Great location in Essendon, where everything is at arms length. Essentially looking for someone to take over my name on the lease as I'm moving interstate. A relatively new property with a great location and easy accessibility to almost everything. Only a 10 - 15 minute train ride from the city as well as; . Friendly Grocer right across the road, along with Goofies Pizza (they even deliver if you're too lazy to walk over.) . 5 minute drive from Moonee Ponds central (and by extension K-mart). . Great lighting in the rooms as well as blinds that shut it out. . Own air conditioned room and own en suite. . High Speed, reliable internet. . Very open upstairs with plenty of light so it's always warm in the mornings. . Five minute walk away from the train station. . A Bottle-o right across the road emergency booze. . Permit Street Parking is available. Bills have never acceded over $250 a month ( Power, Internet and Gas) and Water is every 3 months (usually around $50). Rent is $233.50 a month and Bond is only $1000. Room is unfurnished but I am looking to sell my bed if you don't have one. We can talk details in person. Truly a great place to live and if I could take it with me I would.

Hello potential housemates. Myself (Sean) and Zoe (humans) and Luka (cat) have a spare bedroom in our 3 bedroom unit which we would like another human to live in. It is a medium sizes room and only a 5 - 10 minute walk to Essendon train station which takes about 20 minutes to get to the CBD. There is also a bus stop on the corner and the 59 tram near Essendon station. There are 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, separate laundry, kitchen, lounge room, and a balcony. Netflix is provided and unlimited internet is split as $20 each. Monthly rent is $525 with bills split 3 ways when they come in.
3 minute walk to Essendon Station and a few nice cafés. Available room comfortably fits a Queen bed and has a built-in mirrored wardrobe. The shared bathroom has a spa bath/shower with storage. Separate toilet. Separate laundry with a cosy balcony for bbq or drying (no dryer). The open living space has heating and cooling. Fully furnished and comfortable with TV, lounge and recliner, but can be reworked if you're a good stylist. The bright modern kitchen has space to multitask with gas cooking, dishwasher and loads of cupboard and bench space with bar stools. $240 includes Unlimited Internet, Netflix and bills except water. I'm here until June 2018 at least, so you may be able to take over the lease after that.
The Area : This property is on a main road but extremely quiet and private with additional storage in the garage and on and off-street parking. It is 7-10 minutes walk from Essendon Train station and trams. In both directions there are cafes, shops and supermarkets (all walking distance). There is a park with a market every Sunday, you'll often see galahs, rosellas and wattlebirds flying around. In general this is a lovely, convenient area, with the only downside being the occasional plane noise. The Home: The room is huge, incredibly spacious with a window into the back yard. It is furnished currently with a luxurious queen bed, wardrobe and a desk and bedside table will be in there soon. The bathroom is brand new and shared, it has a huge shower. No bath. The kitchen is fully equipped with high quality pots and pans, japanese knives and most cooking and baking utensils and equipment. It has all brand new stainless steel appliances and a digital electric cook-top. The lounge room is open with a huge slouch couch, memory foam bean bag, striking geometric artwork and plenty of cat furniture too! There is no television, instead the wall is the television, I have built my own media PC and use a projector. Surround speakers and a coffee table. There is a courtyard with a garden out the back which I am currently working on as I'd like to host some gatherings in the summer. There is a small landing out the front with a seat and full of plants. Washer, dryer, clothes horse and clothes line are all available. The home is littered with abstract and minimal artwork with the kitchen sporting some quirky but adorable food themed pictures. I have 2 cats, who are friendly and non-aggressive, they shed though and this home is not likely to suit someone with allergies. As it seems an unpopular option to include the bills in the rent - $290 including bills or $240 with bills split down the middle.
Set in a beautiful, peaceful street is our home. Fully renovated house with plenty of space and ladies, the wardrobe space is amazing! You'll be sharing with myself (Bec), a primary school teacher, and my friendly cavoodle dog Maggie. We welcome people with non-shedding dogs! House is fully furnished apart from your room with a backyard which is great in summer! New roomie must be clean and tidy. Our home is in a great location - a short walk to the train station and Puckle street. Moonee Ponds is the place to be - cafes, gyms, and a short walk to the Maribyrnong River walking track. Flemington, the Showgrounds a few minutes away and 15 mins into Melbourne Central. I have been here two years and love our house and the area. Room is available now. (No couples).
The TL;DR version: - large room with BIR, unfurnished but we can provide a single bed frame (no mattress) - 3 bedroom house otherwise furnished - 5 min walk to 59 tram, 15 min walk to Glenbervie or Essendon station - Coles and cafes nearby - sharing with 2 female housemates in their 30's, somewhat geeky and like board games - no pets (sorry:( we're gutted, too ) - separate toilet and bathroom - available Sept 4th onwards when we get the keys - 6 month lease (owners will potentially renovate after this period) You: - female aged 25+ - non smoker - reliable with rent and bills - looking for a home, not a party house
One of the girls is moving out to rent with personal friends and this is where we welcome another person to the house. Moving in cost is bond 392+480 1months rent. You will be going on the lease, which is currently month by month. We have an awesome real estate agent who is easy to communicate with. Room available from the 30/09/2017. We are looking for someone who is a heavy sleeper as there can be a bit of noise at night time. Not the best house if you are seeking a career in law, as we do like to have indulge in a bit of recreational Happy hours. You will share the main kitchen with four other people and the bathroom is shared by three people. The house is really big and yes there is 7 of us living under one roof. Rest assured you will get your space. The bedroom you will be be hibernating in is of a reasonable size. You can fit a double bed, drawer and a make shift wardrobe. Its one of the smallest rooms in the houses but it is very affordable. Parties - Sorry we dont do that. While we like to have the occassional drink and have friends over, its not a place for parties, more chill and drink space. Animals - cats are fine (must be desexed-treated fleas-housetrained) may consider other animals. No dogs, sorry i already tried with the landlord and gave me the thumbs down. Main lounge has a big tv that is used mainly for video games, odd occassion there will be a movie night. It has been a victim of Mario Karts lately. Back deck is slowly coming along with outdoor furniture, we do have a BBQ which was used recently, it is a great area for a small bunch of friends and family to visit.

