Large, spacious, beautiful view, close to Claremont village however definitely in a quiet peaceful part of the suburb. Apologies for the not so great photo quality, however I hope you can see the stunning house on offer here, again, a large house with plenty of room to move, space for an office if you are so inclined, gorgeous views while only being 25-35 minutes out of the CBD.

The bedroom that is available is a sunny double room with magnificant mountain views , queen bed , wardrobe , linnen , bedside tables etc. It has a private entrance at the other end of the house and private off street car parking suitable for a trailer . The property has recently been renovated with polished timber floors , modern low cost lighting, new windows , brand new bathroom and a big timber deck in the process of being built. Its beautifullly sunny all day, facing north with mountain and water views on top of a reserve. The house is surrounded by gardens and lawns with an auto watering system ( low maintenance) and has a big sun terrace off of the sunroom/lounge space: this is in addition to the seperate kitchen and deck area . (so plenty of private space to hang out ) . its a quite household with the feeling of a home not a flatshare party house. its 5 m walk to Prince of wales bay marina and waterfront reserves , jetties , local shops . Bus stop 2 minutes walk. 8 min drive to centre of Hobart CBD and 5 min to Glenorchy and Moonah.

I recently purchased this property in November and after relishing having a house to myself, I’ve decided it’s probably time I look to lease out one of my spare bedrooms. The property is light, bright and airy. Situated in Lutana; the place is a mere 10 minute drive to the CBD, and close to shops, public transport and scenic parks. The room for rent comes furnished, however if you have your own furniture then we could arrange something out. The room features built-ins, a desk, along with new carpets and loads of natural light throughout. The bathroom is small, however the toilet is separate. I feel the place is a perfect size for two people, with ample living space, and a separate kitchen and dining. There is a large backyard to enjoy, with views of the mountain highly prevalent. Off-street parking can be shared, however on-street parking is easily accessible. There is a wood fire; as well as a reverse-cycle heat pump. As this is my property, I am looking for someone who is going to be clean, tidy, reliable and respectful of my things. I sometimes go away for work for days at a time, so I need to know that I can trust you to care for my property as if it were your own. Whilst I enjoy the odd wine, I don’t particularly want to host parties and gatherings when I have work the next day. I want to be able to establish an honest co-tenancy relationship where we can be comfortable to have those chats about cleanliness, energy usage or requests about guests without having to feel awkward! The house has a gorgeous backyard deck area as well as a veranda for entertaining and relaxing in the summer months. We like the house to maintain clean and tidy, and would like someone who is the same, someone who is respectful of noise in the mornings is preferable.
We are on a quiet street with large garden, which we are starting to plant out with natives, fruit trees and vegetables. Your room is large with morning sun - you can choose the size of your bed should you wish. basic furniture also provided but flexible. We run a lovely warm fire during winter which keeps the communal areas cosy. A large functional kitchen and second toilet makes the sharing easier. We are a block away from an express bus into town that works for peak hours during weekdays. Its a 15 minute walk to central Glenorchy where you will find frequent buses into town and uni, as well as shopping malls - you can buy everything your heart desires here! If you are a cyclist it is an easy ride to town on the nearby cycle way. We also have an easy going cat who is very entertaining to live with.
The house is in central of Moonah 5m walk to the shopping centres, banks, restaurants, bus stops… The bathrooms and the kitchen have been renovated about a year ago, so they are still almost new. The double bedroom has 1 king size bed, 2 wardrobes, 1 cupboard and study table. The kitchen has pretty much all cooking equipment. Bottom line, it is a nice house to live in!!

It's 20 mins drive from Hobart Cbd beautiful views and setting. It's quiet and on the edge of bushland. I am currently working on building a garden up for some fresh veggies! It's a creative space and a work in progress.
Lovely almost brand new home, perched up on a hilliside, with a massive deck and great views. The house feels like its in the country, but its minutes from Glenorchy. It has a dishwasher and a large backyard. Room available is a double with carpet and built in wardrobes. You would have full use of the main bathroom which includes a bath, as my room has an ensuite. There is also another double bedroom set up a small an office / extra storage / guests. Please note photos don’t depict current furnishings. Thanks. It’s pet friendly, but sadly I have 2 dogs and another dog requires a kennel licence, so we would consider a cat, bird, fish etc (perhaps not a snake) 😂.

Looking for a nice human (one person) to share with. House is located near the intercity cycleway, New Town Plaza and bus stops. Please note the photographs shown were taken during a previous tenancy so furnishings are different - most basics covered with the exception of a washing machine, toaster and perhaps a small dining table. Open to shuffling things around if you own some furniture already - a larger couch or similar would be great. Bedroom comes unfurnished. Lovely and warm in winter with gas hydronic heating. Panels are throughout the house and temp is adjustable in each room. The front yard has a native garden and the back has fruit trees (apricot, greengage), raspberries, rhubarb and a couple of vege patches that need some tlc. Would be great to find someone keen to contribute some elbow grease to coaxing the garden to it's full potential. There is 1 off street park available. Will require 2 weeks rent paid in advance and 4 weeks bond. References required for landlord who will need to approve any new tenant and lease is for 12 months. You would be sharing with myself and a gentle russian blue cat. I'm a ceramicist and will be studying visual arts full time this year. I also work casually in a bookshop. No additional pets feasible and room not suited to couples. I'm a thoughtful, independent sort. Appreciate having space but happy for a chat or a shared meal sometimes also.
