Hi there, we have two rooms available. The first one is a single room, complete with single bed, comfortable pillowtop CLEAN mattress, all linen included. Double wardrobe with shelving and hanging space. Desk and chair and bedside table and lamp. Comfortable room on the ground floor that catches all then northerly breezes. Bathroom is very big with a big tub and separate shower recess. We have another room with a double bed and own bathroom (toilet and shower). This room is on the top floor and comes with chests of drawers. Again the room catches the northerly breezes. Timber blinds in all bedrooms. We take care of all your linen (but you are free to bring your own if you wish). We supply all the necessities including toilet paper, dishwashing liquid etc. You just need to bring your personal items and bathtowels and groceries. The kitchen has a gas cooktop, dishwasher and there is a spare fridge for all your items too. We also have a big deep chest freezer. The house has a few different living areas including a big , back deck with bbq which you are welcome to use. A big, private backyard. We live a 5-10 min walk from Gaythorne train station and the 390 bus is a 5 minute walk away. Driving to the CBD takes about 10-15min from here. We don't advertise often as we have had some wonderful housemates who have stayed up to 3 years. But they are all moving on so the rooms are up for rent again. We are a professional couple working fulltime and our daughter lives with us, she's in year 11 and is used to having flatmates living with us. We love to cook, go camping, head to the beach, watch DVDs and movies and are open minded and friendly. We are definitely not a party house but we are not uptight either - we look forward to our friday afternoons like everyone! We don't usually charge a bond because we expect you to treat our home as if it were your own. We are tidy people, not complete perfectionists but find living in a tidy environment is better for everyone. TL;DR at the bottom Hi there, We are looking for a new house mate to join us in our house towards the end of April. It is located in Everton Hills and is in close proximity to Brookside shopping complex and the various shops on the corner of Stafford and South Pine road, as well as a few bus and train stops. The house includes a scenic deck that looks toward Brisbane CBD, located 12kms away, a large kitchen, spacious living areas both upstairs and downstairs and lots of storage around the house. Chermside shopping centre is 15 minutes away and there are also several gyms and pools near us. The available room is downstairs and is next to a bathroom with toilet and shower which will rarely be used by anyone else in the house. The room itself is very spacious with a built in wardrobe and shelving and stays cool in the summer with a nice breeze if everything is opened up. A large single garage space is also included which is remote open/close and operates smoothly and quietly. Basic utilities are electricity, water and internet. Electricity and water are billed every quarter and are split equally between everyone and internet is $15/month for unlimited ADSL2+. House work consists basically of vacuuming, mopping, emptying the bins, and taking the bins in and out on bin day. This is a group contribution but there is no strict schedule so it's usually done roughly weekly or whenever it needs to be done and everyone alternates. Weekly rent will be $152.50 per person excluding bills. As a guideline, electricity and water will be around $10 per week and internet is $15 a month each so weekly rent will be around $166. There is an unfurnished bedroom available in our 4 bedroom shared house. This Room will be available from the end of March. The bedroom that is available is located on the middle floor of the house. The house has 3 levels, with 4 bedrooms, 2 car garage (no free spaces but street parking available), some gym equipment in house, a moderate sized backyard with grass and a patio.
