We call this share accommodation but it is like having a private place to yourself. We use part of the house about once in two months. So if you want a private place but are prepared to put up with the occasional very short invasion, this might be OK for you. There is a large bedroom, great kitchen, loungeroom, bathroom (and possibly another room). We are a family with 2 kids (4yrs and 7yrs) and about once each 8 weeks (or less) we come up for the weekend or overnight and do a little bit of work on the place. Looking for independent type and definitely a non-smoker, and sorry no pets either. The whole place is furnished, including the bedroom (double bed, drawers) so you can just walk in and unpack. It's about 1 km from Katoomba Station. There are buses between the house and the station. There will be a fixed arrangement for electricity bills. If you need phone or internet you will have to get the connection yourself. If your situation needs some flexibility you can contact me and we can discuss whether it will work.
Close to shops, train station and the local bus picks up and drops off at front of house, there is a gym just down the road in walking distance as most things are from this home. The new tenant has the right to all amenities with consideration to the other tenants. Rent will include bedding but renter must supply own personal items. For eg toilet paper, food and laundry supplies. All amenities are provided. The $225 or the $325 will include water, electricity and internet. The single rooms are for the $225 and both come with made single beds, wardrobe and bookcase. These rooms will become available after the 1st of July 2019. The last bedroom is the double room, at $325 which becomes available after the14th of January 2019 . This rooms has it's own Juliet balcony even though couples are welcome to aplply it does have two single beds, but on the plus side there is a wardrobe for both occupants. If one person would like this room the cost remains the same. The bathroom is shared with the other people who happen to be here at the same time.
This is a great house that is positioned in one of the nicest suburbs of the Blue Mountains and boasts a unique position directly across the road for the lovely lake. It has two separate lounge rooms for independent entertaining or chilling out. It also has a massive undercover decking area looking out on to a huge tree lined backyard. The water views can be enjoyed from all the rooms upstairs as can bush views from downstairs rooms. It is only a ten minute walk to the train and shops and just down the road from the golf course. This house has been recently renovated, freshly painted and has various sitting spaces internally and externally. This price is for the double room with a cupboard and a bed if required. Bushwalk 60 seconds to the end of our street and a great organic shop at the other end of our street. The studio/cubby you see in one of the images in the garden, can also be negotiated for a storage space. A little about us - we are a family with children and a few pets. We have fabulous friends and neighbours that sometimes pop in after school hours for a cuppa. We are considerate and respectful of others and our environment. You will have a one bedroom private granny flat to yourself with all bills included, we have a pool which you can use and off street parking right outside your door. The furniture in the pictures is no longer in the house, but we can arrange some furniture if needed.
