The house is pretty amazing, it feels like it's come off a set of Mad Men, it's a stupidly cool place to live. The house is fully furnished, has cork floors throughout, floor to ceiling windows around the whole back of the house that opens onto an entertaining deck and backyard, the house is filled with light and has beautiful timber panelling throughout. All bedrooms are all queen size, the bedroom has a bed and built in wardrobe, the only room available is through a private entrance room from the backyard, is larger but does not have a built-in cupboard, but has its own small deck and overlooks the backyard. This will be available Mid November. There are currently 4 girls and we are looking for another housemate, we enjoy each others company, eat occasionally together, giggle a lot and respect each other's space. Our household is a fun one! There is also going to be a baby joining the household end of February/March, so you would need to be ok living with a small child if looking to stay after this date.
The house is a 5 minute walk from the Deakin shops, and well located a 10 minute drive from the city. Our land lady is very nice, and seems to take very good care of the house. All the carpets are new and the walls are freshly painted. The house is a duplex, but does not share a wall or driveway with the other house, however, there is only one bathroom and no separate toilet. We have most of the furniture and white goods already, but if you have some stuff to contribute we would definitely appreciate it! The unfurnished room that’s available is quite large, although does not include a built-in cupboard.

You would also have access to the half sized tennis court and pool in the complex - it really is like living in a resort! This townhouse is amazingly located – within walking distance of the old Kingston shops, the lake, Brodburger and the old bus depot markets (in fact you can pretty much see all those things from the driveway). It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large living area, and a pretty large modern kitchen. It also has a great courtyard – perfect for brunch in the sunshine, or dinner parties in summer. The house has central heating, air-con in the living rooms, and ceiling fans in all of the bedrooms. The house has pretty much everything necessary in it already, although more is welcome! The bedroom is unfurnished and will share a large bathroom (complete with a spa (!)). It comfortably fits a queen bed and has a built-in cupboard, plus more storage in the hall.
