are still friends. I'm clean and polite.
Hi there! I am a student moving to Canberra for 1 year to work while completing a postgraduate degree. I love animals but sadly will be leaving my dog at home. I am typically a quiet person when at home who prefers to relax by going outside or watching videos/movies. I clean up after myself and would expect my housemates also take care of common areas. I prefer to cook my own meals at home most of the time but do enjoy going out to try new places to eat. I will have a busy schedule so wish to find a place that is calm and quiet. Hope to be in touch soon!
Originally from Newcastle I've moved to Canberra to study Actuarial Science at ANU. I'm carefree, easy to live with and love a drink!

I'm moving to Canberra in January to begin work as a 2018 APS grad. Currently I'm finishing up my psychology degree in Newcastle, then will be travelling in Europe for a couple of months and moving down to Canberra after the new year. I start work on January 31 but happy to move in earlier and get settled into a place. Interested in meeting new people, getting to know Canberra, playing sports etc. I'm looking to a find a place within walking/cycling distance to Civic and ideally close to shops, restaurants. Prefer a place where everyone is clean and tidy, friendly, open for a chat and just generally laid back.
Joining the long list of people moving to Canberra to begin work for the APS in 2018! I'm originally from Tamworth, but have spent the past 4.5 years in Wollongong studying Engineering at UOW. I'm a massive AFL fan, and enjoy playing guitar, going for runs and playing social sports like oztag/netball/squash. Ideally, I'd like to be part of a fairly social household. I don't know many people in Canberra, so it'd be great to meet people through housemates and by hosting occasional get-togethers. I'm very tidy and am more than happy to contribute when it comes to shared cleaning responsibilities. Over the past 3.5 years I have been in and out of a couple of share houses, so I'm pretty used to living with a variety people and resolving the issues that commonly arise in a respectful manner!
Hello! I'm Olivia and originally from Florida but I've been living in Canberra since mid November. I'm seeking a room to rent for roughly 6 months. I've been staying in Braddon but my lease here will be up shortly. I work part time at a restaurant in the area and spend my weekdays at the airport studying aviation for my CPL H. I like to stay active and do a lot of walking, hiking and swimming. In my spare time, if I'm not out socializing, I'll be nose deep in books or a T.V. series. I'm very friendly and fun to spend time with and would be happy to have the occasional drink and dinner together. I enjoy my alone time though and am fully respectful of others needs for space as well. I'm very responsible and courteous when it comes to shared cleaning and other chores. I'm hoping to find a roommate as quirky as myself to share a flat with in the new year!
Tidy, clean, organised, lived with housemates for many years, enjoy cooking. Pretty relaxed with bathroom usage. Christian, tries to live those values. I'll be starting my PhD in Philosophy, but am currently a full time teacher, living in WA. Just wanted to see if I could organise accommodation in advance :) I love to dance (tango and flamenco) and come complete with multiple teapots and a tea collection. I have a habit of adding wine to almost everything I cook ... wine not?
