Hello :) Myself (Chantal) and my boyfriend (Jay) are both 21 and from WA. We have been on a road trip for the last few weeks across to the east and have just arrived in Wollongong. Our original intention was to move to Wollongong but have changed our minds along the way and this area looks more appealing to us! We are both easy going, respectful and clean. We loooove cooking and are both into music and arts. Jay is a musician and plays jazz/psychedelic/alternative music and is considering studying commercial cookery or sound engineering once we are settled. He loves a jam but will obviously be respectful of noise levels. I am a hospitality worker and am considering studying floristry. I also love gardening! We are both smokers but are respectful and won't smoke around you if you don't like it and only outside! We are currently on the lookout for jobs in the area, so we'll hopefully have something sorted by the time we are there. If not we both have savings and will have no problem paying rent/expenses until we find work. We are hoping to arrive around the 17th of Feb. Look forward to hearing from you! :)

Hey guys! I'm looking for a new abode in the lovely shire! I’ve lived in the area for 2 1/2 years (currently in Coorabell) I'm 35, female, single, non-smoker, healthy lifestyle kinda girl (grew up on a fresh produce farm) though also enjoy a nice dinner and a glass of vino and have lived with both housemates and solo for 6 years, so know the drill and am very respectful and clean. I'm friendly, considerate and have some lovely mates up here and looking forward to finding a place to call home. I'm looking to pay up to $270 a week for a room in a share home, though up to $400 for a private studio/1bedder or cabin. I need to be out of my current home by Feb 28th - So am flexible with the move in date up until then. If any of this sounds good please message me :) Have a great day!
I like to think I’m pretty consider it other people, I’m quite tidy and am happy to keep to myself or interact. I can usually read the room pretty well so will be able to tell if you want to be left alone have company. I am responsible, reliable and very self sufficient. Looking for similar qualities. I work a lot. Some times odd hours but mostly I do big days of minimum 10 hours so I’m not home much but when I am I pretty quiet until you get to know me. And then I’m still pretty quiet just more fun then you initially though
Our names our John and Emily, we are two young Canadians currently travelling through Asia! We are super excited to be planting roots in Australia for the next while. I (John) work as a barista, and Emily works in childcare. We love travel, photography/filmmaking, surfing, and the outdoors. We're social and love to have fun, however also hard workers who are determined to make our dreams come true. We're looking for a room in a house with like-minded roommates who we can become friends with! We respect the privacy of others and aren't afraid to do our part in maintaining the state of the house. We're super excited about our new adventure in Australia, and look forward to meeting you!
I'm an easy going person, I like my sports and time for myself, which I spent either reading or digging through endless piles of new and old music. I'm always down to grab a beer and like a party every now and then, as long as it is outside the walls of my living place. I'm in Byron Bay for the summer working as a chef. I have a degree in chemistry and a passion for cooking which I'm not sure how to combine just yet. I have been a vegan for a while, but started eating meat again when I got serious about working in the kitchen. I can still make some killer vegan dishes though. I'm very flexible when it comes to the living space and don't need a villa or a beatiful kitchen. I like a clean house and apart from cooking for other people, I also love to cook for myself. If you own the place that could be the new roof over my head, send me a text. Cheers,
Hey🌻 I am looking for a safe, clean space for Miss Chillie and myself to call home. Preferably with some trees, open space and maybe even a pool 💦 My current rental has been placed on the market and therefore its time to find another beautiful space . I work full-time in Lismore at the NDIS (GOV) then after sports, food, netflix and showers its bedtime during the week. Weekends are spent eating out, beach, relaxing or food prepping for the week ahead.. (Ground hog day everyday basically) A glass of wine to socialise on the weekends is generally enough these days but nothing hectic. We are not intersted in a party house or a silence camp... Just a relaxing environment with our own space and privacy.. My girl is in Year 6 and like most kids these days she would rather be on technology than cutting up the backyard (unfortunately). But that means she wont bother you after school unless you take ger iPad off her. I do have two French Mastiff's that are big lazy loveable creatures. Their names are Kula and Deus and it would devastate me to not have them with me. They are outside dogs that are walked everyday and huggable gentle giants. I know it sounds like alot of "baggage" but I invite anyone that is intersted to come visit me in my own home and you will see we are super clean, friendly, non destructive, law abiding citizens and dogs.. The only situation that wouldn't work with my dogs is living with a cat.. Kula is fascinated with cats and im not sure this would mix well but other dogs, humans and children are perfectly fine. I could take my dogs to my Father's house if necessary (but it would make me so sad to not see them everyday). For the right place I will consider this option but I am hoping it won't come to this 🤞 We come with excellent references from multiple real estates, private rentals and work. Did i mention Im clean....Hate mess!!! ..... Ideally a large room with a private bathroom and a seperate living area or a studio would be perfect. I am keen for team up on a new lease on a big house with the right person. Space is the key to harmony..!! If I have missed anything feel free to contact me - I'm easy to communicate with.. 🗣 Happy days 🤞🐕🍀
Hi I'm David I'm looking for a room to rent. I'm really chill and easy to live with. I'm low key when I'm home, I eat pretty healthy and I don't smoke. I work in Film and have early starts but I've just enrolled in study 2 days a week. (for 6 months). I have a little flower farm business on the side (Australian Natives) and on my down time I like to be in nature, swimming, rainforest, hiking, gym, listen to music, beach, cinema, be around nature and I love dogs. I'm happy for a chat and meal with flat mates.
