Access to your room is via the back of the house (private entry). The rate of $175 per week includes bills (water, electricity, rates) WIFI, Netflix. Not included are: meals, washing & heating in winter (if you would like evening meals included for some of the week - we can arrange this. Heating would be an additional small charge depending on your requirements / usage). We have 2 indoor cats and 2 outdoor hens (not roosters). This is a non smoking home. This room would suit an independent guest. There are a number of bus stops available within a 10 minute walk. Lifts into town / back home would be available most weekdays . Your privacy would be respected. You are welcome to socialise with us upstairs - share a meal, watch a movie, chat about your day etc. If you are new to Launceston we would love to show you around a bit and help you settle in (if that's what you'd like).

Trevallyn is a really lovely part of Launceston, my street is great (quiet, leafy green and with a really nice vibe) and my house is very cool! It's well kept and clean, light, bright and with an awesome verandah. There are three bedrooms; I'm in one of them, the second one is waiting for a housemate, and the third is just being used for storage at the moment. The kitchen is super modern and well appointed and big (which is funny really, since I'm not much of a cook). The back yard is really enormous. It's rambling and overgrown, which I will be getting on top of at some point. I've just put in a veggie garden and will be getting chooks in the new year. The room for rent is on the small side but has brand spanking new carpet, freshly painted inbuilt wardrobes and a double bed.
