I work full-time in the building and construction industry so means early starts and early finishes and early nights so need a quiet chilled place to come home to. These are NOT shared rooms (we only have private rooms). Definitely not for couples. All bills included. They only thing you'll need to bring with you is linen and your personal items. Everything else is here. We're all active (boys/girls), outgoing and sporty people. We kayak, SUP, run, swim and play all sorts of random sports. You'll quite often find us with a beer and pizza on the lounge having a beer and watching a movie. We're looking for a similar person to come and join in the fun. It's kind of two rooms, the bedroom and an attached Sunroom overlooking iron cove bay. The bedroom has a wicked four poster bed and loads of storage and the sunroom has a big desk and chair for study/work purposes. House itself is of a good standard, has a fire place, big back and front yards, double lock up garage (not for cars, sporting goods storage only), Included in the price of the room is all bills which is a fortnightly cleaner, electricity, water, netflix, fire wood (did I mention we have a fire place?) We have kayaks, stand up paddle board, table tennis,PS4/XBOX one/Wii for mario cart, halo, COD, board games a plenty, darts, bar fridge and an Espresso machine. Basically all the necessities. You wont need to bring anything. It's a very good house, located about 300m from the water on Iron Cove Bay (it's the next suburb over from Drummoyne). nicely furnished with random bits of colour everywhere. It's fully furnished. Has everything that's needed to live rather comfortably... On street parking is available and is somewhat plentiful. NO ONSITE PARKING. We have dogs :) their names are Busta and Prini, both quite young and active. So if you're not a dog person you can stop reading here! Second to that if you're into night clubbing/partying to all hours on a regular basis, please also stop reading here. Third time lucky, if you're a smoker we're probably not keen (there is absolutely no smoking on premises due to health issue of a resident of the house). It is a home and we all like to keep things reasonably tame, respectful and pleasant. Not to say we live like nuns though... Minutes from the bay run, 300m to bus stop and buses direct to the City/Leichardt/University Sydney. We have a cleaner (she's lovely) and gardener (me) so there is not really a lot of maintenance anyone needs to do which is great for us folk that hate doing that stuff. FAQ's Can I stay short term? YES! However, the shortest I will allow is 12 weeks. Can I bring my dog/cat? No sorry, we already have enough pets. Can my girlfriend/boyfriend or other person share the room with me? No sorry. There's already enough people in the house. The odd sleepover is ok, we just don't want a couple to be living in the house. Can I park my car in the garage if I pay extra? No. Possibly a motorbike. Hi I'm a friendly man who is happy to clean up after myself and likes to keep my room fairly tidy. I'm fairly busy doing my own thing but also am pretty social when I'm in the mood. I'm a fairly good cook as I studied to be a chef . I'm working in a French restaurant in Mosman and also selling clothing . I like bbqs and going for walks and to local restaurants and bars . Im a respectful clean social flatmate ,i work 4 nights in traffic control. i love to cook and clean when i'm home so the house will always have a nice aroma of international sweets dishes and the occasional soy wood candles. now i have a two year old kitty called conor who is house trained only ever goes in his litter box or on the toilet like im currently training him to do, Ive introduces him to a back yard so that’s where you’ll find him most of the day or occasionally at night if he’s not in bed with me. all vaccinations up to date desexed and chipped honestly is a beautiful friendly soul who gets on well with other animals including dogs. we would be more than happy to call you're home ours and create
Just coming out of a 12 year relationship and moving back to Sydney for work purposes after living up the coast the last couple of years. Have owned and renovated our last 2 places for the last 8 years. Very handy, can fix or deal with most things. I'm hard-working and sociable, very easy going and easy to get along with. I work full time in the media industry and ideally would love a place with a backyard for my little staffie-cross kelpie who is extremely low-key and chilled out. He's a massive sook but never barks or even whinges. While I love a drink, particularly on weekends, I'm extremely respectful of a peaceful house environment. I'm definitely way past my house party days but a Sunday arvo BBQ or beers watching the footy sounds tops. If you're a household of similar aged professionals please give me a shout! I'd be willing to pay a little extra per week for the use of at least half of a single car garage (but the more space the better) to store a couple of motorbikes, some tools and a bit of camping gear. Would ideally prefer a place where we all threw in a bit to cover the cost of a regular cleaner, but if need be I'm willing to mow a reasonable sized lawn.
