My partner and I run a mobile food stall and are expecting a baby. We need someone who is cool with kids and has lots of storage space. Bonus is there is always good food around.
Hey I'm Jared. I am in my final of year of a PhD in environmental science. I spend my free time running, hiking, or reading and drawing. I work a retail job on the side of my studies to keep a little extra coming in each week. My first preference is to find a room in a sharehouse (unfurnished), but if you think we may get along, I'm happy to look for properties with others too. I'm not in an urgent rush just yet, but I need to find a new place by March 2019. I require a medium-large room due to having a large desk. Hoping to find a place under $200 a week, but flexible too. I'm not one to go out partying, so I would prefer a quieter household. I have no problems with a social house though!
Hello 👋 I’m Kaitlin a 21 year old music student and hospitality worker, I’m a relaxed, friendly, and clean person that loves a chat, as well as some alone time. I have a beautiful 1 year old dog named Ellie, she’s a well trained clean puppy that loves to sit on top of you for love, I’m looking for a place with a back yard preferably with high fences as she easily gets excited and can turn into a kangaroo. I’m also keen to team up and look for houses to start a new share house. Super keen to hear from you!
Reliable, honest, enjoy peace and quiet, but sociable too. I am a local professional, spent many years in Hobart and lived all around Australia and overseas. I’m neat and tidy and have been described as a ‘dream house-mate’ 😬
A common Brazilian couple. Me and my partner are very organized and responsible, so we will always keep a nice and clean environment. We like to travel, have fun and meet new people, so we would be a good company to party, do trips together, play sports (surfing, snowboarding, soccer, football, volleyball etc.), or just for chatting and having a beer or a "caipirinha" :) We are looking for a shared house (preferably) or apartment, with friendly people and preferably near to TasTAFE.
I am a 26 year old health professional. Relocating in late February 2019 Clean & easy going. I enjoy the occasional drink / social night but mostly keep to myself. Keen outdoor adventurer (mostly hiking) and just starting to get into bouldering. Looking for a house that feels like a home; preferably within 15-20minute drive of Hobart (bonus points for mountain views!)
Hey, I’m Taleesha (tend to go by TK more than anything) and I’m 19! Currently Launceston residing but a change of circumstances is requiring me to make the move to Hobart! I’m currently unemployed as I’m hoping to land a job down south as there are more opportunities available (hence the move as well as a lease expire). May 8th would be the latest I’d be looking to move so hoping to move somewhere before then. I’m an easy going gal, I love a good time but I also enjoy some down time. I’m respectful of others space and needs but always willing to hang out and bond whenever. I’m a responsible and honest person, I love mellowing to some acoustic music, always up for a chat and giving some advice! I’m looking for a place that’s LGBTQ+ friendly as that is something super important to me. Somewhere close to the city and where I can reside for 12 months or more would be ideal.
I am a peace loving person. Most of my time will spend at work, early start to late finish. I am home for sound sleep and food so would be perfect if its a peaceful place. I am social but at home, I like having a private life. Always been staying away from home so I am good with the house rules, discipline, cleaning, protecting house things. Never had an issuse before. Try me Won't regret. THANK YOU
Hi there! My partner Dan and I are looking for a place to rent for a few months, 6 months or a year! I am a high school teacher and Dan is an electrician. We have a labrador named Huey who is super kind and loves people (literally more than he loves other dogs)! We love going for walks with Huey and to the beach! We also love travelling up the coast of a weekend which we do quite regularly to stay with and see family. We generally like to keep to ourselves but also do not mind chilling out and chatting over coffeeeee (: Please feel free to contact me!
I’m an easy going person, nothing much bothers me and I’m open to anything. I currently work in hospitality but potentially looking to go back and study teaching. I’m looking to move in with someone who will chill but likes their space too. I’ve been living out of home for almost a year so I’m not stranger to living away from home and now I’m looking to move somewhere else as my current living situation doesn’t quite suit me.
We are very mature couple who repeat other people’s life style. We could be friendly and very active but also polite and know when we need to keep the public facility clean enough. We both work as part time and I, myself am looking for full time work right now. I’m working as pharmacy assistant and my husband is graphic designer working at UTAS.
