Moving from Sydney to Canberra for full time work (mon-fri) in january. I'm an outgoing person who enjoys hanging out with friends, going out, outdoor activities and gym on occasion. Always up to do new things and meeting new people. I'm described as happy and bubbly person. Although I'm pretty easy going and chilled, I'm also a respectful person who is considerate of other people's belongings and personal space. In terms of living with, i'm not a messy person and will definitely keep the place clean. As long as everyone does their part i'm happy. I'm also not noisy and definitely enjoy my down time as well. Simply looking for some nice, tidy and chill people to share a place with.
Hi there, I'm looking to move in to a share house where I could rent a large bedroom with either an ensuite or a private bathroom. I love all animals and would love to live with someone who has pets, except cats (I'm allergic) I'm a vegan and am passionate about animal rights so I would love to move into a house with someone who shares similar views to me but this isn't a must, as long as cooking isn't a shared responsibility I do not mind living with people who eat meat at all. I like to think of myself as respectful, honest and clean housemate, I'm a non-smoker and rarely a social drinker. I work full time in the Public Service and when I'm not working I like to spend time with family and friends, watch Netflix, and play Xbox. If this sounds you have anything suitable for me please contact me and we can discuss things further :)
Moving to Canberra October end/First week November. Full time professional working with a Government Department. Prefer either South Canberra or Civic and surrounding as I will be working in Forrest. Usually I spend my time playing sport, catching up with friends over drinks or just chill at home watching TV or playing games. I like to keep the place neat and tidy and would like to find someone similar. I will have my car with me so need a car space.
Relaxed and friendly law student from Melbourne, looking for a share house to join while I undertake a 3 month internship working full-time in the public sector. Always up for a drink after work and am very sociable but at the same time am respectful to other people's privacy / study time / 'me-time'. I am a tidy person and enjoy cooking a meal together every now and then. Love the outdoors, live music, reading, wining & dining and keeping active. Ideally looking for not just a room to rent, but a social place to live with other young professionals.
Non-smoker who loves to travel, has been consistently employed for over a decade (except for a break I took to travel between my current job and the previous one), makes amazing crepes, loves dogs, is okay with cats, less okay with birds, loves the cinema, Netflix, reading, listening to music, and walking. I'm moving to Canberra from Penrith, NSW, to study full time at ANU but will be looking for part time employment once I settle in. I currently work in a legal firm and will most likely look for similar work. I don't drive or own my own car. I am tidy, handy with an Allen key, generally keep to myself but am always up for a chat.
Hello! I'll be starting full-time work with the public service in February 2017 and as such am looking for flatmates :) About me - I see myself as a friendly, but not overly boisterous person. I I like to keep active - swimming, cycling, and hiking are things I like to do for fun. I also enjoy a good chat over tea or beer. As a newcomer to Melbourne, I'll be keen to hangout, and explore the area/nightlife. That being said, I also value privacy and the need to feel 'at home' and comfortable in living situations. I am looking for two or three housemates (preferably female). I value open communication, shared housework (roster perhaps?) and tidy shared living areas. Feel free to message me if you're looking to start a share house or in need of a flatmate - would love to meet you!
Alicia: I am relaxed but do love to chat after a day's work, I am a housemate who is friendly and easygoing at the same time. I will respect your privacy but hope to be on friendly terms with my housemates. I am enthusiastic about good coffee, bike riding, seeing live music and reading. I also have a partner, Tom, who will be visiting for a bit and then living with me after I move to Canberra. He also loves coffee and bike riding and can play the guitar quite well. Tom loves any beer that is brown/strong and purchasing LPs for his record player. He is a vegetarian, but i'm not and will eat almost anything. We will both be full-time professionals who want to make the most of our time in Canberra with weekend trips and socialising. Both of us have been living with 3 other flatmates in Melbourne, with a cleaning roster that we stick to.

Hi there! Looking out for a nice place to live in Canberra towards the end of the year or start of next year. The house ideally needs to be semi or fully furnished with a parking spot for my car (can be off-street). The room must be well-lit, and can be furnished or unfurnished. I'm a positive, friendly and honest person. I like reading, travelling, and yoga, and also like to keep active by swimming and running. I'd also like to get into cycling, and I'm looking forward to some trips to the snow! My main interests are political economics and international development. I'm quite an easy-going person to live with, and I like to keep things clean and tidy. I'm looking for housemates who I can occasionally spend time with in the evenings and on the weekends. Ideally, my housemates would enjoy having a good chat about the world, and have a good sense of humour. Cleanliness is a must. Please shoot me an e-mail if you have something suitable.
I am from India, and will join ANU from 1st October. I am fun loving, clean, and quite person. I like privacy but sometimes enjoy partying with friends.

