We are a hard working, friendly, professional couple with fur kids (horse and dog). The recently renovated room can be furnished or unfurnished. Rent includes internet, power and water. Agistment is available at $35 per horse/per week, maximum of two horses (preferably gelding/quiet mares considered). Feed/tack shed, washbay, show jumps and cross country fences available for use. Burpengary Equestrian Centre is only 15mins drive away, likewise for Caboolture Show Grounds/QSEC. If relaxing is your style, the huge insulated patio overlooking the property is a great place to unwind after a hard days work!!! Close to major shopping centre and transport. House is located on 5 acre horse property in beautiful Mount Kilcoy with pristine rural views. House is 5 minute drive to Kilcoy township, 15 minutes from Woodford. It is airconditioned, has Foxtel and a carport. There is only one bathroom and toilet which is not large or flash (there has to be a downside!) Other official residents of the house include 3 inside/outside cats, an outside Jack Russell dog, one chook and two horses. Unofficial residents include a variety of wildlife - deer, wallabies, koalas and even an echidna! Another little dog who doesn't chase chooks or cats would be ok. There would also be space for another horse, with the cost of agistment being additional to the rent of the room. There is a shelter yard and small paddock available and shared use of the roundyard and (unfenced) arena.
The property is only a few blocks from Woolworths, cafes/restaurants, a gym and all the necessities. There are great bike/running tracks surrounding the area. I have a double lock up garage that you could share if you have a vehicle. You would also have the main bathroom to yourself. There is a great outdoor entertaining area with a great garden. The house is fully furnished but there is plenty of room if you have your own additional furniture.
