Our house, in central Barwon Heads, is close to the river, shops and ocean ... a beautiful place to cycle, walk and swim. The bus stop is 100m away - it's 15 mins to Marshall train station and 15-20 min to Deakin Waurn Ponds. You would need to be extremely responsible of course and love dogs - we are about to get a new labrador puppy. I’m on the the hunt for an awesome housemate to join us in our three bedroom home. The house is only a short walk the Marshall train station, which has buses to Deakin, and is set back from the road in a quiet community style estate. It’s a fairly recent build which features built in wardrobes in all rooms, separate bathroom and toilet, ducted heating and split system cooling. The common areas are fully furnished and bedrooms unfurnished, although I’m sure something could be worked out for epic housemates in need of furnishings. The bedroom is of standard size, so you'll fit a bed and desk. You will need to be added to the lease with the agent and landlords approval, after us tenants give you the tick of approval :) This is not going to be a party house, although it will be social and homely, so please, no hermit crabs. It’s weird when you literally never see the people you live with because they never leave their room. Also not keen on getting the silent treatment when sharing comunal spaces for no apparent reason. The house is fully furnished including your room, however I am able to remove the furnishing from your room if you would like your own stuff. It is a good sized bedroom with lots of closet space and a 1/2 ensuite (shower and basin). The flat has both heating and air-conditioning. There is a small courtyard out back with a hammock and we have some gym equipment in the garage you are more than welcome to use. The flat is owned by my cousin so he doesn't require a bond and we have an open ended lease so it is very flexible in terms of length of stay.
