Hi,I’m a Italian girl who move to Canberra one year ago. Now i work full time as a chef in a Italian restaurant in Kingston,Agostini’s and I would like to move close to work. I’m a very easy going person, organise and clean. I like spend time with friends but I also enjoy having some quiet time.
Originally from Adelaide, I am moving to Canberra for work. Young professional and recent graduate. I am a clean, friendly and outgoing person but I also like my own privacy and can respect the space of others. I am into all sports, music, riding my bike, spending time with friends and generally have a laugh.
Love living with other people, happy to have a chat and socialise but also to give space. I’m super easygoing and keep my place tidy. I’m originally from Sydney but have lived in Canberra for four years while studying. I’m now working full time on the museum collection at Calthorpes’ House in Red Hill. Later in the year I’ll be starting a Masters course in Glasgow, so that’ll be quite a move! I love travelling, went to Egypt last year because the crowds are down haha. Been working in fine dining during my degree so I love food and wine. I’m looking for a great house to live in with friendly people!
Hi there! I am a mature, professional female in my early 30's looking for a room to rent for approximately 12 months. I am employed full time (APS). I'm looking for mature, friendly housemates and would prefer living with only 1-2 others. I am clean and tidy (but not a fanatic!). Happy for housemate bonding but also enjoy privacy. I have a small, adorable dog who I would love to bring with me (he is an inside/outside dog - non shedding!). About me? I like jigsaw puzzles, the outdoors, reading, playing piano (poorly, but I use headphones), all things animal, comedy/thriller/action movies, and I would like to learn a language this year.
I am currently working part time in a liquor store and studying full time in Interior Design. I am looking for somewhere to live for roughly 2 years. I love to catch up over some wine and cheese or beer and wings! I want to go back packing around Asia after finishing my degree. Also I fancy myself a good cook. 👍 P.s. Because I’m in class or at work most of the time I can only be contacted via sms or message 🙂
Hi my name is Kiara :) I work full time at The Canberra Hospital as an emergency nurse. I am friendly, clean and easy going. I enjoy bouldering, skiing, bushwalking, gardening, dinner parties and going out with friends.
Hey hey! I recently moved here to Canberra I'm an architect i work full time in a contracting company. I'm easy going laid back and artsy type of dude. I love music I like company, I currently live in Deakin in a granny flat and the only reason why I would want to leave is because it's small so basically the whole house is cramped in one room, add to that I would love to be part of a bigger house with housemates :) Thanks a bunch :))
I am easy going & get along with most people. I’ve got friends of all ages! I’m moving to Canberra for a job & want some short term accommodation while I search locally for something for my bf & I to move into (he’s moving down late March /April). I like cycling, hiking & when I’m really desperate for something to do: gym :) I just finished studying so still getting used to all the extra time I have. I’ve previously lived in China, UK & Indonesia. Have travelled to 20+ countries. I’m looking for short term accommodation between 2-4 weeks with private bathroom or ensuite. Preferably max 30min commute by public transport to Civic.
Hello, I am a 24 year old female who would be relocating to Canberra in February for work proposes. I am very easy going and friendly. I like to keep things nice and tidy so that it would not be a hassle to other people. I prefer a good work-life balance so I like socialising and exploring new places or a nice quiet night in. I am very respectful of one's personal space but would not reject a social night with a glass of wine and some food. Please do contact me if I am the housemate you are looking for.
Hi, I'm passionate about recycling, helping out, great at fixing things, and have a very sociable Jack Russell who loves attention and a ball. Currently renting in Gungahlin (last 14 months), I work full time in Civic (I.T.), and want to be closer to work so I can ride my bike ($16.70 for parking is ridiculous). I spend some weekends at coast or camping/visiting friends/kids interstate. Looking for a place that has a secure outside yard and a space to park the car.
I am a public servant relocating from QLD to Canberra for work. I am clean and considerate. I enjoy my alone time, but I am also sociable and look forward to getting to know my flat mates. I love animals, especially dogs. I’m vegetarian but have no objection to living with non-vegetarians, as I believe this is a personal choice. I enjoy a few drinks, but not too many as I like to make the most of the day and get outdoors bushwalking, jogging and doing yoga.
