LOCATION - Does it get any better than this? We don't think it does. Lygon Street is at your doorstep. Melbourne University is at your doorstep. Walk down Lygon Street and you'll be in the city in 20 minutes. Ride your bike and you'll be there in 10. The Melbourne University tram stop is a 3 minute walk from here - probably the most serviced stop outside of the CBD. Supermarket? Woolworths is a 3 minute walk from home. Feel like being fancy? Try the gourmet shops along Lygon Street. Ice cream? Pidapipo is right outside - did we spell it right? We have no idea. Not ready to convert? You can walk to Messina in just over 20 minutes. RESTAURANTS and CAFEs - Lygon Street is right outside. The little gems off Lygon Street that are even better and not full of tourists are ALSO right outside. Rathdowne Village is a short walk. CBD and Fitzroy are both walking distance. THE TOWNHOUSE - This spacious townhouse is very well set out with lots of shared space in addition to its generous bedrooms with built-in-robes. You've got a large terrace out the back (with a BBQ and outdoor tables). You've got a small terrace on the roof. You've got a large living, dining and kitchen open plan space. You've got an additional space downstairs that could be an additional lounge (although we usually just leave our bicycles there). There are two bathrooms of ample size. The downstairs bathroom is also the laundry with washer and dryer under the bench. You would predominantly be using the upstairs bathroom and sharing it with one other person (although we don't have bathroom allocation rules!). There has never been a townhouse built with this much storage. Period. There are large cupboards throughout the kitchen, in the downstairs open space and in the garage. There are storage shelves along an entire wall. PARKING - There are two garage spaces but we are using them. Sorry! We have visitor permits that run for various time periods (weekend, 24h, 3h) but there are very limited unrestricted street spaces in this area. HEATING AND AIR-CONDITIONING - In the living room with a split system heater/cooler. Upstairs we have a central fan/cooling system. The whole house separately has a gas heating system. INTERNET - We're on the NBN. It's unlimited. We share it. UTILITIES - We split water, gas, electricity and the internet. We also split a cleaner who comes in once each fortnight at the cost of $90 ($30 each). Total utilities bills work out to be around $150 per month (including cleaning). LEASE - You would be joining us on the lease and replacing our outgoing housemate (our lease runs to 15 January 2018).

It is a lovely new and modern apartment, clean and light filled. There is a good sized private decked courtyard. It has great access to several tram lines, and is very close to Royal Children's, Women's and Melbourne Hospital, and Melbourne Uni. I do not yet have Internet there, but will probably organise something soon.
Just 190 with bills included and unlimited internet. Also big gymnasium and swimming pool in the building with a table tennis table and communal are for socialising with other uni students. Tram stop just outside the building and 10 min from the city. Located on lygon st where there are lot of beautiful reastaurants (Italian). Supermarket and multiplex and lots of shops and a very safe area.

Unfortunately one of our housemates has to leave Melbourne and go back to the UK so we have one room available soon in our cosy, light filled 3 storey unit. The room on offer fits a queen bed, has a built in robe and shares a bathroom with two other people. The leaving housemate is willing to leave the room furnished with a queen bed + mattress, shelves and bedside table for a bargain price. Our unit is super homely and has a cute little courtyard complete with veggie garden perfect for taking advantage of the sunny weather before winter sets in. Kitchen and lounge have everything you need including our android TV box which you can use to stream movies and TV shows! We also have a garage which we mainly use to store bikes etc but also has some couches as a little hang out spot. Our unit has the advantage of being on a major road (Flemington Rd) but without the noisy traffic as we are set at the back of the property. We are right on the doorstep of the 57 and 59 trams, taking only 15 mins to get to the city. Flemington Bridge train station is <10 min walk away. Just a couple mins by tram or 15 mins walk to the heart of North Melbourne and 10 min tram ride to Queen Vic markets. Uni Melb is only a 15-20 min walk (depending where your classes are).
