Room for rent at a Beautiful quiet property at Currumbin Valley. Would be living with 3 dogs and a child so must love dogs and kids. Also would need your own transport as it’s quite far out. There is a pool, bbq, Foxtel and ac.
A beautiful and tranquil property amidst gardens and with private access to a creek. There is the oppprtunity to live sustainably, as the house has a composting toilet and solar energy. There are three different living spaces currently available to rent, ranging between $150 and $200 (bills inc.) There is a huge veranda and open, comfortable living spaces. It is a 10 min drive to nimbin and 25 min to lismore. If you are seriously interested, get in contact.
The house is situated on a acreage property on the mountain to the north of the Currumbin Valley rock pools. The surroundings are park like and in complete harmony with nature. It is peaceful and tranquil environment. The views are toward the Tomawin Ranges to the south. Relative to the beach is 12km and the nearest shopping centre is the IGA in Currumbin Waters or the Pines in Elanora, around the 10km. Murwillumbah is only 18km away which is a quick way to go if you are venturing south. The outdoor amenities include a swimming pool, spa and BBQ area. The area for rent is downstairs from my bedroom, with totally separate bedroom, lounge, toilet and shower, so total privacy is not an issue. For mobile reception, you need Telstra, because their signal is the strongest. I do have ADSL2 cable connection with 100GB per month which I am prepared to share pending on usage. I am a clean and tidy person who is very considerate of always leaving the kitchen neat and tidy. I expect the same and the person I want to share with not to shy away from doing a little housework in the common areas to help out. If you have the dreaded smokers habit, then never inside and don't leave your buts around. If you enjoy growing vegetables .. I have garden beds already prepared and would enjoy the company.

I have had the pleasure of lovely short term housemates recently and would like to settle into a routine with someone now... The house is fresh, clean and has a spacious feel. It has a veranda that faces the rural view of hills and the lounge/kitchen space enjoys heaps of abundant light. The place is built for passive solar and is warm and great in winter but attracts breezes as it's set up off the road. There is solar power and high speed internet, which is included in the rent. There is a second room with only drapes that can be shared as an office space, guest/yoga space or a treatment room.... open to translation. The house is furnished with a mixture of the owners things and my own with an Asian overtone including Japanese zen pebble garden and soak bath in the main bathroom which is near the bedroom being offered (I have my own as well). It's a pet free, smoke and drug free home. It's also a shoes off home...
The property is situated in a beautiful, quiet and peaceful neighbourhood, in a cul-de-sac. I feel we have the best of both worlds here - we are close enough to town to be convenient but not right in town to be noisy. We have a nice garden with room to grow your veggies. We also have split cycle air conditioning, a dishwasher, clothes dryer and water filter.
We are looking for a professional, full time employed person to share our house on this very tranquil acreage. This accommodation is on offer for someone looking for short term accommodation only - whilst they are settling in on the Gold Coast and making arrangements for longer term accommodation. The acreage is only 7km from the Pacific Highway, which makes it close to Robina Town Centre and Robina train station. A cleaner comes in regularly and the daily chores to run a smooth household are shared by all occupants. The gardens are maintained by the owners. The house offers plenty of outdoor "chill-out" space and a BBQ. This room accommodates single occupancy, male only - no couples. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate any pets. This is a non smoking house and property and therefor will not suit smokers. If you are looking for tranquility, away from the hustle and bustle of city life, still close to all what Gold Coast offers, and you have the flexible to fit into an existing household - this short term accommodation is for you. It has worked very well in the past for guys transitioning from interstate, emigrants looking for a "soft landing" in a new country, or people waiting for longer term rental properties to come available. This is a fully furnished room and home, thus no storage space. Arrive with your clothes, your food, your car and your surfboard. :)
It only takes 12mins to get from the beach to this hidden little paradise. Rural living with views of surrounding hills as well as a fully renovated large sized bedroom with brand new ensuite make your time at home something special. There's a well worn tennis court to have a hit and giggle along with a salt water pool to enjoy on summer days and nights. Or you might just like spending quiet moments relaxing anywhere around these 9 acres. Generally pretty quiet lifestyle although impromptu gatherings often happen.