Hello, my name is Debora. I am an independent dance artist (teaching dance, choreography, performance, events) and I also work in hospitality part-time. I am living in Canberra since 2015 and I like it very much. I also like to travel around Australia or overseas to take dance courses, give workshops when possible. I have It/Au Citizencip and every few years I try to visit my family in Italy. I am a quite dinamic person but I also like to have some quite time on my one when at home ( to work and study or meditate). I like nature and to go for walks when I have some time. I am allergic to cats and dogs. I am tidy. Nice to meet you!
Hi! I'm Alex, moving up to Canberra from Adelaide to start a grad job in the APS. I've just finished a business degree at Adelaide uni. I'm easygoing, optimistic and enthusiastic. I'm just as happy meeting new people or spending time with housemates as I am curled up somewhere with a book. I love cooking (pancake Sundays, omelette breakfasts, stew nights anybody?), comedy, hiking, markets, brunch. I also enjoy good banter, puns, camping and relaxed weekend cycling. In my free time I like to read, explore new places and travel - though coming to terms with only four weeks off per year might be a challenge! I'd love to share with interesting, relaxed people who are up for a chat and a glass of wine/bowl of food occasionally. I've lived in sharehouses before and am happy to do my bit to keep a nice home. I've previously worked as a dishwasher and a prep cook - would love somewhere with a good kitchen. I'll be bringing/buying some new gear, too. I also don't smoke and I don't have any pets. Hope to hear from you soon, Alex
I am a 33 year old public servant who moved to Canberra from Melbourne a year ago and am now looking for my own space. I am an introvert and am hoping to commence post-graduate studies this year so am looking for a quiet place with study after work. I am very clean and neat and am a non-smoker. My only vice is my red wine collection and my love of football (soccer), which sees me waking up at all hours to watch live European matches and this year the World Cup in Russia!

I’m a full time professional currently living on the Gold Coast but moving back to Canberra for work. I’m clean, tidy and I’m easy going. I love pilates and being outdoors (although maybe not so much during Canberra winters ha!). I like to socialise and enjoy a glass of wine or 2 but I don’t go crazy and there would be no risk of my throwing wild parties! :)
Clean, quiet, respectful of others. I like to cook, mainly desserts. I have a malamute dog who is friendly, well behaved and house trained. Full time employed in the public service. I like to stay active playing squash and tennis.
Hey Guys I'm a Melburnian taking the plunge and relocating to the ACT for work. I'm a public servant (of course) and will be working within DIBP. I'm an easy going person who wants to make the best out of this Canberra experience and know having a great home and room mate is key. I'm a respectful and courteous person by nature so i'm looking for someone who can reciprocate that too :)
We are a friendly and clean couple who both work full time (Jonas as a mechanic and myself as a consultant). When we're not working we’re at sport or uni, but also enjoy relaxing and finding new places to eat and drink. We're originally from the South Coast so often go home to visit on weekends. We’re looking to move from our current accommodation soon but are flexible with dates.
I'm a 25yr old Canberran and am looking for a group of like-minded people to share a home/apartment/anything with. I work full-time as a consultant and recently finished the last of my studies. A bit about me..I'm easy-going and tidy, like to socialise but I do enjoy a bit of downtime to myself. Also a big fan of wine, big cookups & keeping active. Don't have a specific date, but I guess the sooner the better! I'm also keeping an eye out for rentals around the city/inner north area so if you're interested in teaming up, then send me a message!
Hi, I’m a student from Malaysia looking for a place to stay in Canberra for one month. I’m tidy and easy-going and I also respect your personal space. I go to the gym but also enjoy reading at home or chilling with friends over a cup of coffee or beer.
Hi, I'm Rach, I'm 27 and I'm about to move from Melbourne to Canberra on an interstate transfer (originally from Sydney). I work in the private sector consulting to government, so tends to be long hours during the week, but I'm out and about on the weekends, and looking forward to exploring Canberra! I'm looking for a place to live that's a home rather than just a room - I like my own space as much as the next person but keen to live with people that will become friends as well. In my spare time you can find me watching really bad reality tv (I mean, really bad - I use my brain all day at work and have no desire to do it afterwards) and trying to spend as much time outside as possible (beach, hiking, camping etc.). I've got a bunch of furniture at my place in Melbourne that I can either move up, or sell down here depending on what the place needs - also happy to buy anything that's missing if needed. My move date as agreed with the firm is currently the w/e the 27th of April, but can be flexible for the right place. Would be keen to have a guaranteed room for at least six months, but with a view to stay longer if it's the right fit.
