This is a very large, two storey house on a sizeable farm with cattle and horses. It is rural and quiet with many trees including a small orchard near the house. Bird life is plentiful and varied and we have a resident pea hen. Unfortunately, no pets can be brought onto the property. It is an easy 10 minute drive from Gisborne; 15 mins to Bacchus Marsh; 20 mins to Riddells Creek and Woodend; 35 mins to Kyneton; and, 40 mins to Melbourne Airport. Each floor has a large shared kitchen. Kitchen utensils and cookware are available for your use. There is a communal laundry on the top floor. A separate TV room adjoins the top floor kitchen. The cost for each room is $180 for a single and $220 for two people. There is plenty of off street parking, but not undercover and included in the rent. Some limited garaged car space is available at an extra cost. The access road is sealed and the winding driveway has a gravel surface. Entry is by a security gate. I will continue to live on the property and I will be actively working the farm.
It's really close to Freeway access and is within walking distance of the Gisborne township, 4 mins drive to to the Station. Romsey is a really nice quiet town with a nice community, the house is on a block with gardens surrounding it, very close to the main street of Romsey. The Land outside the house block is getting developed later this year but there will be full access to the house at all times. There is a large outdoor veranda out the back with a split system AC in the lounge area. House is fully furnished with Lounge, Laundry and kitchen. Flatmates need to be able to drive because the nearest train station is about a 10 minutes away.

Just around the corner we have a community of Kangaroo's. Across the road is Emu Bottom Wetlands which is an amazing place to take a stroll. Sunbury Fields is less than 10 min drive to the Train Station and main strip of Sunbury. Very friendly neighbourhood and we all look out and help each other. Sunbury is a 50 min ride into the city by train or 40 min drive (Via tolls) Very close to the airport. Also have some amazing farmers markets in and around the area. The house is 4 bedrooms with 3 living areas. Each flatmate can have their own living room and space away from the others. The bedroom with the rumpus/living room directly attached to it is $180p/week. While the other bedroom is $150 - Living room is a little more open and connected to the kitchen. My living room is the theatre room, which is tucked away so who ever has the living room connected to the kitchen can still have their own space, just might get a little noisy during meal times. I do have a dog who lives here permanently, she is a Staghound cross names Stella, Apart from being a little bit needy, she is the most beautiful girl ever. Its a recently renovated house in a lovely and quiet no-through road. The house is close to the centre of Sunbury - 5 min walk to the shops and station. Its a large room with a built in wardrobe. The house has a reasonable back yard with a big vegi patch. I'm in early 30s and I work full time. The rest of my time tends to be spent away with my horses or working in my garden. So its a pretty quiet house. I have 3 cats already, so no pets are allowed. Also please note that the room is for a non smoker only. Out side smokers and occasional smokers won't be accepted. And while i'm here saying what I do/don't want; you must be over 18 and be employed. The room is only for 1 person, not for couples. I would also prefer to not have someone who works night shifts as we'd end up waking each other up all the time. And the room is for living in not for things like music lessons or tutoring. There are several living spaces and lots of outdoor space for enjoying sunny days. You can choose your room but both are furnished and have built in robes. Each room has a lovely window opening onto trees making it very private. Smokers can indulge outside at the back of the house ( not undercover). I am welcoming of a small to medium dog as I have a old furry boy. There is a doggy door for him to come and go as he wishes so you must love dogs as well. There is off street parking and undercover parking if you wish. I don't have NBN. I use a dongal that i top up so you would need access to your own internet. The right person will need to have a police check or working with children's check and must be able to provide employer details for a reference.
