My friend is vacating the room and I am looking for a responsible, respectful and quiet housemate. The property is large with ample space. The room to let is very large and can fit a table, King or Queen size bed, lamp and cupboards. It has a large window. There are two levels to the property. Yours room will be on the ground floor with shared toilet and bathroom on ground floor with another housemate. However as he is very busy and hardly at home so you would be mostly using the bathroom/toilet yourself only although, please note it is to be shared when he is around. This is a NO smoking, parties or pets household. Sorry- but no couples either. Room comes unfurnished except for one cupboard. However, you can buy a mattress from us at $50 if you need. You can use my washing machine and dryer located in the laundry room with respect. There are two fridges. One is mine and the other for you and the other housemate to use. Well equipped household- has a sofa in lounge, dining table and chairs. Kitchen is equipped too. You can use the cooking utensils but you must wash up so others can use it. Off street parking. Bus and tram 59 near by directly to City and Melbourne University. 10 minutes walk to Glenverbie train station. Close to city. Although the suburb is Essendon, it is actually the borderline of Moonee Ponds side. So we do the Coles/Woolies shopping at Moonee Ponds and many nice cafes around. There are also many food deliveries to the area so you are in a very central area yet also near to the park (Queens Park) where you can exercise and enjoy nature.
Welcome to our cozy little house share in Brunswick West. We live in a 3-bedroom house with very spacious rooms, Wi-Fi, air con and ducted heating. All bedrooms are fitted with a double-doored mirrored wardrobes and can easily fit a queen bed with room to spare! The house is open plan, modern and spacious. We have a small yard, with a veggie patch, we both lack a green thumb, but we've been successful in growing tomatoes! We have enough room for 3 cars to be parked in the driveway. The property is under NRAS which means you would need to supply 12 months bank statements, 3 payslips and a declaration of income earned.
