Hello My wife and i have a large 4 bedroom house and are looking at renting out a furnished room in it, the room has a queen bed & bed side tables also a study desk and chair is available to put in the room if needed. We are also able to clear the room if you would prefer an empty room. You would also have your own bathroom and shower we only need access to this room for the laundry as it is a combined laundry and bathroom but the bathroom and shower would be all yours to use. The house has a large back yard & under cover entertainment area with BBQ and outdoor settings, you will also get your own lock up shed if you have storage items. Located on a safe and quite Street, and walking distance to public transport and only few mins drive to major shopping centre. We are both easy going and work we enjoy to occasionally socialize with friends on the weekend by having a BBQ and few drinks or going out but we are not party animals so would like a housemate that is the same, have a 13 month old daughter and i also have a 7 year old that comes every 2nd weekend to stay. Also a small dog but he lives outside and in garage NOT in the house! We are looking at charging $270 per week which will include all bills and Internet. The only other fee we would like is $60 per fortnight which goes towards a cleaner who will come once every 2 weeks to clean the house and a Gardner who comes to mow the lawns once a month or as needed, so you would not have to worry to much about cleaning or any yard work. the apartment is roomy and comfortable the bedrooms are large with tv included ,with a balcony with great mountain view,not too far from the ocean.It is quiet and private,.cooking is individual, and sharing cleaning is important,though it doesn't take too long as its a compact unit..I am willing to share cost of internet if it is needed. A good sized room, with bed, cupboards, bookshelf and large study desk - I am happy for you to redecorate to some extent.. the only items that cannot be moved from the room is the cupboard - so if you have a double bed, I can remove the single bed. Am happy to remove the bookshelf and desk if not required. The room has french doors onto the front veranda. I have a no smoking and no pets policy, I like a clean place, but I am not a freak about it, I will opt to go out and then get back to the clean up. I am very much an outdoorsy person. The beach is just at the end of the street, and so is the bike track and the area has a very casual feel to living - especially in the summer. The train station is about a 8min walk and the bus a 5min walk.

Also for your use there is a shared clothes line and grassed area which will also be used by us and our very friendly Toy Poodle. A Side entrance with a secure gate with sensor down lights, there is also ample street parking. All of the furniture is very good quality and well looked after such as a Queen size timber bedroom suite with a good quality latex mattress with two bedside drawers, lamps and a tall boy. There are 2 x storage chests and baskets. A large timber cabinet. A two door mirrored robe with shelving, drawers and double hanging. A large wall LCD TV and DVD player. Ceiling fan, exhaust fans, down lights, vertical and double privacy blinds. All linen, appliances, utensils, dinner and glass ware, toaster, kettle and microwave are supplied. Also a heater and dehumidifier. Fully tiled throughout with floor rug. A small table that extends with two dining chairs that can be used as a desk if needed for study. Internet is available for a small fee. We are approximately 1.3 klms walk to the Beach, close to Local Shops, Medical Center, Pharmacy, Petrol Station, Clubs and Gyms. Our street is the first one in Bellambi and an easy paved walk to the station at the end of the street for a train to the City or Wollongong. Easy access to Memorial Drive which takes approx 10 mins to Wollongong and then just up the road to the University. There is plenty of on street parking. Go for a lovely drive along the coast road and experience the Sea Cliff Bridge up to Stanwell Tops and watch the hang gliders. Or travel south to beautiful Shellharbour for the day, the places to visit are unlimited in the beautiful Illawarra. About us and our expectations. We are hard working, friendly & helpful people but are private and respectful. We are extremely clean and house proud and value our home and furnishings. We are looking for someone of the same mindset. It would be expected that whoever stays there keeps the accommodation and the enclosed outdoor area in a very clean and orderly manner. This is a non smoking property. And definitely no pets. There is no parking in our driveway at anytime. The water and electricity are included in the accommodation with the realization of not wasting these resources by leaving them running is a must.
