Cabins for rent – Noosa region Qld. We are looking for a woman to join our small self-sustainable community on a lush 5 acre farm and rain forest, 20 minutes north of Noosa, close to Lake Cootharaba. Each of the 7 comfortable newly built cabins offer a large living area including ensuite and private patio. Communal areas consist of a delightful Living Pavilion with breezeways and living and dining spaces, a winter-room with fireplace, indoor/outdoor gas and wood fired kitchens, pantry room, tea/coffee kitchen, TV lounge and a visitor's suite. Undercover car parking is available and we have a half cabin cruiser for fishing the local lakes, Noosa River and outside on a calm day. Of the six jobs to be done on the farm; fruit and veggie gardener is Rose, the handyman is Brian, the fisher is Andy, the small animal carer is Fran, the kitchen stores manager and communal shopper is Teresa, we are seeking a pantry manager. The pantry manager will be doing the communal job of preserving, dehydrating and drying our excess fruit and veggies for later consumption. If you are interested in that position we would welcome your call and visit. The remaining cabin for the pantry manager has a separate bedroom with its own ensuite, a walking robe, a lounge room and north facing deck. Its 45sqm in size. Ideally you will be a SARBB, a single, active, retired, baby boomer, but these details are flexible for the right person. There is good internet via ADSL2 with TelstraTV, deep spring water and rain water, ample 240V off the grid solar power, 60m of bird and possum proof raised organic veggie gardens, 65 fruit bearing trees and seven free range chooks. In exchange for very reasonable rent, which includes access to all the produce grown on the farm, water, power, WiFi and the house phone, you will be asked to spend a couple of hours a day doing your choice of jobs and helping to make the community achieve self-sustainability. Come and meet our small farming community, have lunch and, if travelling far, stay in our visitor's suite for a day or two.

Two large living areas (both with TV's etc). You have access to all amenities - washing machine etc. There is no bond as such but you are required to pay 4 weeks rent on entry. All bills are included on the basis of reasonable usage.
Hi - This is a great house - spacious but homey. It has two lounge areas - both set-up with TV's/DVD's. Its well located being approx a 10 min walk from local shopping precinct. The bathroom is shared and comprises of two sinks, shower and bath ( loo is separate) with plenty of cupboard/draw space. Large area under house for storage. The bedroom is quite large having a built in wardrobe with shelving and a small alcove area where you can sit and read. The bedroom is fully furnished or not. depending on your needs. Rent is the usual 2 x 2 weeks - no bond required ie 4 weeks rent on entry. You must be working full or part time and/ or volunteering within the community. All bills are included on the proviso that reasonable usage is maintained.
Large Queenslander , recently renovated. Two lounges both with open fireplaces. Lge bedroom with built in wardrobe. Approx 10 min walk into town. Bus to Hervey Bay close by. Electricity, gas and water all included on the basis of reasonable use. You need to be working full or part time or engaged in volunteer work within the community. In general just a great place to relax :)
