Take a right for a run or ride into St Kilda on the famous Bayside bike path like we do all the time or take a left on the path to Brighton Baths (100m) where you can swim and train in the gym located there. You can also take a stroll out on the pier for unbelievable sunset views of the city. I'm Looking for a trustworthy individual who is responsible, reliable and clean to share a 2 bedroom first floor apartment in the quiet suburb of Brighton. The property is around a 10 min walk to local well known shopping strips and train stations located in Bay and Church streets. The room is in a beautiful older style 2 bedroom apartment with well kept gardens and secure gates. The apartment has everything you would need, literally just move in! Hello, We are a friendly bunch of professionals looking for a responsible two new Housemates to share our huge historic home, 150 metres stroll to the beach. We have two rooms becoming available from March 10th. There are seven bedrooms upstairs, with only six currently occupied, 2 bathrooms upstairs and 2 down. One room is a small double, while the other is a standard single size. The rooms (when available) are $220 & $230 pw ($953/$996 pcm). Bond is one months rent, reimbursed when leaving. Additional costs are bills at $60 each month, which includes all utilities & wifi. Our home is fully equipped with dining, 2 lounge rooms, clothes washer & dryer, heating and cooling throughout. **NOT AVAILABLE AGAIN UNTIL APRIL** I've lived here for YEARS and I love it. Mainly because it's quiet. It's a villa (not apartment), with a large living area. The kitchen has everything, and the toilet, bath, and shower are all in separate rooms, which is convenient! It's close to train, tram and bus, and the train to the city is only about 15 mins. Glen Huntly Road has shops, bars, cafes and even a cinema. It's also an easy bus or bike ride down to St Kilda/Elwood and the beach. I don't have air conditioning, but have survived without it for years – just something to note. The room currently has a desk and very comfy mattress – it's perfect for shorter stays while you're setting up in Melbourne, and you could even use it as an office in the day by putting the mattress against the wall. Perfect for digital nomads who like a bit more quiet than your usual shared workspace. For longer stays, honestly the mattress is super comfy – or you may want to add a little furniture. My dog is an important member of the house so would like to hear from people who genuinely love dogs and have been around large dogs. Bills are included (elec, gas, internet, water) but I do expect you will contribute to things you use in the house like loo paper, bin bags, and those sorts of general items. Cheers!
The place is on the second level of a group of six units located in Elwood in very close proximity to the beach and the bustling Ormond road which is packed with an abundance of awesome places to grab a bite or something to drink. Elsternwick park is also at the other end of the street and makes for an awesome place to chill out. It is easy to get around by public transport with buses, trams and trains all close by. If you have a car, there is on street parking. The house itself is a 2 bedroom unit, with a living room, kitchen and bathroom. In terms of furnishings, everything except for your room is filled with furniture and appliances. There is a washing machine in the kitchen and a clothesline out the back there is also a laundromat on Ormond road. I have a 50inch TV set up in the living room along with an Xbox and Google home mini (I love my tech).

The house a large cottage style home, nestled in the Urban Oasis of Elwood. We're on the main drag of the cafes/bars and the location is incredible. The beach is a few minutes walk away, while Elsternwick park is around the corner with Elsternwick train station being a ten minute walk. The rooms are large and there is plenty of storage/cupboard space for the third housemate. Our yard provides shading and grassed areas with some hammocks setup for R&R. We have tons of fun together, share a laugh, keep the house clean and absolutely love the place. The bathroom is large with a working spa both for those winter months. All rooms have air con as well as ducted heating throughout the joint. It certainly has a lot of charm in an area that is renowned for its cafes, restaurants and bars.
