Hi! I’ve been living in Canberra since the beginning of the year, originally from Brisbane. I work full-time as a mental health professional and am currently training to be a registered psychologist. I’m a natural introvert but love having chats with everyone around me. I also really enjoy the outdoors and being active! I’m looking for a space that is close-ish to work (around Red Hill) and allows me to be able to come home and recharge.
Hello! I am a youth worker but usually work a few different jobs to keep me entertained. (at a bit of a career cross road atm actually) I am pretty arty I have a background in photography and I'm starting to learn how to paint. I am at that age where I still wana be social but also enjoy my own space/ alone time. I am a bit of a neat freak not guna lie! I like a clean non cluttered house with lots of plants! And matching furniture and nice decor matter so much more than it did in my 20s haha. I'm vegetarian, prefer to live with other vegetarians/vegans but not essential. Bit of a hippy but the kind that showers. Meaning I am environmentally conscious but not perfect ( I drive a car) Love music and drinking tea ( I come with a large tea collection!) Don't smoke and rarely drink these days but don't care if you do (as long as smoking isn't inside) I've said a 9 month stay but it would most likely be longer, I usually get out of Canberra for some of winter and travel but if I was happy in the place I was living then I wouldn't move out while I traveled. Racists and homophobes need not apply. I'm an open book so ask anything : )
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=72r32bceDzg :) I'm a public servant (in Canberra!? so original!) looking for a cosy home with open, friendly people - bonus if there's some green space. I'm into outdoor adventures, shooting the breeze over a wine or a vego meal and have a recent obsession with making wonky clay jewellery.
Hi I am Mon, moving to Canberra from Melbourne for work. I work in public sector as a food scientist.
I'm a student studying hard, mainly interested in biology. I'll be working weekends at my part time job as a chef so I'll be away most of the day and studying the rest. I absolutely love to cook, so if you're every keen for a nice roast dinner or pasta, I'm your guy! My father is moving inter-state for a new job so I need to find a place to stay. I'm generally studying hard so I'm quiet and organised. I was an exchange student last year and lived in Denmark for 10 months, and from that I have learned how to get along with a wide range of people and how to live with them too. It's also made me tidy and mature. I've never been big on parties, but I enjoy small gatherings and time spent with good people (or as the Danes would say, Hygge).
Hey I’m Terry, I’m an easy going quiet person looking for a place to share, I'm neat and tidy and work full time. I also have a 1 year old dog called Remmy who is always up for adventure and trained. I enjoy hiking, walking, skiing, gaming and watching Netflix.
Hey! Cute couple (Aussie and Czech) would like to find a place to stay in Canberra asap! Moving for a lined up job. We are nice and easy going, used to living with other people.
Looking for a decent sized room to rent in a share house with a max of three people that’s pet friendly. I have a very placid, loving and toilet trained greyhound that will be joining me. Ideally I’d like it to be in a house and with my own bathroom if possible. Willing to pay up to $300 per week. I’m a working professional and would prefer to live with people doing the same. If anyone has anything going or knows of anyone with something, I’d love to know. I’m clean with both my personal and communal spaces, have experience living in sharehousing and I’m not a party person. I can provide quite a few household items for communal use. About me: Canberra born and bred, creative, love a quiet wine out with friends, hiking, coast adventures and skiing in the winter. I can get along with just about anyone. Thanks ☺️
Hi, I'm a happy and relaxed professional living in Canberra for my busy job. I'm a Senior Research Scientist with NSW Government and in my spare time I am a running and triathlon coach. I travel very frequently with my job, almost every week I am out of town for 2 or 3 days. Then often away on weekends as well. I'm a very neat and tidy, reliable, honest, friendly people person, and a low-maintenance flatmate : ) I don't have pets, but I like animals so pets don't bother me. Cheers. David.
