“Home is not a place, it’s a feeling” From February 1st onwards we will have one Queen Sized fully furnished room to rent as part of our modern, clean 3 Bedroom Unit located in Kepnock Bundaberg. Our unit is situated in a quiet cul de sac amongst a complex of 9 individual units, owned and tenanted by a mix of university students, retirees and couples. All our neighbours are quiet and respectful people. The bedroom we currently have avaliable includes a queen sized bed, a duchess, a sliding wardrobe with ample hanging and storage space, ample power points for your beloved electronics, a ceiling fan, one security screened window to let the fresh air in and a lamp to allow you plenty of extra light plus your very own locked carport and plenty of additional visitor carparks at the top of the estate! In one direction our units faces the CBD and in the other you will feel as though you’re amongst quiet bushland, our unit has quite a unique homely feel despite being only a short distance to schools, a 24HR Gym, Chinese Restaurant, Taxi Rank and Fuel station. Whilst you’re living here you will have the use of an air conditioned communal kitchen and dining/living area with TV and WIFI connectivity, a laundry area that includes an outdoor clothes line and entertaining area equipt with a BBQ, lounge swing and potted garden. The only two things we DON’T have in our unit complex is one a swimming pool, however Bargara Beach is only a 10-15 minute drive by car, where you’re free to swim and surf and it is relatively safe from sharks and the likes, plus NO Foxtel unless you want to set up your own Netflix account which maybe a good idea if you’re an avid movie fan :) Please DO NOT apply if you’re a smoker, heavy drinker, pet owner or a couch surfer! House Rules! 1: Be Respectful Because we live in close proximity to working class families our unit is NOT your typical Party Palace! We do however host the occasional bbq and bonfire, and like to enjoy a cold one respectfully and responsibily, we also host multi cultural dinner parties with our international friends. House is in a very private setting and on the railway line. It is a highset huge queenslander and I do most of my living on the verandah, in my workshop or the garden. Well furnished kitchen, with nearly everything + (even a breadmaker). Gardens tools available for anyone with a green thumb. I'm not a party person but don't mind sociable (and I sleep through good noise). Not averse to a party about once twice per year, but don't mind sociability. Parking isn't the best. Motorbikes easily accomodated but street parking for cars. Pets considered.

Large country size block in Wondunna (1200sq / house 400sq excluding massive work shed) - close to center of Hervey Bay. Two rooms available each has : -Built in robes. -Brand new Queen size bed. -Brand new Mattress (Same is everyone else) -Brand new $150 mite cover. -Brand new linnen doona and pillows. -Ceiling fans. Air con if you leave the door open. -Rent includes all bills including unlimited internet (Telstra ADSL). We have a seven stage water filter ($1200) high quality RO. We have a $1500 Inova Air Air filter (See pictures). This is a 5 bedroom house and we are only sharing two. My dad has his own section of the house down one end with his own lounge room. I have the en-suit master up the other end for the purpose of allowing the bathroom in the en-suit to be common use (total two showers - one a double, two toilets, one exta deep full length bath. Large rapid heat water heater and solar. The house has a total of 18kw of Air conditioning. The design of the house means it can be cooled by fresh air when its practical but by Air con when its a wet sticky oven like today. The living area has 4 ceiling fans and ceiling fans in every room. This helps esp when not using the air con. We just renovated and have a few small things left to do but its finished. We removed all the carpets and have trendy epoxy floors in all rooms now. We also dismantled the air cons to clean them and used non toxic hydrogen peroxide to clean them with. Rest of house: - Brand new 6 seater dining table and chairs. - Two brand new 3 seater couches (Very comfy) - Brand new coffee table unit with Crystals to add warmth (Celenite) - Brand new 55cm Series 9 Smart TV The Laundry has a massive brand new 8kg front loader washer and a brand new same size tumble drier. I can wash my entire queen bed linen and clothes and dry them in under three hours. In the pictures above you can see the massive kitchen. Semi commercial gas stove and oven. Microwave, one of the refrigerators and what you cant see is that we own every gadget possibly needed and have tons of cupboard space to spare. Pantry space - tons too and then we have a second pantry too. Don't forget the new 7 stage reverse osmosis water filter under the sink. We have a double garage and a double roller door work shed. The entire property is fully 6 ft fenced and lock gated. We have sensor lights on all the vulnerable entry points too. Our street is a circle so there is no through traffic and our neighbors watch each others places. We have never ever had a break in. Pets and gardens: We have over 50 sq meters of garden beds we are bringing back to life, and are half way through the new chicken coup. We have 4 chickens laying, 2 19 week old sussex with a friend and 15 chicks just coming off lights. Our egg capacity is currently 3/day which we sell as we are not big egg eaters but you can eat if you want. They are completely organic (Certified feed - two types) and free range the yard destroying the pests even ant colonies. By Mid February we will have our own bee hive. The starter colony arrives late Feb so the first harvest will be July August. We also farm meal worms and soon - crickets etc. For chickens and for insect protein flower for baking.

All house and yard duties are also done myself except your own room. Pool is sparking clean except on windy days a few leaves fall in. Home is large enough for privacy, crossing paths is a rarity except for communal kitchen at times. Sensor lights throughout home so you don't get lost at nightt.
