Hi guys, Room available is a large rumpus room on the bottom floor of this two story split house. Rent is $135 per week, including $5 for internet which is unlimited. House is relatively quiet with everyone mostly keeping to themselves, however do like to have a drink together and socialise at night. Room is huge (7X7M), with seperate lockable access from outside and upstairs. Great balcony and view of the city, 20 minute walk to Mitcham and the train station to get into the city. Large dining and lounge area as well. Shared space with the kitchen and bathroom, but people clean up their own mess.
This fantastic house is the bush retreat that you never knew that you needed. One of the best things about living here is the fact that you can go hiking in Brown Hill Creek Recreation Park straight from the front door. Walking distance to Mitcham Square (2km), the Edinburgh Hotel (700m), bus route 171 (600m). Cycling distance to the city. The kitchen has loads of bench space, a gas cooktop and a dishwasher Open plan lounge and dining with gas heater (makes it cosy in winter) and ducted air conditioning for the summer. I have one spare bedroom and some shared office space (still to be set up) and I'd love to find a great housemate to take my spare room.
