Hi there, I’m Bharathy. I’m a young professional working full-time in the public sector and am moving to Ballarat for 6 months with work. In between working, I enjoy bike riding, hiking, rock climbing, good books and good wine. I'm a tidy, responsible and easy-going person, respectful of personal space, but always up for a chat over coffee/drinks. Looking to move out mid-late June, just firming up dates with work, but am fairly flexible.
About the house: I have a furnished house with everything you might need. One of my spare bedrooms has a single bed and one is unfurnished. I’m open to making the master bedroom available to you (for extra). The house has gas heating and an air conditioner in the living room. There are robes in every room and lots of bathroom storage too. Bathroom has Bath and shower and a heat lamp. Toilet separate. The kitchen has electric cooking and lots of cupboard space. There’s a 1 car garage that I don’t use. I have unlimited wifi internet. I’m hoping to find 1 to 2 housemates to share the house. I started my 12 month lease on Sep 1st.
This property is spacious with a big yard and Garage, so heaps of storage. We are an easy going couple so as long as you are too then we will get along with most people. You will have your own bathroom until we get another housemate which you will have a say in. We hope to meet sociable people to make it a happy home but happy to do our own thing too. You will also get two dogs to pat for free.
We are a recently retired couple (ex teacher and social worker) offering a Homestay room in a quiet home. Students or others who need a calm environment will be most at home with us. The house is in walking distance to the CBD but is also on two bus routes into the city. It has central heating and air conditioning for comfort year-round. The room is large and comfortable, furnished with everything you will need for your stay. Bathroom shared with one other, currently a year 12 high school student. Included in the rent: ~ Unlimited internet access ~ Meals ~ Utilities ~ Unlimited affection from our old but frisky dog (little poodle)
The house is only a few years old and is in great condition. The house features ducted heating and evaporative air conditioning. Central location, 10-minute walk to Sturt St and very short drive to the centre of Ballarat. Close proximity to several supermarkets (Maxi, Woolworths, Aldi), ACU and Lake Wendouree. The house is quite a low maintenance house, with relatively low maintenance gardens Excluding the bedroom that is available, the house is entirely furnished. Washing machine, fridge, oven etc.
Large, art deco style house, large rooms, furnished or unfurnished bedroom available. Lovely, large rear garden. Central heating, close to parks and shops. Lovely, tree-lined street in quiet, well-established neighbourhood. Loads of storage space. Separate toilet. Short drive to Maxi Foods supermarket. I am an easygoing 41-year-old female, am self-employed and full-time student. Currently split my time between Ballarat and Melbs. I have a small dog, she's friendly, clean and quiet.
Private upstairs rooms. Study with TV. Own bathroom. Very clean and a couple of minutes drive from hospitals. Walking distance to city shopping. Bus stop one minute walk away. Very clean, bright and quiet. Husband and I live downstairs and both of us are respectful of others in the house. We are both non drinkers and non smokers. Local gym is a short walk away too. Possible flat mate/s must be clean and tidy. Ideal for nursing students wanting short term accomodation. Can accomodate two if necessary.
This is a fantastic, quiet home in Ballarat Central. The shops are an easy walk or drive away, the Base hospital is a 5 min walk and the train station is a 5-10 min drive away. We have ducted heating, air con, cable NBN, laundry with washing machine, fully furnished kitchen, dining room and lounge. The bedroom available for rent is a large room with walk in wardrobe and ensuite. In addition, we have two elderly cats who stay outside during the day and inside at night. They are afraid of other animals, so we unfortunately cannot have any other pets.

I've just finished a Bachelor degree and am currently deciding what to do next. I have a casual job. In my spare time I like to read books, I also like to go for walks in nature, listen to music and I do yoga. I'm an open minded person and I love learning about people. I've never had any trouble paying rent on time.
