Ours is a very large, two storey house on a sizeable farm with cattle and horses. It is rural and quiet with many trees including a small orchard near the house. Bird life is plentiful and varied and we have a resident pea hen. Unfortunately, no pets can be brought onto the property. We are located 10 mins from Gisborne; 15 mins to Bacchus Marsh; 20 mins to Riddells Creek and Woodend; 35 mins to Kyneton; and, 40 mins to Melbourne Airport. Each floor has a large shared kitchen (the downstairs will be completed by early November). Kitchen utensils and cookware are available for your use. There is a communal laundry on the top floor. Each floor also has its own beautiful shared lounge room with bay windows overlooking the farm and the Macedon Ranges. Both lounges include a wood fire and formal dining room. A separate TV room adjoins the top floor kitchen. There is plenty of space for barbecues and outside living. All bills and internet access are included in the rent. We are in the process of building a new kitchen and another full bathroom downstairs. At the moment there is a shower and toilet available. Whilst the renovations are being completed (by the end of November) the rent is $160 per room for a single person and $210 per room for a couple. When the new rooms are fully functional the rent will raise to $180 per room for a single and $230 per room for a couple, per week. There is plenty of off street parking, but not undercover and included in the rent. Some limited garaged car space is available at an extra cost. The access road is sealed and the winding driveway has a gravel surface. Entry is by a security gate. My partner and I will continue to live on the property.
