International student from India. Will be moving to Melbourne for pursuing my masters at Victoria University. Looking for a friendly and co-operating flatmate. I tend to adjust to my flatmates living style. Don't have any specific requirements as such. Since I am completely new to the place would want the rent to be as economical as possible. Led Zeppelin Fan and we could have a Zeppathon every weekend. Don't worry I do listen to all kind of music. Would need help initially in settling down and understanding the routes in the city with their help.

It's peaceful and unique. An old 1800's cottage that has been added to over the years. Full of charm. Only 2 minutes drive from shops and supermarkets and 10 minute drive from Bendigo..... 5 acres in a rambling bush setting 10 minutes out of Bendigo. How's the serenity. 😊

Furnished room in a share house

Being only a 10 minute drive from the Bendigo CBD, but all the perks of country living, with a big house, on a big block, with trees and a garden, make this place great. There are 4/5 bedrooms in the house, but we are looking to only fill the 3rd one (after Geoff in one room and Me in another), leaving plenty of room for guests and friends to visit. All bedrooms are of a good size. The bedroom that will become vacant soon and could be yours, because our housemate and friend is finishing her work time in Bendigo and moving back to Melbourne, is fully furnished. It has a queen bed, a free standing robe, a dresser and bedside table. Everything you could need. The whole house and every room has good ducted heating, so warm in winter, and evaporative cooling , so will be great in summer too. There is only one shower in the house to be shared between the three of us, but there is two toilets, so no worries and being locked out of the bathroom and needing a loo. The backyard and undercover area of the house is a real highlight!! There is a trampoline, a swing, a greenhouse, exensive gardens, two fire pits, and an extensive undercover area, which has a outdoor lounge suite, a table and chairs set, a bar fridge as well as a bar table and chair set, great for mornings and brunch!! We love entertaining!! oooo, there is also two double hammocks!! Im hoping to get a freestanding small inflatable pool thing for summer too!! Your welcome to use all or none of the backyard, if its not your thing! The house has a very normal kitchen set up, which flows into the dining area, then a very large open living area, with the all important Tv and bar!! There is a second living area as well which has a fouton, a couch, a small desk and a TV, for those time you want to get away, get some sun (that room have the best winter sun) or just chill. Most importantly there is a house cat called Zari. She is a Blue Russion mix! She is an indoor only cat, and loves pats and sitting on laps, not so much being picked up, but not many cats do!! SO if you hate cats, or are allergic, this might not be the best fit for you. There is undercover parking for two cars, partial undercover parking for one other car, and open parking for a fourth. First in Best park is our rules :D Only really in the deep of winter are the undercover parks fought for :P no one likes scraping off frost from their windscreen :P There is also a washing machine and dryer, and all the kitchen appliances you could think of! I love cooking. In terms of bills, Unlimited internet is included in the rent, but bills are evenly split between the three of us as they arrive, They roughly work out to be $15 a week, a little less sometimes or a little more, depending on season :D. So I guess you could say its roughly $165 a week for the rent and bills all included. Im sure there are things I have forgotten, so feel free to read on, or contact us to meet up and have a look through the house. Also, as we have another guest room, if you need to move earlier than the 28th of August, we can arrange for you to temporarily stay in the guest bedroom (also fully furnished) until the other room becomes available. We are looking for a longer term housemates (at least 6 months), so if you are looking for only a couple of months, then this may also not be the best fit.

Looking in: Lake Wendouree, Lucas, Redan, Golden Point, Eureka, Brown Hill, Mount Pleasant, Ballarat East, Golden Point, Ballarat Central, Newington, Ballarat, Bakery Hill, Golden Point, Canadian, Ballarat North, Black Hill, Soldiers Hill

Oh hi! Now that I have your attention, I'm looking for a room around Ballarat from approximately the 12th August (or 26th). I'm open to living either near the CBD so i can walk to work, or in the nearby surrounding suburbs. A bit about me: I'm a 28-year-old male journalist currently working in Mildura (but living in Melbourne). I'm quite relaxed and easy going, friendly with people from all walks of life, a tidy and neat-conscious person, well aware of other people's space, and most of all I love an adventure. I currently live with 3 females and have lived with a mix of guys and gals before. I'm a bit of a sports nerd, love being active in social sport teams (anything from footy, to basketball to lacrosse to tennis or cycling). I also take a lot of photos (not the selfie kind) as that's my other passion outside of work. I'm also big on going to gigs across a lot of different genres, especially punk. I also love all animals so if you have a pet, then that's a bonus! I have a lot of existing items already including my own bed, couch, TV, kitchen items, etc. So I'm pretty self sufficient in terms of furnishings. Having said that, if there's a furnished house or flat that's always a bonus. I often like to come and go when I need to as I'm a fairly social person outside my four walls. I am the kind of person that likes to bring a friend over to watch TV, so I like to be social with people and respectful of others in our shared spaces. My budget is about a maximum of $200 per week, but could be flexible if rent included internet, foxtel, gas, electricity, water, etc were added in. I'm originally from Albury, then Hobart, now Melbourne, so I've gotten used to moving recently, but really just hoping to settle in Ballarat at the right place! Ideally, I'm hopeful of living with 1-2 people, young professionals around my age (flexible with that) that have had experience in sharehouses before. If you think I'm the right for your place, I'd love to know more about you, and the surroundings, and any pictures you have of potential rooms and shared spaces. I can provide professional and housemate references where required. Now that you've made it this far, I'd love to know more about YOU and what you're looking for in a place or housemate! Thanks :)
