I'm moving to Canberra from Melbourne to start work as a grad in the public service, looking for somewhere clean and relatively close to work. I mostly just read and watch movies at home, so I'll generally keep to myself, but do also enjoy a chat/drink (and not averse to a good party either if that's your thing). I'm a pretty tidy person, and a non-smoker.
Hello potential house mates! I am looking to team up with some like minded individuals or couples and start up a new house. I am a young professional, a director of a coffee roastery and soon to be cafe. I am very adventurous, enjoy fine dining, obviously coffee obsessed (yes that means a great cup of coffee When you wake up on Sunday hungover - I have a coffee machine), active, wine enthusiast, foodie, respectful of privacy and clean. I am looking for housemates that like to be social, have family dinners and the odd glass of wine and good banter. If this sounds like you then get in contact and let's catch up for a beer.
Hi there! My name is Heather and I am in Canberra teaching sailing full time! I am from Scotland (accent included) and am looking for somewhere to live until the end of May. I am very easygoing and respect the need for privacy but I am also a very sociable person. I am clean, tidy and organised and will always have rent on time!
My name is Hannah and I am moving down from Sydney for a full-time position with the APS In late January. I am a neat and tidy non-smoker, looking for shared accommodation for a minimum period of 1 year. I live a pretty active lifestyle and spend my free time out and about, hanging out with friends, and hitting the gym but will just as happily binge watch some TV from time to time. For the most part, I keep to myself however, my friends consider me a pretty good cook so I am happy to share a drink or meal some evenings to wind down if that’s your style. (As I’m a Canberra newbie, I’m keen to take any hot tips you might have!)
Hi I'm Rithvik! I’m a young professional making the trek up from Melbourne to join the APS, and I’m looking for a share-house to move into by early/mid-February. I’d say I’m easy-going, sociable and always up for a chat/laugh. I believe I’m someone who is considerate of others, neat and more than willing to pull my weight around the house. In my spare time I enjoy seeing live music, watching a bit of Netflix, hanging out with friends, listening to podcasts and keeping active. Looking for a friendly and sociable house.
Hey! My name is Bec, I am 25 years old and originally from Melbourne. I moved up to Canberra last year for a public service job. I have shared before in Melbourne and I'd love to find another place with a homely feel that is social and friendly, but I also appreciate some down time to myself. I am also clean and tidy. In my free time I like cooking, hiking, reading and hanging out with friends. I'll also be studying this year in addition to full time work so that will keep me busy.
Hi, I'm passionate about recycling, helping out, great at fixing things, and have a very sociable Jack Russell who loves attention and a ball. Currently renting in Gungahlin (last 14 months), I work full time in Civic (I.T.), and want to be closer to work so I can ride my bike ($16.70 for parking is ridiculous). I spend some weekends at coast or camping/visiting friends/kids interstate. Looking for a place that has a secure outside yard and a space to park the car.

I'm moving to Canberra from rural NSW but have been living in Sydney for the last few years. I'm about to start a job in real estate at the end of Jan. I'm looking for flatmates to share in a nice, friendly house that respect privacy but are also willing to socialise, I am very easy going, clean and am used to living with others. Message me if you're interested!
I am about to start a full time grad position within the public service and am leaving Brisbane to move to Canberra. I've lived in share accommodation for the past six years and so am very easygoing and clean! I'm always up for a chat but respect people's privacy if they're in the mood to hibernate. I enjoy exploring new places, reading a good book and having a glass of vino!
G’day everyone, I’m a friendly marine biologist who swore to never move back to Canberra when I left there after high school. So, I will keep my word for atleast 5 Years, but after that it’s touch and go. I will be starting full time work for Australian fisheries management authority in February, and I have been travelling the last 6 months, so may take some time getting used to having a schedule again, let alone not living the uni lifestyle. Expect complaining about how hard my life is for the first few weeks (just kidding, probably) Usually do something adventurous on the weekends, summer will likely be spent at the coast where my grandparents have a little place, which you would be more than welcome to use if we become buddies. I will likely be surfing and or diving during these times, until footy comes around. Also, please let the record show that I will try and drag you to gigs whenever good music comes to Canberra. Feel free to message me on this, I’m currently living in Norway so email or this is the best form of contact. I’ll be moving back to Canberra at the start of feb, but if I find something I really like then I may be inclined to pay a little bit of dead rent to secure it :) Cheers
We are a fun couple who are looking for roommates who would enjoy an evening conversation over a bottle of wine. We are polite individuals who respect the privacy of others and appreciate our own down time. We are both full time students in permanent part-time employment, making us very busy during the working week. Our interests include cooking, playing pool, sports, watching movies, music and reading. If we sound like a good fit, we look forward to hearing from you.