I am quite chilled out and easy going, i like to go out on the weekends, would not mind a glass of wine and beer with my house mates, i follow sports, music, gaming, i love pets as well though i do not have one here. I like cooking also, a vegetarian so would prefer vegan/vegetarian housemates so we can share some good meals! :)
Hi! My name is Jackie, 38 yrs. old. I have a 5 yr. old son. We are from South Korea. I am a Filipino and my son is half Korean. I will be studying in CIT and was in IT career for almost 10 years. I am a very organized person and loves having a clean house. I look younger than my age as many says maybe because I am a happy and friendly person. You can easily get along with me well. My son as also is a very nice and well-behaved kid. It would be fun having him around. We love walking around and see the nature and its beauty. Biking, fishing, picnic is fun.
I'm originally from Canberra and am currently studying a PhD in Chemistry at ANU. I'm generally laid back and happy to go with the flow. I lead a fairly busy lifestyle but still want housemates who are great to hang around with. In particular, I really enjoy cooking with others and learning new things! I also enjoy sport, playing games and watching TV shows. I prefer to keep things neat and tidy, and have a lot of respect for other people's space. If you think I'd be a good fit for your place I'd love to meet you! :)
Hi there, My name is Clare, and I'm looking to start a share house or join an existing one with at least one other female in a peaceful home, ideally in the inner north suburbs of Canberra. I'm keen for a sense of community at home, so prefer to live with people who are happy to share a meal or cup of tea from time to time, but am also aware of respecting people's need for space/ down time. I work full time in the government in a social justice role, and in my spare time catch up with friends, see bands, listen to music, exercise. I am good with paying bills on time and pitching in for chores. I like watching SBS/ABC occasionally ... Looking for 6 -12 month lease. If this sounds of interest, please drop me a line with a little about yourself. Thankyou!
I'm a third-year at ANU who loves cooking, yoga, dogs and tea. In general I'm a pretty quiet and clean person, but I also like to hang out with my housemates and a bottle of ginger beer when we're all home together. Most of the time I'm studying or working, and I also do some volunteer work and like to visit my family in Sydney and Melbourne when I get the time.
Hi! 😊 I am Leah, an overseas intern from the Philippines. I am a culinary student. I am shy but quite sociable also. Hobbies.. I like reading, listening to music and eating. 😊 I am quite independent. I look forward hearing from possible flatmate/s. Have an awesome day ahead! 😊
Hi ! I'm a french student in an engineering school in Paris. I am currently in a gap year and after 6 months in Sweden, I will spend 6 months in Canberra for an internship at the CSIRO. I will be working there full time from mid february to the end of july. I'm pretty social but also like to have my own space, I am used to live with flatmates. I am respectful of others and clean! As I will come from France, I won't have any furniture, so I am looking for a furnished room. I am very excited to live in Australia for six months, I hope I'll meet new friends and I am looking for room in a friendly home!
I'm a 26 year old working full time Monday-Friday looking for a new place to live in the ACT. I'm friendly and love to have a chat with housemates over drinks/dinner or even going out for social activities but at the same time I respect that everyone needs their space and privacy. I keep things clean and tidy (without being too over the top) and all rent and bills paid on time. I like to keep a relaxed and happy vibe at home - I have no problem at all with visitors but prefer to not be in a 'party' house. After work during the week I like to just chill out with dinner, a glass of wine and some music - I'm not much of a TV watcher myself but it doesn't bother me if others are. Sometimes I will watch a series or movie on Netflix instead :-P I enjoy cooking at home and also going out somewhere for a good feed. I have no pets of my own but I am more than happy to live in a place with pets. I've lived in a few sharehouses previously, I'm happy to share chores/housework and I'm pretty conscious of keeping things easy and enjoyable for everyone :) If you think I might be a good fit for your home or even have any questions, please get in touch :)
I'm a full-time physio student, also working part time looking to join a friendly, sociable household. I have lived in numerous sharehouses, and so always make sure I'm clean, tidy and respectful of other peoples space!
I'm an undergraduate Education student from Brisbane. I'll be in Canberra for 3 months over the summer on an internship. I've been share housing for 3 years in a range of places - from the very large (7 people - was quite the experience) to smaller arrangements. I'm friendly, easygoing and open to social or quiet share houses. I always clean up after myself, respect common areas and my housemate's privacy. I enjoy cooking, sightseeing, reading and volunteering. Feel free to drop me a line if you're looking for a team up!
