Sydney (for the moment) based young professional. I'm clean, tidy and always up for adventure. I love to read, listen to podcasts and to watch stand up comedy. Bonus points if you can talk literature, music, quantum physics, cosmology and/or Neil DeGrasse Tyson. Extra bonus points if we can talk politics and if you've heard of Ira Glass. I'll be moving to Canberra to take up a new job and looking to meet new people too!
Hi I'm Chanel, working and study, just move 1 year ago from Italy. Looking for a room near work. I'm very chill person not annoying, I like watching movie, cooking and go out with friends. Hope to find a good house mate and good place to live in this experience in Australia. Cheers
Hey My partner and I are moving down to Canberra as he has been transferred down there for work. At present it is a temporary move however it is for the foreseeable future just now. He works full time in demolition and I will be looking for work ASAP having just given up my job in Sydney as a tour guide. As we are new to Canberra we are not too familiar with the suburbs however we think South Canberra would be more suitable for us. We liked the area of Kingston Foreshore with some restaurants and bars to go to so something of this nature is what we are looking for. We are also fairly flexible with move in dates as have some temporary accommodation just now. We are both really easy going people to live with and have lived in numerous share-houses big and small so understand what it means to live with other people. We are ideally looking for a one bedroom apartment or share-house with max 2-3 other people. We are both from Scotland and have lived all around Australia for the last 3.5 years so used to travelling and meeting new people. We are of course fairly sociable although I'm sure like most we also do enjoy time to ourselves too. We tend to go out for dinners and explore places when we can and would enjoy living with other like-minded people.
Considerate, respectful public servant. I like to chill over a beer or a DVD.
Hello!! I'm looking for a room in North Canberra. I work full time as a public servant in the cultural sector and study part time at ANU (art history + curatorship). I have a particular love for film and live music and sew often. I am tidy and respectful of others' space but am also looking for some fun housemates. I'm keen for a backyard so that I can garden and keep a compost bin. I may be young but I've been living independently for a year and have share house experience.
I've recently finished Uni in Melbourne and I'm starting a graduate position in environmental science in early March. The job is based in Canberra but also includes travel overseas and around Australia for short periods of time. I've lived in a share house for the last 4 years and I'm tidy and respectful of communal areas. I enjoy sports, music, movies and most outdoor activities. If you think I would be suitable to live with it would be great if you could get in touch with me.
Hi! I'm a shift worker at The Canberra Hospital. Very clean & tidy person, respectful of others personal space. Flexible with moving dates between April and August. Love all animals - happy to live with pets. I'm a very independent person, spending alot of time at work / gym / with friends, would be ideal to live with other active & independent people. Looking for a relaxed, tidy, peaceful place to live and enjoy life :)
I'm moving to Canberra for my new job with the APS and I'm looking for a share house in Kingston or surrounding suburbs. I'm a non-smoker looking for a friendly house. I respect other people's personal space and always pull my weight when it comes to housework. I don't have any pets but love animals, especially ogs! I'm also interested in teaming up to make a share house.
I am a 22 year old who works full-time in the health field. I am clean and tidy as well as respectful for communal spaces. I am reliable and happy to pull my weight in relation to household chores. I am quite sociable and happy to have a glass of wine and a chat after work. I am also respectful of personal space. I would prefer a room with my own bathroom/ensuite. I currently have a lot of my own furniture from a previous sharehouse and would love to bring these along with me. I would also be happy to start a new sharehouse/ be interested in a team up I would prefer close to The Canberra Hospital. I have no pets myself but I am an animal lover so it wouldn't bother me if the household had pets.

I'm a barista and aspirant musician! My current interests include music, gaming and coffee culture. I mostly like to keep to myself however would usually be up for some chats and hangs! I don't often drink or stay out late on weekends, but I have been known to on occasion. My plan is to get myself settled into the share house life before starting uni full-time in 2018.

I love animals so I'm happy to live in a household with pets. I’m pretty active outside of work with volunteering for various causes and also enjoy hiking and other cool activities. On the other hand, I love a day at home just chilling out crafting, watching Netflix and cross stitching and am more than happy to have company when I’m at home. I'm considerate of other people's space but also enjoy socialising.