My name is Julia, and my boyfriend is Adam. We are a quiet and tidy couple, very reliable in metting rent and other expenses. We understand the close proximity to our neighbours and will be respectful of their privacy. We are not big on partying, and would prefer to go on a hike and explore the natural beauty that is Tasmania in our free time. I'm from Sweden, on a working holiday, and Adam is from the Gold Coast, Australia. Adam has a full time job working at the hotel Somerset on the Pier, and I have a position at Kathmandu. We are staying in Hobart for another 3-4 months, would love to hear from any likeminded people. Kind regards, Julia and Adam
I'm from Taiwan I'm a graduated electrical engineer from University of Wollongong. I'm planning studying TasTafe of commercial cookery this year in Hobart. I'm very friendly and kind. Love out-door activities. I wish can find some good roommates live together, play together, and enjoy life together ^^ Catch up soon !!
27 year old single male. Working full time in the IT industry. I have a pretty decent involvement with cars/motorsports in my spare time, absolutely huge lover of dogs, the great out doors and anything that involves a smile. Not a huge party goer, I'm getting way too old for that kind of thing. Enjoy hanging with friends, playing the odd game on xbox, hitting the gym or working on cars When it comes to living, I'm quiet (while still having a solid sense of humor) super respectful and very clean. Firm believer in leaving things how you found them so if it was left clean and tidy I too will leave it clean and tidy, I'm really good with general house work but if you leave something in a mess and expect me to personally clean it up for you, this isn't going to work. Looking for somewhere to rent and with someone who shares the same common decency and values
We just arrived to Australia to start our new life here.we are both civil engineer and are looking for a place to stay temporary to find a job
Update: Single female only sorry x Super close to bus services, just a short walk straight down to the highway and there is a very well frequented bus stop Only 10 minutes into the city Also close to Eastlands Great views ! The room available has a built in wardrobe ! Reasonably sized backyard The property has a garage where you can store your car or other stuff if you so desire , plenty of room !
Looking for a roomate to take my second room in a 2 bedroom brick house in Lutana. Bedroom is 4 by 4m with built in wardrobe tv connection. House has large lounge room with kitchen and dining area, Toilet is separate to the bathroom. With off street parking. Myself 29 years old male layed back who loves his sport.
1 large room with an adjoining balcony, large closet and modern bathroom (shared with 1 other) is available. It comes unfurnished. 1 generous sized bedroom is also available as of next week. Also unfurnished it has a large closet and lots of windows that soak up the afternoon sun. Both rooms have a gorgeous view of Mt Wellington. The house has air conditioning upstairs, a large storage closet as well as lots of cupboard space in the kitchen. The pantry allows a shelf each and the laundry room is big for any extra storage! At the water we have a fire pit with seats and an entertaining deck at the entrance of the property. There is a garage to park in if needed but also 3 parking spots if you drive. The house is going in 6 month lease lots once new tenants are found, a bond payment of $300 is required and we go through private landlords. No pets are allowed (fish are ok) and no smoking on the premises. Send me a message to discuss an inspection!
I recently purchased this property in November and after relishing having a house to myself, I’ve decided it’s probably time I look to lease out one of my spare bedrooms. The property is light, bright and airy. Situated in Lutana; the place is a mere 10 minute drive to the CBD, and close to shops, public transport and scenic parks. The room for rent comes furnished, however if you have your own furniture then we could arrange something out. The room features built-ins, a desk, along with new carpets and loads of natural light throughout. The bathroom is small, however the toilet is separate. I feel the place is a perfect size for two people, with ample living space, and a separate kitchen and dining. There is a large backyard to enjoy, with views of the mountain highly prevalent. Off-street parking can be shared, however on-street parking is easily accessible. There is a wood fire; as well as a reverse-cycle heat pump. As this is my property, I am looking for someone who is going to be clean, tidy, reliable and respectful of my things. I sometimes go away for work for days at a time, so I need to know that I can trust you to care for my property as if it were your own. Whilst I enjoy the odd wine, I don’t particularly want to host parties and gatherings when I have work the next day. I want to be able to establish an honest co-tenancy relationship where we can be comfortable to have those chats about cleanliness, energy usage or requests about guests without having to feel awkward! Lastly, I want to enjoy living with you, so if you are fun and easy to get along with, then send me a message! Please note that the pictures are taken from when I bought the house. Obviously it looks slightly different with my furniture, however I just haven't had a chance to take photos as yet!
I’m a travel consultant at Flight Centre and I have a little dog named Narla. I’m working full time and have excellent references after renting with Harcourts. I would be looking for a place that’s unfurnished as I already have my furniture + appliances etc. I’m super friendly + outgoing and very clean + tidy. I would be looking to rent with 1 - 3 other people :)
I pick up after myself, respect other people's privacy and most importantly fun to live with!