2 rooms available in large house in Essendon from now until our lease expires July 2018 (with potential to move with us into our next house afterwards). Each room has carpet, built in robe, working blinds and access to two separate shared bathrooms (one upstairs, one downstairs, only used by 4 housemates total including yourself as the other rooms have ensuites). Bedrooms are unfurnished, but the rest of the house is comfortably furnished, including a huge lounge room with quiet study space (no TV), generous rumpus room with table tennis, TV and guitar hero, and massive kitchen/dining. It's a gorgeous 80's classic building: massive family home with generous backyard and the coldest floor tiles you've ever walked on in winter (nothing our delicious central heating can't fix). A fully enclosed backyard almost the size of a small town block means room for all those lazy summer BBQs! The house has enough rooms for 8 housemates (currently 6 living here). We love this sense of community and ‘doing life’ with others, and hope you do, too! Between the 2 huge living areas, big kitchen, 4 bathrooms, private bedrooms and massive backyard, there is tons of space for people to go about their lives in a very comfortable fashion without it ever feeling crowded. We like to hang out with a wine or beer and eat together, play board games, and talk about all things weird and wonderful. We enjoy each other's company, but are also really good at enjoying our personal space as well, and respect each other's privacy. We've just adopted a beautiful 6 year old pup who gives the best cuddles in the world. She's the only pet in the household and at least while we get her settled into her new life, we'll have to keep it this way. Unfortunately, we can't accept cats due to allergies. Nearby: Buses going to and from train station, 2 minute walk away 2 km to Essendon station - 25-min walk/3-min drive 2-min walk to IGA, pharmacy/chemist, bar/cafe, pizza, chinese 5-min walk to park, public tennis courts 7-min walk to cafes, 24/7 gym, post office 15-min walk to Maribyrnong River and riverside running/walking trails 5-min drive to Keilor Rd & Mt Alexander Rd with lots of exciting boutiques, stores, salons, eateries and drinkeries! We would love to hear from you. Please message us if you think you could be the perfect fit!
I'm looking to rent the 2nd bedroom in my unit. It's a 3 bedroom unit but the 3rd bedroom is a study. Your room has space for a queen bed. The unit is well maintained and very nice. We would share the 1 bathroom. There is also a nice balcony and a huge terrace for sunbathing or relaxing. The location is super convenient. It's located across the street from the gorgeous Queen's Park, Tram 59 is a 3 min walk and Moonee Ponds Central shops are 8 mins walk. The train station is a 12 min walk.
I am offering my fully-furnished bedroom in a fabulous Moonee Ponds sharehouse for rent while I'm going to overseas for 5 weeks from 23 October Ideally I'd like to find someone to stay for the whole 5 weeks, but I'll also consider shorter stays of at least 3 weeks. The room is really big, around 3x 4m and is furnished with a double bed, chair, wardrobe,of drawers and heater. It has small carpet which was recently dry-cleaned. It has a big north-facing window which looks out onto a grape vine. The house is fully-furnished and is a large historic late 19th century double-fronted brick house with high ceilings and polished floorboards in the common areas. There is a large living room, one large bathroom (plus an outdoor toilet), a dining room and a kitchen with two fridges and gas cooking. There's an external laundry with two washing machines and a Hill's hoist drying rack. We are looking for a female housemate (no couples sorry) who is independent, considerate and friendly. Someone in their 20s or 30s would be ideal. No smokers please, and no pets are allowed. Sharing with three busy females in their 30s; Rowena (full-time worker), Rovena (full-time worker) and Marcela (part-time student and part-time worker). It's a peaceful, independent, considerate and friendly household; we all do our own thing, say hello or have a chat if we bump into each other, but are really independent. In the shared areas we all clean up after ourselves (ie wash dishes straight after cooking) and we have a weekly cleaning roster so each clean the house (vacuuming, mopping floors etc.) once a month. So the house stays clean and tidy with no dramas and everyone contributing. It's a 7-minute walk to Moonee Ponds station (15min from the city) and a 12-minute walk to Moonee Ponds Junction, where there's a bus and a tram straight to Melbourne Uni and other buses and trams going west-east. Off-street parking is available. Rent is $200 per week, including all bills. Hope you'd like to come and check out the house and housemates at "The Pond"!
Amazing apartment with city views from balcony and awesome flatmates to match. Fully set up apartment with fully equipped kitchen and two living areas, three bedrooms and two bathrooms, washer and dyer. Tram stop to the city is right out the door. Your new room is the middle one with built in robe and easily fits a double bed. Surrounding area has plenty of brunch and food options with walking distance, also short drive to Essendon food precinct. Short walk to local shops including, Kmart, Coles, Aldi & Woolworths. Local pool and park is less than 5 minute walk away and great in summer time. Easy street parking. I'm moving states and pretty sad to be leaving this place.
Very big house with huge garden, tram is two mins walk, car park is available. There is a very nice leaving room with wooden stove! Area is very quiet but the busy road with cafe and shop is only two bloks away! Every room is very spacious, you need to come and check it!!
