The location is great and the area is safe. Racecourse road is just around the corner. There’s also a train station right next door which makes it easy getting into the city. There are balconies both sides of the apartment with palms outside, so it’s a very tropical feel. You’ll have your own built in wardrobe and balcony. There’s a security door downstairs and the bedroom door locks too. Downstairs is a washing line if you prefer not to use a clothes horse (first floor apartment). Internet is half of $59.90 per month if you want it. Gas and electricity is half of approximately $400 every 3 months. It doesn’t include a designated car park but the visitor parks are always free.

Our place is just 3 blocks away from Racecourse road which is full of cafe and restaurants. My parent and I occupy downstairs. The room for rent is the master upstairs which has an en-suite and you even have your own living room.
This older style apartment is quite spacious and is close to everything. Situated just off Racecourse road, you have access to plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops. Coles is just down the road and bus stops are walking distance. It is less than 15mins into the Valley and about 20 mins into the city. There a numerous bus stops on Racecourse road which is a 5 min walk down the road. The apartment itself has a nice balcony and although older style, it looks nice with the furnishings it has. The parking is on street but we live on a corner so there is always plenty of parking on Seymour road just outside our entry to the building. Ascot has a lot to offer in lifestyle. Its close to Portside which is new and has lots of cafes, restaurants and shops. We have the Eat Street markets close by and the race courses as well. There is markets on every Sunday at Eagle farm Racecourse. Toombul and Chermside shopping centres are not too far either. Toombul about 10 mins and Chermised about 17 mins away. The apartment is two bedrooms, one bathroom. The room available is a little smaller than average but fits a single bed and tall boy plus there is room for a desk and chair (not included).
