Hi there, I'm a 30 y.o. soon to be public servant looking for a place in a friendly, tidy share house. I'm moving over from Adelaide, looking to move in from approx 20th July onwards - I have some flexibility there. I am and will be working full time, 9 - 5 type. Outside of work I like to eat good food, sometimes attempting to cook some! I bake things. I reluctantly keep fit, running and random classes. I really love to read - a range of things. I'm also teaching myself to play piano - I have a little electric one with headphones, don't worry, no noise for you. I've lived in sharehouses for ages. I'm looking for friendly people, who like a laugh and a wine, or a netflix binge and cuppa with housemates. And also a place that's clean and tidy. I'm not interested in living with cats but would absolutely consider dogs.
Starting at the end of July we will have a spare room. The house has: a well equiped kitchen (with dishwasher, oven, 6 jet stove and microwave); a formal dinning room with a 12 person dinning table (great for dinner parties); a formal living room with a fireplace; open plan kitchen/ family room/dinning room; an in-ground swimming pool; an outdoor table on the patio overlooking the swimming pool; ducted gas heating; ducted gas aircon; good wii-fii internet; a Yamaha piano; and separate electric heaters in each bedroom. The house is relatively new, being about 10 years old, and is well insulated. The property is at the base of Red Hill, which has lots a great walking tracks and a cafe on the top with great views over lake Burley Griffin. Red Hill is arguably one of the best suburbs in Canberra. It is located centrally in the inner-South region, has a lot of the diplomatic residences and Missions (Embassies and High Commissions) and, due to the extra policing, a very low crime rates. Also, Red Hill is close to the bar and restaurants located in Kingston, Kingston Foreshore, Manuka, Griffith, Civic and Braddon. There is a bus that runs directly to Civic via Kingston, Manuka and Braddon one way and directly to Woden the other way.
Hi there I’ll be be graduating in a few days I have a part time job at Maccas and am looking for a full time job. I'm from India and have lived in Canberra for two years I like reading and watching films in my free time. I am tidy and respect others privacy.... looking for quiet household.. up for dinners/cooking together/other social things with the housemates in the weekend... but wouldn’t want to live in a house that has frequent parties e I'm looking for a place without pets and one that's a non smoking household. Please message if you have anything available.
Easy going, sociable but considerate of others privacy. Widely travelled with variety of outdoor interests. I am clean living, and own my own home in WA. Only moved to Canberra recently-medical professional with new job working in Government.
I'm easy going, easy to get along with. I'm clean, courteous, and always pull my weight. Down to party every now and again, but mostly I'm quiet and enjoy movies, tv, and games - of both the video and board varieties. I'll have a boardgames night any night of the week! Lived in Canberra since I was young. I'm a nurse, working at The Canberra Hospital. Looking for a single room, in the central south of Canberra, flexible with arrangements, furnishings, and start date. Looking forward to meeting you! :)
Hello, my name is Holly! I'm a young professional freshly relocated interstate from Brisbane for a big career change to work in public service. I'm responsible, clean, friendly and easy going - love a good Netflix binge and respectful of other housemates. I come from a makeup artistry background so I'm quite creative but I'm really looking forward to meeting and making friends with a more diverse group of people outside of that industry. If you have any pets that's totally fine with me, I'm open to any furry house companions you may have! I'm looking for a household that feels like not just a house but a home, I enjoy socialising and a good laugh but like to do my own thing from time to time and respect when others do the same. If I sound like a great addition please feel free to send me a message with your listing for a friendly chat about your place, roommates and overall vibe of your household. I look forward to hearing from you!
Hi guys, my name's Daniel and I'm a pilot originally from Perth but have spent the last year and a half in Newcastle and will be moving to Canberra for the foreseeable future at the end of August. I am a really practical and down to Earth kind of guy. I love new experiences and lead an active lifestyle so enjoy getting out for a run, swim, hike/camp, travelling or sampling different local beers. I don't smoke and I won't be bringing any kids or pets and will gladly help out around the place and tend to be pretty clean myself. So looking for kind of the same in a housemate. Initially I will be moving by myself but my girlfriend (29) will follow at the end of the year (~Dec). So ideally finding somewhere or starting up a new sharehouse that would be ok with another addition either permanently or for short term while we find another place would be great depending on how you feel about it. The ideal location would have a supermarket, some cafes and maybe a pub/bar or two within a short distance but I am pretty easy. Good public transport options are pretty important too. I prefer something on my own up to a share house with a maximum of 4 occupants total and am pretty clean and very considerate myself. So if you happen to have a room or would like to look at starting up a new share house and think I may be a good fit, please feel free to contact me. Cheers! Dan
I'm mature and professionally focused. I don't spend much time at home but I always clean and pay rent on time. I'm low maintenance, very nice and i'm easy to get along with. I'm fitness focused and am a qualified PT, but I have temporarily left the industry. I work full time in the public service. I don't smoke, drink, do drugs, have a pet or throw parties. My girlfriend will be over some of the time, but I spend most weekends at her house. I know what sharehouses and flat shares are like, having lived in a few, so i respect peoples space and clean up and do my part of the housework. I'm also pretty great :)
Hi, I'm Mon! I'm a 25yo friendly full-time Canberra Hospital trainee. I like reading, craftsy-things and nature - I'm not particularly wild haha Looking for a place to stay in Canberra (closer to Canberra Hospital the better, but I'm flexible) for 6 months. Would prefer an all-female household. :)
I'm a student at UC studying medical imaging. I am quiet, tidy and like crafts, cooking and the outdoors. I enjoy my own space but am not opposed to sharing a meal or Netflix marathon. Looking to move before semester 1 next year. Looking anywhere from Woden to Gungahlin.
Hey there, my name's Ethan and i'm looking for a new bunch of legends to live with! I work full time as a carpenter, but like to spend my free time taking trips down to the coast, riding the mountain bike or enjoying the company of my friends. I've been living in different share house configurations for the last few years, but as I'm sure you know, things change and people move on. I'm very tidy, respectable, and punctual with rent/bill payments. I can provide roomie references from any of my previous share houses if needed!
