The house - its huge, fully furnished, 5 bedrooms (one is used as an office and storage), 2 large living areas, big open plan kitchen, large outdoor courtyard and bbq area, ducted air con, fireplace and unlimited wifi. The rooms - get loads of sun, has windows on 2 walls so is really light, has ducted aircon, has a wardrobe and carpeted floors. You will need your own bedroom furniture. The house is furnished (excuse the photos, they are our real estate ones) so you wont need anything except stuff for your bedroom, but we have loads of space if you want to bring stuff also. The bond is 2 weeks rent, Utilities are approx $15 a week and we pay as the bills come in. The location - We are on Grant St, 2 mins walk from the train station, 5 mins walk to the beach. The Eric St shops are one street over, Daisies is our local institution across the road for the best coffee and sausage rolls in town. The Cott shops are 3 mins up Stirling Hwy, and the OBH is dangerously close. So it's pretty handy to everything! Our lease is up around the end of November so short term only. We have 2 rooms for rent in a 5 bedroom share house. 1 really large room and the other is a single. The house is situated in Attadale and has views overlooking the river and city. We are situated in a great location close to point Walter and the river, we are a 10 minute drive from Fremantle and 15 minutes from the city. I own a 2 bedroom villa, in a small complex of 8, in walking distance to Melville Plaza, public transport and the river. For students, Murdoch Uni and Notre Dame are a 15 min drive and UWA a 20 min drive. There is a bus stop on Preston Point Road (5 min walk) and on Canning Highway (10 min walk), which get you to the City in 30 mins and to Fremantle in 15 mins. The room comes fully furnished, including TV, new bedding and built in wardrobe. The bed is mine and needs to stay, but feel free to remove any other items from the room, or add to the room with your own belongings. You would be sharing a large bathroom, with separate toilet. There is also a decent sized shaded courtyard out the back that is great during summer. The villa is air conditioned, and, if you own a car, there is additional parking at the back of the complex. Being a villa, storage is limited and so this would suit someone with limited possessions i.e stuff! The kitchen is fully equipped, as is the laundrey and living area, so all you need to do is move in! The complex itself is quiet and well managed. I've lived here for a year now with no issues. I honestly find it a really convenient, central and relaxed place to be based. I also love the Bicton area - its proximity to Freo, some great local cafes, parklands, the river, beach is a short drive away and the area is very safe also. The neighbours in the complex all work or study full time, lead busy lives and keep to themselves. The room would suit a single female, either professional or a full time student, someone clean, quiet and easy going. Rent does not include bills. Bills are split between us as they are received, usually bi-monthly. There is no gas used in the villa and therefore no bills for this service. Alternatively, I am happy to negotiate a weekly rental price inclusive of bills. You will find living costs at my place compare well given the Bicton area.
