Small workers cottage on peaceful cul de sac next to Ithaca Creek. Five minute walk to Waterworks Rd bus-stop, then 10 minute trip into Brisbane CBD. Comfy couches on back deck overlooking garden. Private bedroom with queen-size bed. Buses at the end of the street and up on Waterworks Rd all go straight into the city so very easy to get around if you have no car. Ashgrove Shopping Centre with Woolies, Coles and Aldi and the funkiest cocktail and live music venue in Brisbane - The junk bar- all walking distance. I get a professional cleaner in for 2 hours once a fortnight and pay a gardner to mow the lawns so the place is always looking lovely. My neighbour is planning on some renovations early this year, so I'm willing to negotiate some rent reduction while that's going on, cause it may get a little noisy during the day for a while.

I own a three bedroom house in Paddington which has recently been renovated and is fully furnished. You would be sharing with me (female, late30s). You have a choice of two rooms: One room has air conditioning (pictured) and a huge wardrobe, but is slightly smaller. The larger room opens out onto a deck and has a ceiling fan and wardrobe. The rooms can be furnished or unfurnished. There are two bathrooms, two decks, two living spaces and two dogs (cavoodles). The dogs are very friendly and spend time in the house so you must be a dog lover. The street is quiet and looks out onto a green gully. The living spaces are air conditioned. I work full time and occasionally work from home. I lead a fairly quiet life but often have friends or family over for dinner/drinks/coffee etc. I like to keep the house neat and clean and am looking for someone who is the same. Rent includes bills (electricity, gas, Internet, water). There is loads of street parking on a wide street, right outside the house. House is fully furnished and kitchen over flowing so not suitable for anyone who wants to bring lots of furniture etc with them. Ideally looking for a non-smoker, 30+, social person.
