About the house… The house is a light-filled, three bedroom home with high ceilings, floorboards throughout and a large backyard. The kitchen and lounge room are open plan, with gas heating in the lounge room. The bathroom (including toilet) and laundry are combined at the rear of the house. The house is fully furnished with all amenities, including a dishwasher. There is one car spot in the driveway and plenty of street parking. The house is in a great location, close to Mt Alexander Rd, supermarkets, gyms and cafes. Essendon Station is only a 5 minute walk away and trams and buses are easily accessible from Mt Rd. About the room… The bedroom is the largest in the house, located at the front of the residence. Room 1: it's the master bedroom which is furnished with a queen good quality bed/mattress, bedside tables, a very comfy armchair, 2 chests of drawers, a bookcase, a desk/chair, a chest and 2wardrobes. Room 2: That's a very spacious room with a queen bed(the one with the blue mattress), 2 bedside tables, 2 chests of drawers, a desk/chair, two double clothes racks, desk and chair . There are mirrors In both rooms. Don't worry if you have your own furniture, we can find a solution. There are flyscreesns, blinds and curtains in your room. There is one bathroom to share for those 2bedrooms. There is also a Tv antenna but not a tv. The lounge is furnished with 2x3seater leather very comfy couches, 2xcoffee tables and a Tv unit with a 43" tv, DVD player and speakers. There is a separate dining room with a table and chairs. A separate big kitchen with lots of cupboards , dishwasher,microwave, most of the small kitchen appliances that you might need as well as a big new fridge. In the laundry there is a washing machine, a dryer and cupboards. In the bathroom there is a shower and a separate bath and cupboards. The back yard is also very big and sunny most of the day. There is outdoor furniture there as well as an apricot and a lemon tree! In the front yard you be creative with your gardening skills if you want to. There is also space in the garage to storage your stuff. Feel free to do anything you want in your room, but you have to be tidy,clean and responsible in the common areas. Smoking is only allowed in the back yard. You will find your room steam cleaned and fresh painted. When you move out you have to leave it as you found it. You can have your guests/partner sleepover occasionally. This is not a party place and all the visitors should leave my 10pm the latest. I let the room to only one person for this price. I might consider couples for a very short-term accommodation for $400. As for the spot where that house is...in the heart of Moonee Ponds! It's about 2-3' walk to the tram stop 59 which is on Mt Alexander Road and about 10' to train station Moonee Ponds. Woolworths is 5' away and the shopping centre within walking distance (7-8'). Puckle st with the popular coffee shops and restaurants are a breath away too.
