There is a room up for grabs in our big amazing old house! The place is early 1900's and has an amazing energy to it. This is likely influenced by the many artists, musicians and creative types that have stayed here over the years, each adding their own personal touch to the place. Now being so decrepidly ancient and beautiful, this old beast isn't for someone who finds comfort in clean white modern surfaces and all the mod cons of a later built compound. This is more suited to the slightly more eccentric types out there who can appreciate good old fashioned character. There's also something about this house that draws out inner passions, the desire to pursue passions in life (whatever that may be) and especially some sort of less is more, appreciative underlying humility that you can't quite put your finger on. In terms of facilities, we have pretty much everything you could need, thanks to excessive op shopping and hard rubbish discoveries. We are also a house of dumpster divers (no snorkel required, unless you're really enthusiastic) in which all our food is saved from landfill and re-directed into our gullets. Don't be put off by this, as we eat like absolute royalty here....everyday.....for free.....Of course if you're put off by this you can purchase your own food, we won't judge! We do like to make this a house event and is a good social activity. The room up for grabs is the beautiful large front room, which has been recently painted and includes a queen sized bed, study bench and clothes hanging rack. I also want to mention that i have been largely accepting couples into this space as it reduces rent and bills (split three ways). I am however still open to any offers of solo male or female occupants. Rent here is $300pw, which is divided evenly, and includes internet. So with 3 people @100ea plus $500 bond, with 2 weeks rent and bond payable upon arrival. Bills are split evenly between everyone (unless people travel). I think i've remembered most details - Oh, we have chooks!! and they respond to strange sounds and eat like horses. The garden is also incredible, and is slowly being transformed. We also have a cooky old neighbour named Suzy, who is brilliant. The house is fully furnished - a bed is the only thing you would need to provide. The house is awesome - close to the city (5 min walk to Melbourne Street) and close to bus routes and shops. We have Netflix, a great outdoors area for entertaining, brilliant air con, cruisey housemates, and all the mod cons.

Hi! We have a room available from the beginning of December. Rent is $150 per week excluding bills and internet access. The house is in a great location on Torrens St, at walking (or riding) distance from the CBD. There is a cool cafe next door, and shops are about 2 km away. There is street parking only, however, it’s a very quiet street and there are no parking permits. The house is old but charming; the kitchen was recently renovated. We have a large garden with an outdoor setting, where we keep some chickens and try to grow some veggies. There is air conditioning in the living room. The available room is ~20 square meter, and easily fist a queen bed with other furniture.

Brilliant architecturally designed townhouse located in a quiet side street just off of Melbourne Street in North Adelaide! We’ve got the huge Master Bedroom on offer (4.1x4.5m). The room has worked really well in the past for the right couple, and having 4 in the house helps keep all the bills low. You’ll have your own ensuite and 5 bays of built in robes. There’s also a third toilet downstairs. The free connector bus to town is only a short walk away. Bill's aren't included but are an even split between us. All the essentials are all sorted: Tv, Internet, couches, fridge, washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, reverse cycle AC, dining table, vacuum, etc. You’ll have to provide your own furniture for your room though. Stand alone 2 double rooms with BIR, periodic lease agreement direct with THE BEST LANDLORDS EVER! Water bill paid by landlord but WIFI and utilities extra. One off-street carport space for the unit and safe on-street parking and Metros free City/North Adelaide bus stop is just around the corner. It comes every 30 mins during the week and every hour at weekends. Quiet area & yet so very close to everything! I've lived here 3yrs, it's that great! Private, enclosed paved courtyard, next to no maintenance. Two way air con in Main living area downstairs and one in each of the double bedrooms.

The house comes with two super respectful young men in their mid 20s. We are a fairly relaxed house and keep things pretty clean. The house also features Netflix, Mario Kart, and a veggie patch if that's your deal! House has great public transport access too all uni campuses and is very near UniSA Magill.
