I have a room available with an ensuite bathroom in Sandy Bay. It is on the bus route to the UTAS Sandy Bay Campus (about 10 minutes by bus) and 5 minutes by car. The property has a stunning view of the Derwent River, including a view of the Tasman Bridge. It is a very quiet and safe neighborhood, so it is perfect for someone who wants some peace & quiet while studying or want to relax after a busy day at work. There are two undercover remote controlled garage carports available. My current housemate is moving out on the 1st of Feb 2018, but I'm sure this can be negotiated. The 1st of Feb 2018 is when our current lease agreement ends so I am looking for someone to renew our lease agreement with. If you need furniture, I'm sure my current housemate would be more than happy to sell you some of her things.

The house is next to the water (1min walk, not even) in Sandy Bay. It's a two-bedroom house with two floors, two bathrooms, kitchen, living/dinning room and a little terrace outside. The room has big windows and gets lots of light (it is also the largest room in the house). The main UTas campus is 5-10 mins away and IMAS/Salamanca and the city centre is only 15-20 mins away. Close to all the big supermarkets and shops in Sandy Bay road but also in a quiet street next to the park and water.

I have a beautiful and spacious two bedroom apartment on Bathurst Street in leafy and quiet West Hobart. The flat is nicely renovated, however still has that old Hobart charm. It has floorboards throughout and lots of natural light. There is a lovely garden with established fruit trees, herbs and compost. I am hoping to get some veggies happening soon. A gardener is included in the rent. The available room is quite large (3.1m x 4.0m) with a built in wardrobe. It isn’t furnished, however the rest of the apartment is. The room has lots of natural light. The layout of the apartment allows for privacy as well as some lovely shared spaces. There is a garage available for parking / storage. The bills are split equally as they come in, water is included in the rent.

The elevated position offers an amazing view (Derwent river from the Tasman Bridge to the Casino, kunanyi/Mount Wellington).The house has a centralised gas heating with panel heaters in every room. The spare rooms are situated at the bottom level of the house: one single ($190/w), one double ($220/w), and have views out over the garden. They allow for lots of privacy. Guest toilet + shower is upstairs, and there is an extra toilet downstairs. Plenty of on street parking but it is a quiet road.Big kitchen fully equipped. However, WE DO NOT COOK MEAT IN THE HOUSE AND OUR GUESTS ARE USUALLY VEGETARIAN OR DO NOT COOK MEAT DURING THEIR STAY. THIS IS NOT NEGOTIABLE. We don't mind about people having take-away non vegetarian food. We have 3 cats.
