Our house is located in the suburb of Saint Peters at 83 Seventh Avenue. In addition to being within a 15min bus/bicycle ride to the CBD centre, there are a number of parks nearby (Including a dog park opposite ours) as well as a shopping centre which is within a 10min walk. There is a rose garden in the front yard and a reasonably sized lawn at the back. We currently have a spare room for rent at 80$, not including amenities. Whilst the room unfortunately does not have a window, it has a wardrobe and is very spacious. The room is not fully furnished but house is! If you enjoy a good laugh, appreciate documentaries by Louis Theroux and/or David Attenborough or are predisposed to the melodic voice of Neil Young on vinyl then you would fit in well.

Hi. We're looking to fill one large bedroom in our spacious five-bedroom house in St Peters, as one of our housemates has grown up and bought his own place. We're in a great big house, less than 10 minutes from the city on a bike (the Torrens River bike path is ~300 metres away) or bus (the bus stop is literally across the road). The bedroom is large and can easily fit a king size bed. The house has two large living areas, one bathroom (with separate toilet, it has never been a problem), a massive backyard (with a trampoline!), and a cellar. We also have high-speed (ADSL2) internet. Rent is $118 per person per week (for a total of $590/week for the house) - our bond is 6 weeks' worth, or $708/person, paid to the landlord. Utilities and internet generally work out to around $20-25 per person per week on top of that. The room will be available from 11th August.
Pretty relaxed living space - great for studying and close to city, Norwood shops etc. Very old villa with lots of rustic charm and a nice garden with plenty of room to start veggie patches/ hobbies etc. It's a lush place that is surely very inviting for those with a green thumb. The house is bloody old, and was likely one of the first establishments in the area. It has survived through the sinking of the titanic, the Adelaide 1954, 5.6 magnitude earthquake, two world wars, and the heinous inauguration of Donald Trump and Tony Abott into power. Yep they sure don't build them like they used to, and this old beast has certainly stood the test of time. With it comes the energies of families, lovers, artists and travelers from all walks of life across many different parts of the world. I have a large double room available at the front of the house. It has been recently repainted and has a queen bed, large standing desk, shelving and open hanging space for clothes. It is a comfortable space with lots of room for activities. I would ideally like a couple in this room as it reduces rent and makes living here quite cheap. With three people here it's $100 each per week, which includes ADSL. Water and electricity are extra and charged quarterly.