I am clean and tidy and I also enjoy cooking. I like to get out on weekends to socialise, however I also value quite time. You will often find me at a cafe enjoying good food with friends. And on special occasions you will often find me on the dance floor 😆💃🏾. I've just moved from Sydney to Canberra to study at ANU this year, and am currently staying with family while I look for accommodation. I'm ready to move now but am flexible with my moving date. I'm a pretty mature individual, and I keep everything (but my sock drawer) tidy. I'm easy to get along with and I'm always up for a chat/being social, but am happy to keep to myself in the house if that's the go. I love sports, particularly netball, and am always up to attend live games/watch matches on telly. I'm open to different locations, though as a Sydneysider who has spent her life traveling and commuting to everything - I'd love to take advantage of the size of Canberra and live somewhere central.
Hi future housemates, My name is Richard, I'm 28 and I have moved to Canberra in January for work with the APS. I've lived in Canberra before so know my way around the place pretty well. I'm very laid back and sociable so get along with just about anyone. I keep pretty active, used to be a keen rower and now have a go at just about anything to stop going stir crazy! I've lived in share houses before so I'm happy living with housemates, doing my bit around the house, chilling out at home and respecting each other's space. I am neat and tidy, non smoker, social drinker but definitely not a huge party animal. Looking for a larger room as I have a King sized bed to accommodate my height.
I am pretty chilled guy. Moving to Canberra for work so don't really know many people. 30yo. Gay. I like to cook and most the time it's edible and always happy to cook for an extra. I like my space but can also hold a chat over dinner and maybe a wine or 3 :) I don't have any ideal flatmate just someone that likes have a laugh and doesn't take life to seriously. I never really know what to say on these things but feel free to ask any questions.
I'm looking for an easy going place to live with my 10 year old cat Steve. I'm a public servant, work full time. I enjoy playing tennis, swimming, reading, cooking & spending time with friends & family.
Hi I'm Greg. I'm 34 and I'm moving to Canberra for work on a 3 month contract (possibly a bit longer) in February. I'm a quiet, easy going guy looking for a nice place to base myself while I'm there. I'm currently living in Sydney with my partner who won't be relocating with me so will be back up here most weekends and will mostly only be around during week (apart from the odd weekend when I'm sick of the 3 hour drive and make him come down to Canberra!) In my spare time I like to do all the usual things - pubs, restaurants, live music, going to the footy, reading - but I'm doing my Masters at ANU at the moment so don't have a lot of spare time anyway!
Hi i'm Anna. I'm relocating from Tamworth (regional NSW) to Canberra for full time work. I'm easy-going, enjoy great food and love to exercise and travel. I'm looking for a centrally located room and have lived in shared accommodation before.
Im Amy, I'm 21 years old and about to start my third year at the ANU (: I'm looking for a laid-back but tidy house, and would love to be living with people who are happy to be mates and have a chat, come on a coast-trip or to accompany me on a late-night Kmart run. Obviously though time alone is also super important and I am understanding and respectful of that. I'm completely happy to answer any questions, so please feel free to send me a message any time (:
Recent uni grad, moving to Canberra for a new job. Looking for a place to call home. Like to stay at home just as much as I like to go out. I have a few friends in Canberra but will be looking to make more and would like a place where it's ok to have them over for a drink or a BBQ (and for you to join us).
Melbournian here moving to Canberra to work in professional services around early March. In my spare time, I’m equally as happy to chill over a glass of wine/cup of coffee or go on random adventures with my friends. I've lived in a few share houses now so I 'get' housemate etiquette and know how to keep a place tidy. Looking for easy going housemates that doesn't mind the occasional communal dinner/drinks but also respect privacy.
Hi all! I am moving to Canberra from Melbourne in February to take up a graduate role in Barton. I love going out for food/drinks, exploring the city, going to the gym, or having chilled nights in at home. I'm very organised and clean, love a bit of cooking at home sometimes and just relaxing on the couch. I'm super excited about moving to Canberra, so would love to live with someone who knows the area well and can show me some cool places!! I am looking for a place to share with 1-2 other people that is new and close to either the City or to Barton. I would prefer to have an ensuite bathroom or my own bathroom. I have no pets, and I don't smoke. Please let me know if I would suit your place!! Caitlin :)

I am independent and like a clean and tidy place. I'll buy food and am happy to share. Im fun and a positive person, not a party animal anymore time has caught up with me lol. I'm trying to save for a deposit so this accomodation will assist with achieving that goal much quicker.
