Close to the city and quiet this is a lovely little spot. We have one large balcony and 2 small balconettes. This is a federation building (well, the outside at least) and we have semi water views of the Lane Cove river (sometimes) and lovely breezes. My current housemate is going away to study interstate temporarily and I am looking to fill the room for the period of 20/7/2018 to 10/11/2017. No extensions unfortunately. Ferry available from the other end of the street (weekdays) and 7 days from Woolwich wharf. There are regular busses and plenty of street parking. I have a cat, an 8 year old Russian Blue. She mostly keeps to herself. Semi furnished. Bed and tallboy will be in room. Linen and other odds and bodds will be required but there are plenty of spares in the linen closet if you would like to use those. I’m pretty quiet (work a rotating roster as a nurse) and this is not a party house, but I’m flexible if you do want visitors. Own food, but happy to share bread and milk. I’m no chef lol but there is a small kitchen here and you are welcome to use whatever is in there. This is pretty central to most places and there is a nice shopping strip and some great cafes and walks around. No bond. Happy to be flexible with rent amount as I just need someone in there for the period of time my current housemate is away to buffer the full amount, so don’t be afraid to shoot me a message. I have also included bills for this period.
Drummoyne is a great part of Sydney. We have direct public transport to the city right out outside the building there is a bus stop and frequent buses available on Victoria road direct to the city. Drummoyne is a great neighborhood ! We have views of the bay from our back balcony. Beautiful peaceful spot to share a place. Great environment for active people , short walk to Drummoyne Oval, shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, bay-run, bus, ferry transport to the city.The apartment is a three bedroom spacious living space. The building is dated , probably built in the 60's or 70's. But even though its not a flashy new place we have a great view and living space to share. The apartment and the room for rent is fully furnished. The laundry, living room, kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped. You are welcome to bring any furniture you may have, we have some space, and also some storage in the garage. The room for rent has a wardrobe a queen sized bed frame and mattress, new pillows and doonas if you need/want them, full length mirror, bedside lamp and bed side table. The ferry stop is around a 10-15 min walk from our place. The rent is $250/week. Long, Short term or temporary stay are welcome to apply. 2 weeks rent in advance required as Bond. We do require at least 4 weeks notice before vacating the room. Can discuss this in further detail.
