The lounge/living area is open plan, bright, breezy and opens out onto the balcony, which looks out onto trees and greenery. Please note: Short term stays are $425 per week, bond is still applicable and refund a week after you vacate, given the property is left as was.

About the flat - Its a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom flat right on Manly beach (which was recently named the best beach in Australia!). It has a massive living room with a black leather couch, 60" TV, large garden with a hammock, hot tub, BBQ grill, wifi, internal laundry (washer & dryer) , dishwasher, etc... The room for rent has a large built in wardrobe with mirrors and can fit a queen size bed.

We love this space because of it's proximity to Manly Wharf, various cafes, the Manly Art Gallery and the multiple beaches (Delwood Beach, Fairlight Beach & Manly Cove to name a few) all within 10mins walk. The stunning views from our balcony we never tire of whilst cooking some steaks on the BBQ and the great functionality of our kitchen. Just to clarify, we have a room available from December 9th only, and we (Sarah & Claudio) live in the Master Bedroom with an Ensuite. So your bathroom would only be shared with one other. There is one car space available in a lock-up garage downstairs for an additional $25/week should you require it. Impressive townhouse in a fantastic location (3 mins to wharf), beautiful views over the harbour, two rooms available for LONG TERM rent. We have two furnished double rooms becoming available in our amazing 5 bedroom townhouse in Manly overlooking the harbour. One will be available from 23rd November, the second from mid-December. Both for long term rent and both available for viewing from Thursday 14th Nov (we are away until then) - please get in touch if you'd like to arrange a viewing. We are 3 minutes' walk from the ferry wharf and 5-10 minutes down the Corso to the main beach. We have been here for three and a half happy years and love the location, the view, the house itself but also the friendships we make by share-housing :) The townhouse has 5 double bedrooms all on the first floor. The rooms available are both good-sized, light-filled double rooms. Rent for either room is $450pw including all bills, and we now finally have NBN! (also included in the rent) Once we have found our two new housemates, it will be a full house of five. The first room is becoming available (23rd November) because one of our current housemates has decided to make the move to live with her boyfriend, so whilst we’re sad to see her leave, we’re excited for her! Although both rooms are double rooms, we are looking for only one housemate for each as we don't want the house to feel too busy. The main living area is huge. Modern open plan kitchen with breakfast island, open to the large living / dining area, with large glazed sliding doors out on to the main entertaining balcony with BBQ, all with fabulous views out to the ocean. There are two bathrooms: one with shower and washing machine, and the other has a bath with shower over. Water pressure in both is good and hot water is instantaneous so never an issue running out :) There is one additional spare bedroom with comfortable sofa bed for guests (for use by all housemates' friends / family), which we also use as a TV / study room. It's a lovely little space. There is another room on the ground floor, which we use mainly for drying laundry. It opens on to a lovely rear courtyard. There is a garage, which we would like to keep free of cars to allow everyone to use it for storage of surf boards, bikes, kayaks, camping gear etc. On-street parking is currently available with a permit, however the permit rules in Manly are set to change early next year so we can’t guarantee this will be available in future. Otherwise there's free parking available 5-10 minutes' walk away. We’re so close to the ferry and buses that you don’t really need a car :) All bills are included in the rent (electric, gas, broadband internet, cleaner). A bit about us: We are six (soon to be three!) young professionals in our late twenties to mid thirties: Andrew and Sarah are a couple from the UK sharing one room and have been in Oz for 6 years. We’re the ones who are heading off for a snowboard season, so we’ll be here until the 22nd December but then away until 4th April, when we’ll look forward to getting to know our new housemates better! Simon, and currently his girlfriend Jess, will be moving into our room once we leave. Simon moved here from the UK a little over a year ago, to be closer to Aussie girlfriend Jess, and has lived with us for almost a year. Don’t get too attached to living with them as I’m afraid we’ll be wishing them a happy new home together once we get back from our travels :( Laura, a Dutchie, joined us in April this year and has fitted in to the household immediately. We’re happy to say she’ll be hanging around! We all love living in Manly, some of us getting the ferry to work in the city every day (dolphin and whale spotting!). We all enjoy the outdoors; swimming in the ocean, walking/hiking, beach days, skiing/snowboarding, camping etc. however weeknights we tend to be pretty old lady-ish and you’ll usually find us all in bed before 10pm! We view housemate-hunting as an opportunity; we are looking for someone to join the house not just as a housemate but as a new friend, so we hope to find someone who shares our interests and values, and who would like to make new friends as well as have an awesome place to live. If you like the idea of having a catch up after work on the balcony with a drink, sharing a few dinners together, if you prefer to chat of an evening rather than spend every night watching TV in your room, but also appreciate a bit of quiet time, then you're the sort of person we're hoping to live with. Someone who is sociable but not a party animal. We have friends round for BBQs/dinner and games and enjoy going out for food and drinks, but we don't hold loud parties into the early hours every weekend. We respect the place we call home and we expect the same of our housemate. The house is kept clean and tidy so it's a lovely place to live, and we’d like to live with someone who looks for the same in their home - not having to pick up after one another (our student days are over!)! We do have a cleaner who comes once a fortnight to clean the communal areas (included in the rent) but we also expect everyone to pull their weight in between and clean/tidy up after themselves as it can easily get out of hand living with five! :) Please no smokers - we enjoy our home smelling lovely.
