The house has: a well equiped kitchen (with dishwasher, oven, 6 jet stove and microwave); a formal dinning room with a 12 person dinning table (great for dinner parties); a formal living room with a fireplace; open plan kitchen/ family room/dinning room; an in-ground swimming pool; an outdoor table on the patio overlooking the swimming pool; ducted gas heating; ducted gas aircon; good wii-fii internet; a Yamaha piano; and separate electric heaters in each bedroom. The house is relatively new, being about 10 years old, and is well insulated. The property is at the base of Red Hill, which has lots a great walking tracks and a cafe on the top with great views over lake Burley Griffin. Red Hill is arguably one of the best suburbs in Canberra. It is located centrally in the inner-South region, has a lot of the diplomatic residences and Missions (Embassies and High Commissions) and, due to the extra policing, a very low crime rates. Also, Red Hill is close to the bar and restaurants located in Kingston, Kingston Foreshore, Manuka, Griffith, Civic and Braddon. There is a bus that runs directly to Civic via Kingston, Manuka and Braddon one way and directly to Woden the other way.

Government veterinary moving down to Canberra for a temporary transfer for 6 months with working for the RSPCA starting in June. Easy going, tidy and social. Love a cheeky wine but mainly just love chilling at home or getting out for a hike. I have an adorable long haired cat named Casper that I'm hoping to bring with me, he is very lazy but loves attention.
Hey! I've just come back from a working holiday in Queensland and looking to settle in Canberra for a while :) I am a very friendly person and respect others space. I am also keen on dinner and wine nights and the occassional adventure.
Hi! I'm a 21 year old working professional. I currently work full time in Barton and I'm looking for a house share, can be mixed gender, for sometime in early June. I'm flexible on location but preferrably no more than 12-20minutes from Barton. I have no pets either.
I'm 29 yo female, moving from Brisbane to Canberra to start an APS job. I'm looking for a place to settle into while I find my feet. I have a car and some basic furniture from living in a one bedroom, that I can bring if needed but I can just put it in storage. I also have several tv streaming accounts to bring with me. I have lived in share houses previously. I am happy to go between being social and doing my own thing. If some of these things sound like they work for you, let me know!
I am a positive, happy, chill and funny guy from Stockholm, Sweden. Currently I'm studying Master of Laws at Stockholm University and this fall I'm heading to Canberra for my exchange semester. Besides my studies I've been acting and modeling a bit, and also working as a trainee at a law firm. I like being creative. I like to hang out with friends, meet new people, go for walks, barbecuing, museums, movie night and basically doing all those things that makes life a bit better. I hope to find like-minded people who would like to share a flat or a house with me. Make new friendships, helping each other and just hang out a lot, at the same time respect is shown for the others privacy etc.
I'm mature and professionally focused. I don't spend much time at home but I always clean and pay rent on time. I'm low maintenance, very nice and i'm easy to get along with. I'm fitness focused and am a qualified PT, but I have temporarily left the industry. I work full time in the hospitality industry. I don't smoke, drink, do drugs, have a pet or throw parties. My girlfriend will be over some of the time, but I spend most weekends at her house. I know what sharehouses are like, having lived in a few, so i respect peoples space and clean up and do share my part of the housework. I'm also pretty great :)
Hi! I am a 24yo male working full-time as a corporate management consultant. I am social, clean (maybe a bit overly hygienic). Looking for long-term stay, my own bathroom, preferably a garage space. Would like to discuss if pets can be an option for the future :) I am looking to get a doggo.
Hi, my name is Rex, I'm 32 and I work full time as a Financial Systems Consultant in Deakin. I've lived in Canberra since 2000, except for a two year stint abroad in Canada and Scotland. I'm studying my final module to complete my CA, so that keeps me occupied. In what spare time I have I like to learning guitar, play Ice Hockey and catch up with friends. Looking forward to meeting you! Best regards, Rex

Hi I'm Stuart, 28 professional (non-government). I'd say I'm considerate and pretty easy to get along with. I'm clean and like to chef, good with animals, and pretty open and respectful. Will chat for hours if it's not just small talk. After work I usually like to watch a movie or play console games, on weekends I'm generally doing something. I chose Aranda, Cook, Macquarie and O'Connor from the list, but I'd be happy with elsewhere if it's a good place and not too far from central Canberra (e.g. Griffith, Turner, Curtin, Forrest, etc). Happy to chat - send me a message!
Hi - I'm Sarah! I'm a Kiwi who is moving to Canberra to commence a PhD at ANU. I've spent the last few years working and studying around the world, living in Canada and the UK. I'm currently hiking the length of NZ so might not be the fastest at responding to messages, but I'm looking for a wonderful spot to call home when I arrive in Canberra at the end of March. I like to think I'm pretty chill to live with, love being active and outdoors and can be a bit of a science geek. I love the odd tasty beer but don't party much these days (does a pot luck count as a party?!) and am hoping to find similar people to live with.
I'm studying linguistics at ANU, I'm a musician and I love listening to music. I'm quiet but love a chat, drink a lot of tea and love a good book. I've lived in 2 sharehouses so far and have loved it, I'm very easy to live with.
Hello! My name is Zina. Ideally, I'm looking to share a place with one other roommate or two if I can have my own ensuite. I am clean and tidy and respect other peoples belongings and space, but also sociable and friendly. I'm looking to share a place with people who share my values in maintaining a tidy environment and who are conscious of not making loud noise at night (for example, throwing parties all the time or playing loud music).