Hey there! I'm Christine, I'm 21, and just moving to Canberra to start a Masters of Laws at ANU. I'm originally from rural NSW, but have just completed my Bachelors in International Development from Sydney Uni. A bit about me: I love anything outdoors and active, hiking, swimming, travel, writing and cooking. I also have experience in being in a share house in London, and student accommodation in Sydney. I'm clean and tidy, and would be looking for people who could be good friends, but I also would be respectful of space. Looking to find a place asap. I've been in contact with a real-estate agent so hopefully could be moving into somewhere soon! If you're interested in teaming up I'd love to hear from you! If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask! Christine :)
Hey, my name's Pheobe. I'm a professional working full time in the city. I'm clean, quiet and respectful but I also enjoy a chat and meeting new people. I have just moved to Canberra from Victoria and am looking for friendly and relaxed people to share with. :)
Hi everyone looking at this I work full time, spend my free time PC gaming and would ideally like someone with similar interests, but it's not necessary. Hoping to come out of this with a friend and not just a flat mate. I come from a boarding school background, so I'm well versed in shared accommodation. I'm young and responsible, looking to push my way into the rental market and get some history behind me. Please let me know if you'd be interested in meeting for a coffee to discuss what the future may hold. Thanks :)
Hey potential roomies! I am moving down from the Gold Coast at the beginning of March for work and I'm super keen on being your flatmate! I'm 22, work full-time in Media and will very much need a spotter at the gym/need to be told the best places to go for a jog.. (not compulsory) My other hobbies include most sports, a lot of travel, cooking to an okay standard, good coffee, surfing badly, anything outdoors really! Preferably, I am looking for someone who is clean, tidy, doesn't mind a drink every now and then... however we all need downtime so that will be respected. I've also got a Netflix subscription so that could be yours at your disposal. Any other questions just drop me a message. Looking forward to meeting your awesome self... I'm hoping to prove my mates that Canberra is more than freezing cold temps and the Raiders!
I am currently a Corporate travel consultant moving into nursing. I am a private person, clean and pay my bills on time. I like gardening, movies, games and good food and exercise. Like a place that is peaceful and relaxed. Like to chat just about anything. My budget and lease term is negotiable for the right place. Cheers
Hey! Mid-20's female looking for a place in the inner north or south. Easy going, neat, friendly and clean. Love playing sports and always looking for my next micro- adventures. You can usually find me out and about on the weekends and playing in a social comp during the week.
Hi! I am a single professional female looking to move to Canberra for a graduate program in late January/early February 2017. I have experience living in a rental and sharehouse, and am a clean, tidy, trustworthy and reliable individual. I will be working full time, and try to lead an active and healthy lifestyle as much as possible. I am a non-smoker and non-drinker. I am quiet but friendly and respectful. I’d be hoping for a short to medium-term lease to start with, though up for a longer lease if things worked out.
I'm Jared, a friendly, respectful, tidy and fun 25 year old environmental science student working fulltime in the public service. I am looking for a room to rent and a new place to call home, in a reasonably central location. I lead a reasonably active and social lifestyle, playing sport, cycling and hiking. I like hanging out around the house/going out for coffee and having a yarn. I am very interested to team up, as I've meet another great person. We're both looking for a third person to find a place with. If you'd like to learn more, don't hesitate to send me a message. Cheers
I'm Katy, born and raised in Perth with an Aussie/Hungarian background. I'm making the move to Canberra to commence as a graduate in the public sector. I am clean, tidy and am after my 'home away from home' where my housemates are mates and enjoy spending time together as well as being respectful of privacy. I am a decent cook, enjoy being active, don't discriminate when it comes to beer, wine or spirits and have a love for all things Scandinavian (yes, my partner even fits that category - but he's not moving with me for now.) I have lived out of home in Perth, Copenhagen (Denmark) and Uppsala (Sweden), where I shared a kitchen with up to 12 people and other common areas with up to 50 so I am no stranger to respecting others and in sharing the housework.
