My wife and I rent rooms in our house usually to female overseas students and employees. One single bed fully furnished room is available now, at $145 per week. The room is cozy and comfortable for a single person. The room is at the front and faces north so the light is good. House mates buy and cook their own food and do their own laundry and cleaning, and a washing machine is provided. Wi-fi and some consumables are included in the rent. There are 2 kitchens, 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets all shared. House is 15-20 minutes by bus or train to the CBD and close to the G10 bus route which goes to Flinders Uni. The house has nice gardens, back and front. Definitely no pets, no smoking, and no visitors staying overnight. No lease, no bond. The room can be inspected at any time. The house, on a quiet street, has four fully furnished single bedrooms. One good size very pleasant room is available now, no lease, no bond. The room has a lockable door, two windows so light and ventilation are good, a good size study desk an armed swivel chair, also a TV/DVD player and lounge type chair for quiet time relaxing, and located away from the kitchen and lounge. The room comes with an off street driveway parking space otherwise the house is very convenient to the Adelaide CBD, about 5 minutes walk to the bus or train, close to the G10 bus route to Flinders Uni, and close to the tram to the Glenelg beach. The toilet is separate from the bathroom, so no waiting. House mates do their own shopping, cooking and laundry, clean their own rooms, and share the cleaning of the common areas. Sheets and blankets can be provided if required, electric heater and fan are provided. We can't allow smoking, nor pets, nor over night visitors in consideration of the privacy and security other 3 house mates. It has a central heating/cooling system, newish kitchen and bathroom, and a great small backyard perfect for summer BBQs and growing veggies. Internet speed is quite good and didn't give us any issues when we had 4 people streaming at the same time. The room is big enough for a double bed, chest of drawers/bedside table and small desk. The house is at 28 Grosvenor St, Glandore, which is a side street near the intersection of South Road and Anzac Highway. It's a 5-minute walk to the tram which can take you to Rundle Mall in about 15 minutes. It's a 15 minute drive to Flinders University, and about 25 minutes by public transport. It's also within 5 minutes of Kurralta Park shopping centre which includes a late-night Coles. We have an enormous green backyard, a driveway, a shed and two toilets, one of which is an outhouse. The backyard is quite overgrown at the moment, but we have someone booked to tidy it up soon. We also have something of an in-house library, and all occupants are welcome to borrow from it.
