I am John, 23, and looking for a room to rent in Hobart. Preferably with easy access to CBD. I am a clean, organized and quiet person. I am respectful of other peoples space and happy to help with housework/chores. I pay rent on time. A non smoker and non drinker. Preferred stay: Long term
On offer is a room & board in my family home which is about 6km outside of Richmond (off Grass Tree Hill Rd). There is NO bus service within walking distance from home, but there is a bus service in Richmond town centre. I drive to Hobart most days (I work in the CBD) which takes about 20 - 25 mins. I have plenty of off-street parking. Quiet home on a couple of acres overlooking the Coal Valley. The deal would be no board / rent (but food and internet to be paid by you) in exchange for some childcare when I need to go away for work and some housework (e.g. floors, bathrooms, shared room). I do not go away every week or month - but, there are patches where I may be away for 1-3 nights. I never work over weekends. We have previously had PhD student boarders in Geelong (our last house) and it worked well. You must be friendly and easy going.
Unfurnished room for share $175 per week per person or $230 per couple in a quiet location, excluding all bills, bills will be split by all adults. Nice house, close to Eastland shopping Centre and bus, but having car will be easier. The room is available in 1st of September.

I'm an easy-going guy, who can cook and clean. I'm adventurous guy who enjoys the outdoors, seeing new places and 4WD/camping. I also love basketball and hiking I respect privacy but also enjoy company and down for a chat Happy to live 15min drive from the city as I would have a car and be required to drive to work

I have a big family so used to chipping in and doing my part in the house. I love sports, touch football mainly and being outdoors. I’m also great at cooking and have a pretty easy going nature so won’t be fussed by much

Hi guys, we are looking for a place to stay for 10 days while we wait for our place. We have already found a place but it becomes available on the 16th. Dates would be from the 6th to the 16th. About us, we are a chilean couple, both 27, we spent most of our day working, and just chill and watch movies on our free time. Undemanding guest. Non smokers, no pets. We have a car so parking is a must, dont mind walking a block or 2 if there is no off street parking right in front. For any further information, just message me Sebastian

I graduated from Utas last year and now am focusing on English study for immigration purpose. Already live in Hobart 4 and half years. I have one day lecture per week for the engineering professional year. I am a male single, quiet and no smoker. Moreover, I do not drink. Like chat with people but do not like party machine.
I have just moved to Hobart to start a new job at UTAS. I will be at work and travelling between Launceston and Hobart throughout the week most of the time and love to make the most of my weekends so I probably won't be home all that often to be honest haha. I have lived in share houses for many years now and understand the dynamics of how to make a place good! I appreciate a clean house and am more than happy to do my share of the housework, pay bills/rent on time and chip in for general house costs. I'm looking for a place with people who understand the balance between personal space for time when I have 'shit to get done' and also the ability to hang out and have fun when we all have some free time. I'm more than happy to cook a meal for housemates every now and then and won't get passive aggressive if you steal some of my milk or weetbix, just don't go touching my hummus! Being new to Tassie, I want to get out and explore as much as possible so would love to live with people who have similar interests (hiking, camping, fishing, surfing, exploring etc) but if you're not into that kind of stuff that's fine by me also. Final thing and not important at all, but I would love to live with a doggo or in a place that would consider pets so I could get my own doggo! (This is not a make or break requirement though)
The bedroom that is available is a sunny double room with magnificant mountain views , queen bed , wardrobe , linnen , bedside tables etc. It has a private entrance and private off street car parking. The house is large , bright and sunny with gorgeous mountain views and has just been renovated with a sun terrace, polished floor boards and new bathroom. The bedroom room has views of the mountain and comes fully furnished with modern dimable lighting and heating. The house is fully insulated so is warm. The social spaces and kitchen are well laid out so there is lots of space to cook and spaces to go and be quite if you dont want to socialise with others. We are really close to the CBD only 10 minutes , transport 2 minutes from the door , off street private parking for your car. Shops are walking distance as is the waterfront and parks.
My house is a light comfortable little nook in a convenient suburb. Once on the Brooker Highway it is 8 minutes to town in steady traffic. I work full time and live a pretty quiet life. I am out of the house between 8am and 6.30pm week days and have a quiet routine around the house with my dog on the weekends. My dog Molly goes to care while I'm at work. The room has a queen sized bed, woolen doona and afternoon sunshine. The share bathroom is newly renovated as is the kitchen. There is a heat pump in the lounge that keeps the house warm and cosy. Internet is included in the rent. Power is additional. I have 'pay as you go' power and in winter it is roughly $10 per day. A contribution to a portion of this would be expected.
My current flatmates are moving out and i am looking to fill my three bedroom house with a new one leaving us with a spare bedroom.