Hey, I'm Rich and am moving down to Canberra from Sydney in the new year to begin a graduate role with the Department of Finance. I'm looking for a place with some friendly housemates that has convenient public transport to my workplace in Forrest. Ideally I'd prefer a furnished property with an unfurnished private bedroom since I'll be moving my bedroom items with me. I'm relaxed and easy-going but also like to socialise and have a few drinks. I enjoy getting into the outdoors hiking, biking, paddle boarding and kayaking. I also like staying fit through running and going to the gym as well as reading, atrending concerts, watching sport and staying updated with current affairs. I'm clean and tidy and always do my share of the housework.
I'm moving to Canberra for an APS role. I will be working in Greenway so would prefer something nearby, or in woden valley or the inner south region. I would love some friendly housemates who enjoy exploring and casual wines, but also respect personal space and quiet time. I am easygoing and clean up after myself. I enjoy swimming, banter, kayaking, reading and watching TV.
Hi, I'm Cameron. I'm working full time as an electronics engineer and moving for work starting on the 12th of February in Canberra's West, and looking for somewhere to call home. I'm currently living in a sharehouse and you will find me to be friendly, respectful, and easy to get along with. I'll keep the place reasonably tidy and pitch in for chores. I like enough of my own space, and respect that you probably do to, but otherwise tend to be up for a chat, even over a few drinks or a shared meals from time to time. I enjoy nerdy stuff like books and board games, but I also want to get out and explore our illustrious capital. So what am I after? I'd like to be within 20 minutes drive of work, 30 max (and obviously somewhere to park my car). Bonus points if I can cycle within 30-40 minutes too. (Preferred suburbs above are a guide only!) I'm after housemates who are easy to get along with, respectful, reasonably tidy, and will respect my need for enough of my own space and privacy. That said, I'm keen to live somewhere at least somewhat homely, so after housemates who want to hang out sometimes too. It's important that I meet (or at least talk to) all of the current housemates first. Also, I'm not interested in sharing with any couples (sorry!). The house will be big enough that I am able to have space from other people when I need it - whether or not much of that space is in my room. I also have my own bedroom furniture. Like what you see, but more questions? Don't hesitate to ask! I can also get you a reference from a current housemate on request.
I’m Haynes, 24 years old, and from Melbourne! I’m working full-time in the APS (in Barton) and I’m looking to move closer to the city. I've been in Canberra for just over a year, but I’m still keen to explore new venues/bars/restaurants and see what the city has to offer. I'm a very respectful, tidy and happy housemate who loves to be social but can also respect others personal space. I don't have any pets or dependents & I'm interested in securing long-term accommodation. Things I like: - Food festivals - Good coffee (basically a pre-requisite to living in Melbourne) - Reading - Hiking/jogging - Cycling Ideally I'm looking for my own room in a friendly house. I’m interested in a long-term rental close to the city or work – but I’m flexible. Shoot me a message, I’d love to hear from you.
I am a 29 yr old vet, who has recently moved to Canberra from Sydney. I love cooking and baking and sharing whatever I've made. I am always happy to sit and have a chat, but also respect the need for space. I clean up after myself and not opposed to doing whatever dishes there are in the sink. :)
I’m 25, I’m tidy, enjoy the gym, being healthy, hikes and spending time with my horse. I also relaxing, the beach, watching Netflix, a wine, going out for breaky/ dinners. I’m extremely respectful of housemates ensuring I’m always polite and up for a chat.. I usually just fit in and go with the flow of the house :) I currently work full time APS and I run a eyelash business from home therefore I require either a room or small space within an appartment or home to have this set up. My clients usually come after hours and sometimes for a few hours on weekends. If you think this is possible, please let me know!