Hey just moved to canberra pretty chilled guy, considerate, clean, cooks, happy to share milk and eggs sorta person, i also have a full house worth of furniture and white goods and a small 1yo beagle who is no drama at all and has grown up around cats and gets along with other animals.
Hey all, I'm pretty much a "what you see is what you get" kinda guy, polite and friendly by nature, I'm also clean tidy and respectful. I love travelling and the outdoors, meeting new people and having great conversations. Having said that, I also understand and respect the need for privacy and expect the same of others. I've moved to Canberra for a career change and now that I'm settled in my new role I'm looking for a nice and convenient place to live. I'm a Frenchman in my early 30s and have been in Australia for about 6 years now, but in Canberra just a few months. In my spare time I like reading, exercising, watching Netflix or playing video games, listening to music or just generally socializing with friends and meeting new people. I also love skiing and the mountains (especially in Europe and Japan), I speak fluent French and English and a little bit of Spanish (and a few words in Japanese) and I'm always up for practicing. That's really all I care to say as I'm that type of person you'll "get" by meeting in person rather than just reading about me preaching about myself. Happy to answer any questions though. All the best! Nic
Hey guys! We have recently moved from Melbourne to Canberra and are looking for a more permanent place inner city. We both work full time, Mia is in retail and Alex is in real estate so we are both out of the house 9-5. Although we are young, we aren't party animals and prefer to stay in and watch a movie with some wine than to go out on the town. Alex plays football so he is gone most Saturdays and trains 3 night a week. We are both clean and tidy people and always make sure we don't leave a mess so would prefer to live with someone who cleans up after themselves too! We are incredibly easy to get along with and both pretty flexible with who and where we live. Please message us if you have a place!
Postgraduate student doing environmental studies in ANU but also working part-time in retail at Woden Westfield. Easygoing and super friendly. Open-minded and respectful person. Fascinate about trying new things and experiencing adventures of life. Love all kinds of outdoor activities but also a fan of movies and TV series. Current housemates accredited ideal housemate type. Searching for good homes to move in sooner or later before May 2018. I have a car and a bike, so parking availability is essential.
Mid 30's professional, from Melbourne moving to Canberra for a 6 month contract within the APS. Will be heading back to Victoria every other weekend where my family is based. Enjoy coffee, beer, cycling and swimming. I consider myself to be neat and tidy and respectful of others privacy. Looking to secure a place with either male or female housemates somewhere not too far from the lake.
I am a busy, full time professional. I am friendly, tidy in shared spaces and outgoing. I have a good rental history and pay everything on time. I enjoy hiking and Netflix. I am looking for an easy going person who would enjoy an occasional pizza or brunch.
G'day, my name is Matt. Just recently moved to Canberra from Brisbane. I'm a young professional working in the ADF. Looking for a lively bunch of young professionals to explore this new city! I'm a very outgoing and lively character, which I probably take after my German Filipino heritage. Love to cook and have a chat, but also respect peoples privacy and space. I'm a big fitness lover which I use to balance out my unhealthy obsession with food, especially brunch on a weekend. I've lived in nearly all the capital cities, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and most recently Brisbane. So, I can now add the nation's capital to the list. I'm a very neat guy so will be more than happy to slot into a chores routine or whatever system you have going!
I’m a full-time worker in the international sales and marketing fields. I’m very friendly, easy-going and respectful of others. Love sharingy hobbies i.e coffee, art, music, cooking, travels and movie with friends. I can make nice coffee and delicious multicultural dishes... and love to share with housemates if you’re keen to try something different. Feel free to send me message if you think I am a good fit of future flatemate. :)
Hey I’m max I moved out of an abusive environment when I was 16 and never looked back, I really want to finish yr 12 at dickson colledge but won’t be able to unless I can find long term accommodation. I was staying with some really nice people but they are moving out of state in two weeks so house has become unavailable, so as soon as a place is available I would move in immediately. I have a job at a wearhouse and work as much as I can. I’m a clean, consider others and hope you can look past the fact I’m 17.
I am a professional working in IT as an analyst and programmer. I am quiet and appreciate my privacy, but also like to be social from time to time. I work long hours during the week and would like to share with a like minded person. As my home is interstate, I will be in Canberra every second weekend. I like to walk, go to the gym, attend music events and the cinema. I am looking for accommodation to share for 3 moths to a year.