Hi all! My names Kim & I'm looking for a room to rent in Ballarat. I am currently living in Geelong but have been offered a full time position in Ballarat doing shift work. I have previously lived in a share house before, so I can easily adapt if my fellow housemates want to have a chat or simply want some alone time. I'm fun, very easy going; I'm clean & tidy & I enjoy going to the gym on a regular basis. If the room was to have an ensuite that would be a bonus but I’m not relatively fussed as long as it has a good amount of storage. Also, if your share house has fur babies then I am well and truly okay with that! Please feel free to send me a message if you are looking for an easy going housemate & think I'd be a great fit for your house. Thanks so much, Kimberly
Honest, Reliable, friendly. Moving to Ballarat for professional fulltime emoloyment. Seeking similar in housemates. I enjoy healthy eating and exercise, and outings with friends and family. Would prefer to move into an established home environment for a temporary period.
Hello, My name is Alice. I've lived in Ballarat for 5 years now, originally I lived in Albury/Wodonga area where i grew up. I'd moved to Ballarat to study Welfare and have completed my bachelor around 2 years ago. I am currently working full time in welfare/social work locally in Ballarat and often i spend my weekends re-charging at home. I am quite easy to live with, I am a quiet person, and keep to myself quite a bit. I am out of the house majority of the week, and when i'm home i'm usually super tired and quiet! I am very respectful other other people. I won't be intrusive on your life or what you get up too, unless it effects me, then i may ask a few question's. I like to keep my space pretty clean and am more than happy to share responsibilities in the household (of course). I love nature and bush walking when i have the time, or a casual walk around the Lake otherwise. I love music and i'll always be listening to Spotify, guaranteed!! I enjoy having some drinks and banter occasionally too, so i'd be more than happy to socialize with mates that come over. I am studying Bowen Therapy this year. From April on-wards and will be spending one weekend each month away in Melbourne. It's a soft tissue therapy (helps heaps with pain), and I will always need people to practice on. You can be a trial body, if you're lucky! I am single, and i do not own any pet's. I wish to bring my own bed and furniture for my room. I have a few other household item's that i will need to bring but can negotiate depending on the space available. Perhaps some storage space for some arm chairs if possible. I currently live with two friends. We're all moving direction this year due to new job's and changing of situation's. I am looking for somewhere to live for a year or so, and i am planning to build or buy my own house in the next few years. I am not completely certain on a move out date of my current location, so I'm looking for somewhere that might be able to have flexibility on this. If you have any other questions please just ask me! :)
I'm a 25 year old healthcare professional who will be relocating from Melbourne to work full-time at the ballarat base hospital. I'm pretty easy going and social, yet at the same time I am very considerate and reliable. Hoping to find like minded people.
Hi! I’m Georgia. I’m a full-time student currently studying a Bachelor of Medical Imaging at Deakin University in Geelong. I am required to undertake a 6 week placement at the Ballarat Base hospital from 17/09/18 until 26/10/18 and will require accommodation from 15/09/18 until my last day of placement. Unfortunately there are not many short-term accommodation options available for students. I am happy to pay a higher weekly rate to compensate for the short period of stay but my maximum budget is $200 a week. I currently live in a student share house in Geelong and get along well with all my housemates. I am neat and tidy and always clean up after myself before leaving common areas. I will be spending everyday on placement at the hospital and most evenings studying but would be happy to socialise with any housemates that are up for it. I will be returning to Geelong on the weekends to work at my part-time job to ensure I can pay the bills while I’m on placement 👍🏽 I’d be extremely grateful to anyone who is willing to allow me a short-term stay even though it is not ideal.
I'm friendly and tidy. I will be working full time as a solicitor in Ballarat. In my down time I like to get active or get involved in activities in the area, but equally enjoy indoor downtime and chilling on the couch on a Saturday night. Really easy going and open to living with whoever else is keen.
I'm extremely reliable, quiet, hardworking and well behaved! I'm very neat and organized! Im super flexible! I have a well behaved, litter trained inside kitty cat! If I absolutely have to I might be considering relocating her if I need to, so don't hesitate to message me! This first time paying rent either! I will be working after my second operation which is next month, in the meantime I am receiving $500+ a fortnight and will be for years to come so money isn't much of an issue right now.
