Hey guys, after living for nearly one and a half years in this amazing shared house I sadly have to move house for work. You will be taking over my room with a double bed, a drawer and a huge build in mirrored wardrobe. Kitchen, laundry room, a small bath room and the huge bright living room are located downstairs in this two level town house. There is a nice little backyard that is ideal for BBQs in the summer. The house is located on a quiet street with street parking available. It is only a two minutes walk from the recreation centre. To get into the city by public transport you can either walk 10 - 15 mins to North Melbourne train station or take tram route 57 right around the corner. Melbourne Uni is only 10 bike minutes away and it would take you only ten minutes walk to cafes and pubs on Errol street.

My beautifully renovated heritage home is in the most ideal location in Melbourne (in my opinion). It is a two second walk to Lygon St in Carlton, a 10 minute walk into Fitzroy, a 10 minute walk into North Melbourne, a 10 minute walk into the CBD. It's super close to everything! The house itself has loads of character and 'WOW' factor. The front of the house is restored to it's original condition, this means however that the bedrooms are very small so if you like big open spaces and like to spend a lot of time in your bedroom or have a lot of stuff, this place probably isn't for you. If your bedroom is just a place to sleep and you're fairly minimal, it will be suitable. The other half of the house is a brand new modern extension, it's all open plan living with an incredible kitchen with lots of space and natural light, if you love cooking and hanging out in the living area it's great. There is also a cute courtyard area out the back with a garden that needs a little TLC so bonus points if you're a green thumb! ;) There is also an original 1800's stable in the backyard that I currently rent out on Airbnb. You are welcome to use this shower/bathroom if you wanted when I don't have guests. There is only 1 bathroom in the main house but it's gorgeous with a shower and bath. I also have a home office that I would be willing to share also if you needed extra space :) There is heating in all bedrooms, underfloor heating and air-conditioning in the dining area. The house is fully furnished so no need to bring anything. Unlimited wifi. What the place lacks in space, is made up for in the design, uniqueness, location and awesome housemate ;)

It's a 3053 address on the Carlton/Fitzroy border, so some of Melbourne's best restaurants and bars, on Brunswick St as well as Lygon St, are about 300m away, or a five-minute walk! Excluding your room, the apartment is fully furnished and includes European laundry in the main bathroom. The balcony is great for entertaining, and we also have access to a communal rooftop BBQ area. Normal prerequisites - clean, tidy and fun but not full-time party crazy - apply.