Attention nature and the quite life lovers The reason I like living in this home nestled within the rainforest , its quite , peaceful but close to everything the coast has to offer. The beach , Burleigh Heads 13 mins drive , Robina town Center 6 mins drive. With mudgeerabar even closer if you can't be bothered to facing Robina for those bits of shopping.. we have a great little coffee shop in Bonogin itself. Here at home we have heaps of living space inside and out with a pool to chill by. To make this work you will need your own car. We have a cleaner that comes once a week also the pool cleaner monthly.. Foxtel included-if you want your own box in the room there will be an additional fee for the difference. A/C we also have, Also log burner for the few cold weeks we do get here. The Internet I run through a pocket wifi which works for me.. The quality of reception does depend on your phone carrier. If you do Smoke , outside please. The cleaner , and pool bills that come we spilt 50% me and the rest spilt evenly between you and other flat mates. Look forward to seeing you.
lush hinterland oasis far from the madding crowd. the first time i drove up bonogin road, climbing up away from the coast, i breathed the rainforest air and got goosebumps. as i write this, the birds from the forest chirp and squark around the outside of the house, and I can otherwise hear only the occasional distant passing car. this place is mostly great and super chill. my housemate adriana is a mysterious environmental scientist who is barely home cos she's out delivering food. when she is home she is chill and respectful, easy to get along with. i'm a high school teacher who's just finished for the year so I will be lounging around the house like a bohemian layabout for the next couple months the best thing about the house is it's super chill vibe and that it is right in the rainforest, it's definitely not like living in the gold coast. it's also really convenient, it's like 6 minutes to the mudgeeraba shops and ten or so to robina megaland. it has an awesome deck out back that faces into the forest and we feed the birds and you've never seen anything like it. parrots and lorikeets and cockies and finches and kingfishers and bush chooks oh my. it's better than tv. speaking of which there's no shortage of tv, probably even a flat screen to put in yr room if you want. we also have foxtel but we barely watch it. internet here is a bit of a sore point. there's no broadband, so I'm paying mobile data rates til early next year when the nbn arrives sadface. also mobile reception will depend on yr network, i still hafta change mine. so it kinda feels like the edge of civilization in that respect oh did i mention that as well as facing onto the bird-filled rainforest, the deck also looks over our sexy-ass swimming pool? it has a lil waterfall and it even lights up green or blue at night and there's one of those big inflatable flamingoes if you wanna be instagram famous. but the other bad thing is mozzies. there's heckin lots of em, depending on the weather & time of day etc. the house is screened so if we keep the doors shut they mostly stay outside. im gonna try do something abt em but i dont like my chances. the room is pretty lush, super thick carpet and lots & lots of wardrobe space and the fridge has an ice machine. with all that and the inflatable flamingo you can imagine you're a washed up movie star. another downside is the 3 rooms are close together and the walls are kinda thin, so you might hafta be kinda chill and open-minded abt noises you might make and noises you might hear. adriana has an en-suite, so you share a bathroom with me. it's got a bath and the shower is awesome. kitchen's really nice, got a dishwasher & i've got a coffee machine that grinds the beans for you! we've both been around and are housetrained without being uptight about it. so yeah we want someone who's chill and good to talk to and who knows how to clean up after themselves. if you got a pet maybe we can talk abt it, but we're not fenced for outside dogs or anything.
5 mins bike ride to beach, lovely quiet neighbourhood. Room available with private entrance and built in wardrobe. Lots of natural light in and house. Would like a someone who is clean and tidy quiet and respectful. Not a party house. Must like dogs as we have two dogs. No more pets please and no couples. Would suit someone who is fly-in fly-out.
The room for lease is a good double size with a large inbuilt wardrobe and you would have use of the main bathroom and seperate sink/toilet which would only be needed to be shared with an occasional guest. One of the two family rooms is airconditioned so happy to share either depending on temperature or what's on TV. We are currently saving so another air conditioner should be installed shortly. We have a couple of nice outdoor areas with a view, fruit trees and a herb / veggie garden. The house is spacious clean and bright. If this sounds like something you would consider, have bond ($500 neg.) and ability to pay a fortnight in advance please contact me. Open to neg. Approx. $180/week incl. Bills, WIfi, basic ( kitchen, bathroom and laundry supplies).
The large modern, recently renovated house is peaceful, friendly atmosphere, surrounded by beautiful bush blocks. The 5 acre property includes orchard, creek access on one boundary, close to Hinge Dam catchment, local shops in Mudgeeraba 6 minutes by car, large Robina Town Centre 10 minutes by car. The location is in the Mudgeeraba Creek valley with beautiful bush walking, horse riding, bicycling.
Quite - Block back from beach - close to local shop - 20mins from Gold Coast, 15 mins from Byron. No special house rules - flatmates have access to Foxtel, wifi and 3rd bedroom set up as an office.
