Its about a 10 minute walk to Dandy station. The house itself is in a small court, right in the corner, that doesn't get a lot of through traffic. We have a large, fenced backyard, with plenty of room to move, and access to a large garage. The room itself is cozy, with an inbuilt wall-length wardrobe and vanity top, and a bedside table provided. Other than that, it is unfurnished. The room comes with access to a small living area adjoining the kitchen, which you would be free to do with what you want and if you want. It has a couch for use, and a rug. We recently had a split system installed by the landlord that is in the main lounge room, which is where we live most of the time when at home. It's an old house, but is comfy, and works for what it needs to be. There is a large kitchen that would be shared use (we don't mind sharing an odd meal here or there, but not on a regular basis), as well as the bathroom, which has a bath/shower combo. Internet is included in the rent cost, and is high speed ADSL. Bills (water, electricity and gas) would be split three ways, depending on use. There is a third small, spare room, which is primarily used for storage and hobbies. Non-smoking is preferable, but if you're willing to go outside to smoke, that's cool too. We have a zero tolerance for anything harder. We are open to the idea of pets, but on a quiet/non-fuss level. The rooms have been recently renovated, each room has heating (inbuilt electric fireplace and ducted gas heating) and cooling. Double Glazed windows keep the heat/cool in, and nice and quiet. The house is located at the end of a court. Plenty of parking. Each room has its own 60 inch TV mounted to the wall and is nicely decorated. The room available is listed as 1 on the floorplan in pictures. . I am more interested in getting decent, long term people in, because it makes the house feel like more of a home, rather then a drop in motel. We order out together, cook for each other, its a really nice and chilled environment. Portions of the property are being upgraded, the current project is the front yard and pool area. In the front yard I am building an alfresco, with pizza ovens, rotisserie spit, outdoor firepit/place/chimineas all undercover. And the pool and pool area are being tiled, a sauna and Jacuzzi room installed (google images for "Hammam" to get the gist of how it will look). None of the renovations or upgrades tend to effect anyone living in the house. It just means that the longer you stay, the more use of the facilities you will have. (its going to be amazing).
