I love my house! Wooden floors so no vacuuming. There is no lawn but the yard is half vegetable garden. I trade vegetables with my Italian neighbour! I have split system heating and cooling, a fetch box, gas cooking, and a BBQ. The house is fully furnished except for the available room, but if you have your own stuff I’m flexible.

One bedroom currently available in a three bedroom house. The bedroom used to be a living room (we're guessing) so there's a large, non functional, fireplace in the room and large box shelving on one wall. The room is the largest however there isn't a wardrobe - we do have a smaller room right across the hall that isn't used for anything that has a wardrobe in it which is used as the wardrobe for this room, two girls have lived in this room and never found it an issue! There's one parking space in the driveway so it's basically however get's home first gets the park however there's plenty of parking on the street. The house is in the greatest location, just off Pako, across the road from the supermarket, zambreros (important), etc. Great amenities, air con and heating, newly renovated bathroom, the shared areas are fully furnished however we do have potential room for items if you are needing to bring some :)
The house is in a fantastic location! Not only do we live right near the lovely Pakington Street, but we also have several bus stops and grocery stores within easy walking distance! The Route 1 bus stops very close to us, and goes directly to both campuses of Deakin in Geelong (5 mins to Waterfront, 35 to Waurn Ponds.) I may be slightly biased, but I think that this place is in the best location in Geelong! Within 3 minutes of walking, you are at the most central part of Pakington St. There are great cafes, coffee shops, a fresh produce store, a wholefoods store, a newsagency, yoga studio, chemist, bakery and library all within a 3 minute walk (maybe 5mns if you walk slowly!). The house is about 5-10 minutes walk to Geelong Train Station and about 15-20 minutes walk into central Geelong. You can walk to the beautiful waterfront in about 15 minutes. If you're travelling to Melbourne by car, or down to the coast, you can jump on the freeway at the end of the street, it will take you about 60 seconds from leaving the house to the freeway by car. But don't worry, we don't hear any freeway noise from here! I consider the house a sanctuary and have decorated it accordingly. I like to have a clean and tidy house. The house is fully furnished, but if you have furniture then happy to store it in the garage out the back - there's heaps of space. The available room is yours to decorate as you wish, you can use the bed already there (or I can move it to the garage, no problems). There is plenty of built in robe space in the room too. I'm happy to offer discounted rent if you're just looking for a place for weeknights only, or for just a few nights per week.
