The home is a very tidy, modern split level, with polished boards and is light and breezy . There is a flight of steps to take you to the huge deck and house. The drive to Coolangatta, Tweed Heads and South Tweed Heads takes approx 12 to 15 minutes.
The house is elevated half way up Currumbin ridge and has 180 views of the bush to the south and the coast to the north east. The block backs on to bush and there's a giant Silver Gum in the backyard where Kenny the Koala visits often. Its about 2 minutes in the car to the beach...or a 3km run if that takes your fancy. The vege garden is going great and I've planted some fruit trees, with more to go in. I have two chickens in the back neighbours coop too so fresh eggs come daily. The available room is the north facing master bedroom with a beautiful bay window and great views. It also has a double built in wardrobe. There's only one bathroom so we would have to share, but its a three way so the toilet and shower are both separate which makes it easy. There is a garage and heaps of dry secure storage room under the house if you have boards, bikes etc. The photos are the ones from the agent when I bought the place, so the furniture has changed and the available room is unfurnished.... but you get the jist.

House is situated about 5 km to Currumbin/Palm Beach. About 2 mins drive to M1 and Pines Shopping Centre. The bedroom can be furnished or unfurnished (fits queen bed) with built in robe. We have a lovely spacious house with wonderful views in Tugun. A large bedroom (queen size bed, a small built-in desk, built in wardrobes, air conditioning and a ceiling fan) is available for a home stay guest. Our previous (overseas) guests have enjoyed the experience, with the last guest asking about returning for another stay. Oh, and we have a solar heated pool too. Around the pool we have a hydroponic system fed by rainwater tanks growing our vegetables, and we have a few chooks to produce eggs. You would be welcome to share our meals, though if this is to happen you would need to contribute to the cost of food, and help us clean afterwards. We share the household chores, and you will be expected keep the spaces you use (room, bathroom, & kitchen) clean and tidy. There is a bathroom next door which would largely be yours, though our son may occasionally share the bathroom. We have allowed for reasonable use of electricity, water, and internet in the weekly rent. A fortnight's rent must be paid punctually at least 14 days in advance, so you will need to pay a month's rent to take the room. We don't want to have to embarrass you by having to ask for money. The last fortnight's advance rent payment will be returned to you at the end of your stay if everything is left clean, tidy, in good condition, and we get the key back.
