This is a big luxury two-level almost fully furnished house with pool, spa, butlers pantry & kitchen, two living areas, big bathtub in main bathroom (shared), a deck onto the garden and kitchenette downstairs. Quiet street and lovely secure entrance. It's a great base for living a really enjoyable nurturing life. Bills are around $50/week in total on average (water, gas, electricity, pool chemicals etc). Currently we share the cleaning/garden maintenance. We're open to getting a cleaner and gardener if you don't want to do those things. You will have your own secure garage space. Walking distance to Noosa Junction Shops (3 mins), Noosa Main Beach (15 mins) and Noosa River and Sunshine Beach (30 mins). There are also parks and forest paths nearby. It's a brilliant location - just close enough to enjoy the beaches, cafes, bars and restaurants... and just far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. Cabins for rent – Noosa region Qld. We are looking for two SARBB's (single, active, retired baby boomers) to join our small self-sustainable community on a lush 5 acre farm and rain forest, 20 minutes north of Noosa, close to Lake Cootharaba. Each of the 7 comfortable newly built cabins offer a large living area including ensuite and private patio. Communal areas consist of a delightful Living Pavilion with breezeways and living and dining spaces, a winter-room with fireplace, indoor/outdoor gas and wood fired kitchens, pantry room, tea/coffee kitchen, TV lounge and a visitor's suite. Undercover car parking is available and we have a half cabin cruiser for fishing the local lakes, Noosa River and outside on a calm day. Of the six jobs to be done on the farm; the fruit and veggie gardener is Rose, the fisher is Andy, the kitchen manager who oversees the food and essentials stores and does the communal shopping is Michelle and the small animal carer is Karen. We are hopeful of attracting a panty cook and a handyman. The pantry cook will do the preserving, drying, smoking and dehydrating of the farm's produce for latter consumption and the handyman will do the small repair jobs and maintenance of the communal buildings. If you are interested in one of these positions we would welcome your call and visit. There are two cabins available, one of 36sqm at $150 per week and one of 25sqm plus 15sqm of roofed patio. Ideally you will be a SARBB, a single, active, retired, baby boomer, but these details are flexible for the right person. There is good internet via ADSL2 with TelstraTV, deep spring water and rain water, ample 240V off the grid solar power, 60m of bird and possum proof raised organic veggie gardens, 65 fruit bearing trees and eleven free range chooks. In exchange for very reasonable rents, which includes access to all the produce grown on the farm, water, power, WiFi and the house phone, you will be asked to spend a couple of hours a day doing your choice of jobs and helping to make the community achieve self-sustainability.