Hi, I have obtained a full time role in Byron area and looking for a place to live. I am social, respectful, clean and tidy. Do enjoy outdoors eg fishing, skating, volley ball. Happy to have a banter over a few drinks but completely respect other's privacy. I will be starting my new job on the 11th of March. Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks. James
Hi my name is john, I'm a registered nurse. I'm looking to relocate to Byron, Ballina, Bangalow area. I enjoy a healthy lifestyle with a connection to the environment. I have a love of permaculture and the natural environment. I have a goal of living a self-sustainable lifestyle. I completed my bachelor of nursing in 2015, I also have a diploma of landscape design, my last project before I decided on nursing was to design and build a kitchen garden for the local public school. This design was submitted to the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden foundation where it was able to secure funding to help construct the garden. The design Incorporated various permacultural concepts and resulted in a functional garden that supplied the school with produce for the children to harvest and prepare beautiful organic cuisine. Anyway hopefully I can connect with people of similar interests in the environment and health :)
I lead a health, active lifestyle- love getting out and about and enjoying the outdoors, but also enjoy nights in with a glass of wine or a good series. I am independent, respectful and just generally pretty easy to live with. Looking for a housemate as well as a friend
Hey, I'm looking to rent somewhere for just essentially two weeks, my houses lease ends on the 3rd of March, however I'm moving back to Sydney around the 17th. I understand that it might not be desirable to have someone in for such a short period but please know I'm really respectful and considerate of flatmates and my homes. I'm a really hard worker so I'll often be out at work or enjoying the sunshine. I am neat and tidy, enjoy eating delicious food and spending time with friends. I'm respectful of peoples spaces and whilst I enjoy sharing a meal with friends as much as I enjoy my down time. Cheers!
Friendly, tidy and clean, I’m a full time chef in a restaurant in town opened only for diner, so I’m hardly home in the evenings. The rest of the time I like to go surfing or explore surroundings. I’m not that kind of housemate you’ll find every day crashed on the couch. I also like to share a beer, or a good diner from time to time.
The house is fully furnished, but I'm sure we could fit in a small amount of furniture/items if you'd like. The bedroom available is huge! There is no wardrobe but plenty of space (enough for queen bed, bedside tables, desk, pop up wardrobe etc. all in the one room). I'm looking for a non-smoking professional individual who is tidy and laid back.
We have an expansive home location and outlook. The house is on a rural setting yet so close to 2 cafe and shopping destinations and 15 mins from 3 great beaches. Special is the large pool, afternoon breezes, big spaces, funky interiors, fans, open fireplace, easy access, kind neighbours . The room is fresh clean private and has sliders out to a sheltered outdoor ....perhaps a lounge area, views from the room and view over the pool. Our kitchen is HUGE, and if you like a weekend pastry the property is 2 mins to Newrybar cafe restaurant and shops, 5 mins to Bangalow shops cafes, club, sporting fields, markets etc. we like a clean stylish warm and loving home. We respect each other and communicate kindly and clearly.

Beautiful quiet home surrounded by nature in the Federal village. The house is just 250m from the General Store, Doma Cafe and Moonshine Coffee Roasters. It's a 10–15 minute drive to Mullumbimby, 20 minutes to Byron and 15 minutes to Bangalow. The house is renovated, is full of beautiful natural light and captures loads of natural airflow from the north. It’s surrounded by established sub-tropical gardens with views from every room. It's also surrounded by abundant wildlife. There’s a large open-plan kitchen, living and dining area with polished timber floors which opens through sliding glass doors onto a large, covered north-facing deck. The deck overlooks the large backyard, gum trees, nearby forest and valley. All bedrooms are carpeted and have large built-in robes with storage space. They have large sliding windows letting in heaps of natural light and fresh air, as well as ceiling fans. There is a queen bed available for use if you need it, or the bedroom can be unfurnished. There is also some additional storage space in a garage and garden shed if needed. There are two rooms available. The rent includes all bills, high-speed internet and lawn mowing. No pets, sorry!
The perfect hideaway in quaint Federal, NSW. Only 20mins from Byron, 15mins from Bangalow and 20mins from Mullumbimby, this house has been an absolute dream! Just around the corner from Doma Cafe and Moonshine Roasters, plus a short drive from the local creek. It’s the perfect abode for an eco conscious household as it runs on rainwater. The house has beautiful breezes when opened right up and we have functioned fantastically with our pedestal fans (happy to leave some for you as there’s no aircon or ceiling fans but really not needed). Your bills will be minimal if you are eco conscious which is a huge plus! We have also started a veggie garden which will be fruiting shortly that you can take over. No internet connected but you can easily get ADSL connected through the phone line. Neighbors are also fantastic. We are offering the whole house for lease as we have to move closer to Brisbane for medical reasons. The house is unfurnished but we can leave a coffee table, single bed and trundle, armoire and a queen bed mattress and ensemble base if needed (all in fair condition) as well as pedestal fans. Please note you will need to apply through Elders Real Estate, lease date negotiable through them.
