My (almost) 13 year old daughter and myself live in a lovely large old Queenslander in Nambour a couple of streets from the town centre. The offered space consists of a bedroom and own bathroom and personal fridge (as we have 2). It's a fairly large house with several rooms and some furniture. I've got for rent a fully self-contained granny flat underneath my home. Inside is a generous sized single bedroom with built-ins, an air-conditioner and ceiling fan, a bathroom with great water pressure, and a dining/living/lounge open area that has a kitchen off to the side. Kitchen contains a small bar fridge, but no oven. Included is a double bed, bar-fridge and couch that folds-out into a double bed. There is a laundry area outside the unit that at the moment contains a non-functioning washing machine which will be getting replaced with the bond money, as will the bar-fridge to be replaced with a bigger one, unless the new tenant has their own. Pets are not ok, and smoking is to be done out-side only. Just outside the loungeroom window is a small beer garden and clothes line. You would be sharing with Smedley, he is a 57 y/o floor sander who largely sticks to himself. He is also a point of contact as there is no one else living there apart from 1 cat, 1 cockatiel, 1 chook and a transient duck, And it makes sense to meet him when you check out the place anyway.. Pets would be considered as long as the existing fauna and lizards don’t suffer. For the smaller room I would require $130 p/w paid via direct deposit fortnightly, also 2 weeks representing bond so basically $520 to move in then $260 per fortnight. For the double room it’s $160 p/w so $640 to move in, both rooms are unfurnished except for built ins. Power is in Smedleys name and would be split between all. There is no internet provided but you are welcome to sort that out between yourselves. I am the homeowner, currently living in NZ so most contact would made to my partner Jane who lives in Woodford. It’s a ‘shabby shack’ and we are tidying her up as we can afford, very well located just a few minutes walk to Howard St, and Nambour Plaza with the Community centre across the road, 18 minute drive to beaches.
