There is a TV in your upstairs living area (I have a satellite dish installed so the reception is excellent). Also, a lovely outside courtyard and deck area to sit, relax and enjoy the mountain air. Cleaner comes once per fortnight to clean bathrooms and floors - no extra cost for this.

Close to shops, train station and the local bus picks up and drops off at front of house. The new tenant has the right to all amenities with consideration with the other tenants. Firewood will be supplied for winter by owners. Rent will include bedding but renter must supply own personal items. For eg toilet paper, food and laundry supplies. I have two single rooms and a double room available, the double room I will be charging $450, this I am assuming would be two people but with two people the charge for water, electricity and internet is then doubled, this is not negotiable if one person would like the room because it is a double room and I do have the two singles available, if the single rooms go I will then be advertising the double and if one person then wishes to take this room it will be at the said $450.
My house has a large backyard and big garage to store gear such as bikes, mountain gear etc. I live 5min drive from a waterfall and down the road there is a reserve where you can go bushwalking. Ive got Netflix, internet and a combustion fireplace. Bills (gas, electricity, water, internet) would be split among flatmate/s. I have 2 Rhodesian ridgebacks so my future flatmate/s need to be dog friendly - they’ll also need to help me out with just feeding them and may take care of them while I travel. I prefer someone who is clean and tidy. No smoking or drugs.
We call this share accommodation but it is like having a private place to yourself. We use part of the house about one in two months. So if you want a private place but are prepared to put up with the occasional very short invasion, this might be OK for you. There is a large bedroom, great kitchen, loungeroom, bathroom (and possibly another room). We are a family with 2 kids (4yrs and 7yrs) and about once each 8 weeks (or less) we come up for the weekend or overnight and do a little bit of work on the place. Looking for independent type and definitely a non-smoker, and sorry no pets either. The whole place is furnished, including the bedroom (double bed, drawers) so you can just walk in and unpack. It's about 1 km from Katoomba Station. There are buses between the house and the station. There will be a fixed arrangement for electricity bills. If you need phone or internet you will have to get the connection yourself. If your situation needs some flexibility you can contact me and we can discuss whether it will work.

Cute cottage in a quiet spot in Leura. Peaceful little slice of heaven. Backyard with an outdoor table, vege patch and soon to have four chickens. Adorable blue cattle dog who can't wait to be your friend. Warm wood burner and huge carpeted bedrooms. Cosy eat in kitchen.
It’s easy access to the highway and the local shops of Wentworth Falls. It has a lovely backyard and is opposite to a playground and tennis courts. There is plenty of parking on the street or a spot on the drive way if preferred. The house isn’t the biggest but it’s got a great atmosphere.
The house is a traditional mountains cottage that was completely renovated about 6 years ago and so is modern and bright. The available bedroom is at the front of the house and has a walk-in wardrobe, ensuite and opens onto a veranda and private front garden (which you would have majority use of). There are two separate living areas - an opened planned kitchen, dining and living area at the back, and a lounge room at the front of the house. The house has ducted gas heating and ceiling fans. The back living room is almost entirely made up windows and doors so it is bright and airy. The house is really well-located - 5 minutes walk to the station and even closer to the shops. There are a couple of great cafes, a Thai restaurant, tapas bar, amazing sourdough bakery, small grocery store, etc. - not to mention the beautiful bushwalk just 5 minutes drive, full of waterfalls and rainforest. The Lawson Magpie Markets are less than a minute away. There is stacks of parking. Lawson is about 5 minutes drive from Wentworth Falls, and about 15 to Katoomba and Springwood. I live with my daughter who is 3 - she is currently with me full-time, but will be living with her other parent half the time in the next month or two. We stick mostly to the back of the house and would be happy for our flatmate to be the majority user of the front lounge room and front veranda/ garden. We have a quiet home and are looking for someone who is respectful of that. Must be a non-smoker and absolutely no drugs. We have a dog, cat, 3 chickens and a big veggie garden. We have turned half of the garden into a veggie space, so it’s pretty productive and gardeners are welcome! Rent is $250/week, including internet and water. Energy (gas/ electricity) would be shared (we have solar panels that offset the electricity). The house is fully furnished; the bedroom can come with a bed or not.