I am a clean and respectful person who is currently working full time in the city. I am up for conversation with my roommates but also can respect personal space.
I graduated high school last year and I’m looking to move out of my parents home and into Canberra. I enjoy reading, cooking, aikido (martial art), and going on road trips. I’m a bit goofy and up for a good banter every now and then. Currently, I have been offered a full-time position starting within the next few months, but until then I am working casually.
A new Canberra transplant. I've moved down from Sydney recently for a new FT job and a tree change. I'm super chilled, get along well with almost everyone. I intend to spend plenty of time outdoors - even in winter. Happy to share a drink, a meal and a tale but respect the importance of privacy.
27 male, respectable individual. Working Professional, who mostly keeps it to himself but enjoys casual chats at times. Love star gazing - have my own telescope. Recent engineering graduate, so have been a student myself and I will be great with students. Happy to help with your coursework as well at times ;) just ask me nicely. HaHa
I am working as an APS at the Department of Finance. I love nature, watching artistic films and want to get back into reading. I am looking for walking distance to Forrest or a maximum of 20 minute drive to Forrest. I am very flexible and do not require a personal bathroom. Additionally, I am a neat and tidy person.
I am moving to Canberra from Sydney to work in the APS. I am pretty active, gym, enjoy all sports, watching movies, reading and always keen for a nice meal. I am a very relaxed and easy-going person, who is tidy and likes to keep things neat and organised. Happy to chat, socialise and hang out but also respect my housemates need for space and privacy.
My name’s Cherisse and I’m looking for somewhere to live in the ACT or Queanbeyan with housemates who are easygoing and fun. I’m pretty busy so I mostly keep to myself, but I’d love to live with people who share a few drinks or go out from time to time (I love love love karaoke). I’m a freelancer and often work from home, so I need a room with a reasonable amount of privacy and housemates who don’t mind helping me procrastinate through my writers block. Everywhere’s a twenty minute drive from everywhere else in Canberra, so the most important thing for me is finding housemates who are a good fit. Otherwise, I’m into fitness, don’t smoke, like animals and have a healthy fear of spiders. I come with an eight year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Dexter. He’s not very active, so he doesn’t need much space, but he does need secure fencing. He’s adorable, housetrained and loves cuddles and other dogs. I’m open to any sort of lease for any length of time. I’ve got my own furniture, internet and Netflix account, so all I really need is a bedroom. Hit me up if you’ve got a room that might suit me.
Hey there, I'm Rhys! I have just returned from 8 months in England and now looking for a place in Canberra. Not entirely fussed on location but my budget is up to $200 per week for a room big enough for a queen bed. I am 24 years old and will be returning to my full time job as an apprentice plumber once I come back to Canberra (currently living in Sydney with my parents). I'm not boring by any means but I guess I am a typical 24 year old guy - I work hard, I love a beer after work and a few more on weekends, I'm into gridiron and I spend most of my time at home watching Netflix or playing the PS4. I am also quite clean and tidy, can be sociable but can also just keep to myself at times. I'm looking to move to Canberra some time between very late May and early June so would love to find a room available at that time, preferably with some people similar to myself. Thank you!
Hi! My names Martina, I’m 28yrs old and moved to Canberra 18months ago from Queensland. I’m an easy going, quiet and polite person who spends a lot of time at work. I’m respectful of others possessions, belongings and personal space. I’m hoping to find someone with similar traits to live with, who isn’t opposed to hanging out with wine in the evenings or whenever suits.
Public servant in her early 30s looking for a room to rent in a friendly, clean and tidy household somewhere not far from Barton. I will often be travelling interstate on weekends. Happy to take over a lease if need be.
I work Monday to Friday.. I enjoy listening to music and prefer just to chill out on weekends. Looking to join a friendly and welcoming share house. If you have any questions just drop me a message :)
Well hello eligible flatmate! I'm Maddy, I think I'm a great catch, do you think you are too? Are you ready for commitment? OMG you are!? I am too! We have so much in common! My lease ends mid May and after 7 years living in North Canberra, I am ready to take a plunge and go South of the lake wall. I would love to meet some new people who would be keen to find a house together that's somewhat cheap but somewhere we can comfortably call home and be cool with decking it out with awful, incongruous decor. I am a 25 yo policy lawyer & freelance journalist. I am a sprinter and somewhat a powerlifter. I enjoy travelling and hiking. I love a drink and watching a respectable Q & A episode or a shameful MAFS. I would love to be friends with my new housemates. If this sounds like you please don't be shy and shoot me a message. Lets get this ball rolling!
I'm a graduate consultant for IBM, I'll be relocating from Sydney to Canberra for work. I enjoy playing soccer and grabbing coffee on the weekends. I'm a big fan of cooking and eating Korean food. I haven't seen The Bachelor before but I'm willing to give it a try if that's what the other housemates are doing.
Moved to Canberra in 2017 for APS job, and looking for new place after returning in April from six months in Timor-Leste. Easygoing housemate who is happy to be social but also appreciates when everyone needs their space. Neat and tidy. Big reader, occasional runner.. have recently discovered love of diving just before moving back to an inland city.
Hello! I'm currently working full time for ACT health. I'm an easygoing and tidy flatmate. I've lived in share houses for the past 5 years. I enjoy catching up over dinner/drinks but also respectful of others' space. Please feel free to message me with any questions and we can chat further. Thanks!
