This house is set in the beautiful and quiet Bonogin Valley. Surrounded by Sub-Tropical rain forests and National Parks. We have nicknamed it the Lost World. Water is filtered rain water, electricity is extra to the rent but internet is included.
The house is situated on a acreage property on the mountain to the north of the Currumbin Valley rock pools. The surroundings are park like and in complete harmony with nature. It is peaceful and tranquil environment. The views are toward the Tomawin Ranges to the south. Relative to the beach is 12km and the nearest shopping centre is the IGA in Currumbin Waters or the Pines in Elanora, around the 10km. Murwillumbah is only 18km away which is a quick way to go if you are venturing south. The outdoor amenities include a swimming pool, spa and BBQ area. The area for rent is downstairs from my bedroom, with totally separate bedroom, lounge, toilet and shower, so total privacy is not an issue. For mobile reception, you need Telstra, because their signal is the strongest. I do have ADSL2 cable connection with 100GB per month which I am prepared to share pending on usage. I am a clean and tidy person who is very considerate of always leaving the kitchen neat and tidy. I expect the same and the person I want to share with not to shy away from doing a little housework in the common areas to help out. If you have the dreaded smokers habit, then never inside and don't leave your buts around. If you enjoy growing vegetables .. I have garden beds already prepared and would enjoy the company.
Update: house remained dry during the flood- highest street in south Lismore. It's a classic old Lismore weatherboard home with a massive backyard. the room is fairly private at the back of the house, and there is a sunroom off to the side which can be turned into a study if needed.

The house is fresh, clean and has a spacious feel. It has a veranda that faces the rural view of hills and the lounge/kitchen space enjoys heaps of abundant light. The place is built for passive solar and is warm but attracts breezes. There is solar power and high speed internet, which is included in the rent. There is a second room with only drapes that can be shared as an office space, guest/yoga space or a treatment room.... open to translation. The house is furnished with a mixture of the owners things and my own with an Asian overtone including Japanese zen pebble garden and soak bath in the main bathroom. The area is quiet and has a tennis court and playing field nearby and is close to the Farmer's Market and town. It's a pet free, smoke and drug free home. This is a large bright and sunny, north-facing room at the front of the house (for easy access). It has its own walk-in-warbdrobe, ensuite bathroom and comes fully furnished.