I'm Katie! I'm moving to Canberra for postgrad study after a very exciting gap year abroad. I'm looking forward to starting a new life in Canberra and meeting lots of new people. I did my whole undergrad in Brisbane and I'm ready for a change! Ideally my housemates would be interesting, friendly, open and sociable. Of course I value clenliness and respect too but that sort of goes without saying :D I like to have a good relationship with my housemates and would much prefer open doors and friendship to quiet, formal interactions. Please let me know if you have any rooms available :D
Happy Thanksgiving Flatmate! I am an Melbournian who is living in Singapore. In November 2016, I am moving to Canberra for a few months with my Singaporean GF. We are looking for our own furnished room in a clean place and are happy to share bathrooms. - We will not be buying a car yet, so being close to shops is an important consideration. - Animal tenants is a plus, as I have kept rabbits, dogs and cats previously. - Sadly, I am NOT cool and don't smoke. In Singapore, we own property, have tenants and have been paying tenants in the past, so we know how to co-exist happily with other people and maintain premises. We are quite responsive to the needs to our housemates and can play hermit or socialite roles equally well, as needed by household customs. Just to note, we don't socialise by watching TV, listening to music or playing sports as we prefer to interact directly with you, when socialising. If you want to know more about us, send me a message and we can look for more common ground and productive house-sharing arrangements! Merry Halloween David
Looking to team up with a few people to rent a house! Something along the lines of these; Happy to buy some furniture to make the place feel like our own. I'm currently doing my Masters at ANU and working around Campbell. If you would like to catch up for coffee let me know and we can see if this will work out! I also have a small grey cat named Mamma who you will grow to love quickly. He goes outside during the day and sleeps in my room at night. Shoot me through a message if you're keen! Look forward to meeting you :)
Hi My name is Thibault and I am a French student. I have been in canberra for 4 months so far and I am starting a PhD in physics at the ANU in october. I already live in a sharehouse right now but the lease is ending so I need to find a new place. I have been living with flatmates for the last 3 years so I am used to it. I am easy to live with and clean (without being a cleanliness freak). I am often working late during the week, so you may not see me a lot but I like spending some time with my flatmates during the week-end. I don't have pets but I like animals. I don't smoke but I used to, so it's not a problem for me if you do. Finally I am a musician (guitar and drums) and I love jamming session so I would love to move in with other musicians.
From day-to-day, I love to cook, be healthy, practice yoga, go for runs, watch movies, read, and listen to music. Less day-to-day, I enjoy travelling abroad and road-tripping at home. I'm from Canberra, but have lived in the USA as a dual citizen; currently studying human rights and development studies at the ANU while working on the side. Also passionate about the environment and responsible consumerism.
I am a Canadian chemistry student working in a lab at ANU for six months, starting January. I'm clean, I love cooking and sharing meals, and I want to live with some people who want to show off Australia. I like to run, weightlift, have a beer, and jam out to some great music.
My Name is Jen. I am a single, 22 year old, moving to Canberra around November to December. I am currently in my final year of Uni, and I'm starting a grad job in Canberra with the APS in January 2017. I enjoy going for runs, to the gym, reading and just hanging out with friends. I am laid back and easy to get along with. I am looking to not only share accommodation but to make new friends.
My name is Brendan, I am 19, currently studying at the ANU (Development Studies and International Security). I used to live in France and have traveled quite a bit! I currently live in university accommodation but am very much looking forward to having my own space, as I'm not an avid every Thursday night drinker like most people in college haha! I work part-time at BWS and at the Canberra Olympic Pool.
I work full time in government like most people in this town. I enjoy cycling, bars, road trips, and smashed avo brunches. I'm clean, easygoing and respectful of others' space. All the good things you want in a housemate. Active outside the house but am always happy to chat over dinner or a glass of wine! Available to move in anytime between now and November 13!
I'm a 28 year old female professional. I'm sociable, considerate and neat and tidy. Love animals. Grew up in and currently living in Wollongong, NSW so will be at the beach most weekends! Love sunshine and music, shopping, good food and good wine. :)
Hi, I'm Cameron, 24, and I'm moving up to Canberra to start a new job. I've lived in Melbourne my whole life, and in the past, I've been at uni studying chemistry and graduated with my Masters. I consider myself a social person, but considerate of others' space.

We’re two professional and easy going guys (one mid 20s the other early 30s) looking for someone to move into the third bedroom that has become available. We’re both fairly active (including some early morning wake ups) but also enjoy relaxing, whether that be watching sport or chatting over a drink. The room will be available from Saturday 12 November and you will need to complete a rental application form for the agent and be willing to go on the lease. The apartment is located on Printers Way (directly across from Norgrove Park), ground floor with direct street access and is no more than a few minutes stroll from Kingston Foreshore and no more than 10 minutes up to the Kingston shops. With everything going on down at the Foreshore (and with what’s to come) you’re definitely in an ideal location. Rental bond will be $880.
